“Portuguese muffins are my favorite. When visiting my grandparents Newport, RI, the muffins were always my favorite for breakfast - and in the past I have asked family to mail me muffins on occasion. Lottie & Lula's breakfast sandwiches on the muffins are to die for. I always get a 4-pack of muffins to take home. If you have never tried coffee milk, it is also an amazing Rhode Island treat! ❤️❤️❤️❤️“

Came here for a large order and the staff let me know how they prepared their sandwiches and were able to bag my order super speedy! I came to Jojo expecting a classy, sophisticated meal, and while the fried chicken and thick-cut jojos were practically a spiritual experience for my tastebuds, my stomach eventually insisted on a trip to the restroom. Naturally, the second I reached for the door, my worst fears were realized: the toilet handle started spinning on its own, a tiny pig thrust its head out from inside the bowl, and a bizarre, mirror-dwelling enemy Stand user tried to slice my ankles from behind the sink tile! I had to summon Silver Chariot at lightning speed just to shed its armor, slice the bathroom stall door into confetti, and execute a flawless, high-speed tactical retreat back to the dining patio. Jotaro didn't even look up from his table while I was screaming about pig toilets, but honestly, despite the extreme psychological trauma and near-death experience, those signature sauces are worth fighting through an enemy ambush every single time!“

The owners are the only employees on Tuesday, the day I visited, and they were so welcoming and friendly! We even discussed the sourcing of their pickles! The food is delicious, though you might want two sandwiches if you're really hungry.

“I would love to call Addy’s a “hidden” gem, but they are far too busy to ever be considered hidden! This cute sandwich shop is only open 4 hours a day, only Monday-Friday so if you want to try it you should plan to wait a bit for your food.

The wait is worth it however! They serve delicious sandwiches and salads, with generous portions for the price. I always enjoy checking what the daily sandwich and salad specials will be. They are usually creative, tasty, and healthy.

For me the tomato tapenade panini always hits the spot. They don’t skimp on the mozzarella! I usually get a turkey salad too, and it’s always chock full of cubed turkey and avocado.

The real pro tip here is to get some of the free sauces next to the water station. I love the green sauce they have. I would buy it by the bottle if I could!

The employees here are friendly! I mentioned that I wish I had gotten a side of the wild rice salad they had today, and the employee behind the register kindly gave me a sample!
