“I love the flavor and style of their burritos (steak burrito is a go-to). Tacos are good. Breakfast burrito is not my favorite. I do think a $14 steak burrito is overpriced for what it is. If they could make it $11 I'd say it was a more fair deal. Nice staff, quick workers.“

It’s literally so good that I wake up and crave it 😂 most authentic flavor packed Birrias I’ve ever had. The owner is just as wonderful, so kind and genuine. “We visited El Sombrero on Sandy for the first time last night, after I read a review on NextDoor. We loved it! Delicious chicken enchiladas suizas, charming atmosphere, very attentive and cheerful wait staff. They were gearing up for Cinco de Mayo celebrations. We’ll be back! I want to try the enchiladas molé next. We went for an early dinner, 5ish. As we left , it was starting to fill up and get louder.“

“What a great find! Lately I can't help but judge what I'm served against what I pay, and Taqueria La Mestiza did not let me down. Street tacos that are reasonably priced, and a veggie burrito that doesn't skimp on the veggies. The staff are nice and very helpful. I highly recommend the Panachos; think taco, but the tortilla is fried and filled with refried beans, then topped like a taco. They are a fun crunchy alternative to the taco. This place is absolutely worth the drive.“

Everyone is pleasant and personable. I never feel rushed and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, appreciate friendly and efficient service and the wonderful food. Burritos are excellent. “Tiny little hole in the wall Mexican place with really nice people, and great simple traditional style food. Chili relleno was omelette style and absolutely perfect. Salsa was spicy and perfect.

It's pretty much like being in an abuelas kitchen in South Texas and they've decided they really like you.

“This is some of the only great and authentic Mexican food in the Portland area. I’m from California and have been struggling to find a *real* taqueria that doesn’t water down their salsa and doesn’t have brussel sprouts on the menu. Their Rajas Quesadilla is bomb af. 10/10 would recommend!“
