Restaurantji's guide to Sherwood's top Mexican dining experiences.
“Living in San Diego California we are spoiled with our many different choices of Mexican food establishments to choose from, so when we travel we are often disappointed in comparison to what food we find while traveling. Not so in our experience at Mazatlan. The service was good, the look and atmosphere authentic and the cuisine tasty, with generous portions. Whether traveling from afar or just around the corner, I recommend checking out Mazatlan.“
“Been here a couple times.Set back from 99W in Sherwood near Kohls. Quiet little strip mall.Comfortable dining and great service. Nice little spot to meet up for lunch. I like the atmosphere. Looks like they have outdoor dining in summer. We'll be back!“
“Second time here. It's Americanized Mexican, so don't expect some"authentic" experience, but what they do, they do well. The staff are super friendly and responsive, food is tasty, service was fairly quick and the atmosphere is friendly, bright and clean. At least give them a try.“
“Only downside is no drive thru. Service was great, food was wonderful. It's not as cheap, but SO much better than Taco Bell (sorry Taco Bell but it's true). Like budgeting vs McDonald's. I've LOVED their food since I was a little kid when they had one in Sherwood the last time many years ago. Hope this one stays! Oh, and they also have a full smoothie menu at this location in Sherwood by Target! It is take out only at that one though, fyi.“
“A super cute taco shop to satisfy your cravings. You can't find an $8 margarita anywhere that gets its job done unless you're at Araceli's Cocina. I love how the restaurant is clean and the staff were kind. I wasn't a fan of the veggie tacos as I thought they were bland and unseasoned, but I'm assuming that the meat options are better because it was very busy during the evening. Cute back patio, too.“
