Second time returning to Canards, the food was as amazing as we remembered almost a year later! The atmosphere is one of a kind, comfortable seating, nicely decorated, and great views of the kitchen/bar/windows. This is my favorite restaurant in OC hands down! I like that their menu changes, offering new seasonal dishes that are all fantastic!
Several of our group have food allergies and our server was careful to note them and guide us toward dishes that didn't have foods we are allergic to. And when dishes were ready to serve, checked to make sure they were properly prepared before brining them to the table. When she found problems, she brought us an additional appetizer to eat while waited for the correctly adjusted dishes. Fantastic dining experience; facetted dishes by one kitchen executed well. My party tried many different dishes, they were excellent. Dessert kept the tempo of the rest of the dinner by being equally exquisitely delectable as the rest of the dishes.Foie gras dumpings, the JoJo's, the hazelnut Mille-feuille , the Crab lagoon dip!!!!!
