Now I've seen some real Karen's around here but the girl who came in around midnight and 1:00 was absolutely horrible she was yelling at the kid because we were getting our order first and saying we can't treat her like this even though nobody was doing anything. There's no way anybody working at subway makes enough money to be dealing with people like that. I definitely will be coming back because that kid is awesome.“

“What a great little weekday breakfast/lunch place! The chef and cashier are the husband & wife owners and they were so fun to chat with (late lunch so it wasn't crowded). The food offering is a very creative array of sandwiches (we had lunch) with some options for more intense pepper zest. Definitely a good option to burgers for a workday lunch!“

“Jojo comes up on a lot of PDX "Best of..." lists, and as a result, when I was looking to book a reservation and found no convenient time slots available, I figured the next best alternative would be to skip the BS and just hit up the food cart. Good choice.

Reasonably priced for a premium burger in Portland, I went with the Mr. Onion Burger, which lived up to the name in every way possible: an assortment of awesome Alliums assembled under a bun, and tied together with a tasty, tangy Alabama white mustard. Very much approved! I'm now even more intrigued to return and try the Spicy Cheeseburger, which would normally have been my #1 pick, but I wanted to try something different.

Of course, one can't eat at Jojo's without trying the Jojo's, right? And my visit was no exception: a small order of the Nashville Hots was a fantastic accompaniment, even if the red sauce and breading got absolutely everywhere! And even a small order is a sizeable portion, meaning I took half of it home with me, for later.

Jojo came with a lot of hype and expectations, but they knocked it out of the park, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. And if you're like me, and you don't need any pretense to enjoy a classic burger at a reasonable price, don't bother reserving a table in NW; just head over to this cart on SE Powell.

Parking: Plenty of parking at the John's Marketplace lot.

“Absolutely adorable sandwich shop - so glad I dropped by on a whim. The turkey pesto is my favorite, about out to Lindsey for the rec, she was 100% right it's perfect. Breakfast sandwiches are also amazing. They have even convinced me that oat milknis good, my chai oat milk latte is so good it's now all I want after a Saturday morning yoga class. I plan on personally keeping them in business but help is appreciated.“

“Got a build-your-own vegan sandwich here and it was huge and delicious. Completely missed seeing the specials board somehow, which had a great vegan sandwich listed, but the whole menu has great options for whatever your diet is (except maybe GF, but they also have salads). The drink selection in the bodega is also awesome, a lot of unique options, and they have UTZ chips (including the dill pickle flavor), which I haven't seen anywhere around here before! Anyways, the sandwiches are bomb, and I will for sure be back.“

“I love Philly Cheese steak sub. I live in Vancouver Washington. When I went to Clarkamas town center and I saw Charleys cheesesteak I was so happy.!! My friend Jay is owner in Florida Charleys cheesesteak. He always said If you find a Charleys in your areas please try it. So I said I will but I can’t find in Vancouver WA. Finally I found Charleys in Oregon. I ordered Philly cheese sandwich large. It’s a huge and big portion. So delicious and yummy. I love it. My youngest daughter loves fries.“
