Lovely little place with excellent, well-seasoned food (which you don't always get in Portland!). The soups are basically always wonderful, and the vegan options are a treat even for non-vegans.
Busy lunch spot, and very clean. I went here because multiple people in the office were talking about how delicious their food was. Came here for a large order and the staff let me know how they prepared their sandwiches and were able to bag my order super speedy! Tuna sandies for satiating protein and a perfectly dressed Tuscan kale were our favorites.
Their breakfast Sando is the best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in my LIFE!! The caramelized onions were insane, I had to tell all my coworkers about it- their other food looks beautiful and delicious and I can’t wait to try it, I will definitely be coming back here regularly. 10/10 recommend!!!

Taylor Street Kitchen is a fantastic restaurant known for its balanced flavors and delicious meals like the Aleppo tuna sandwich and mortadella sandwich, which features whipped ricotta, pistachio, olive, and greens. The staff provides helpful recommendations, especially for the incredible soups like the delicious gluten-free and dairy-free soup, which has become a favorite among customers. With a strong baking program, the bread and pastries are awesome, and the cacio e Pepe chicken sandwich is phenomenal. The bakery items, including the delightful cappuccino and coconut carrot cake, are also recommended. Despite the indoor space not being great, it's a legit place worth visiting for a cozy atmosphere, especially on chilly days, and the great coffee. The sandwiches are elevated, made with fresh herbs, and everything is flavorful, balanced, and seasoned to perfection. Taylor Street Kitchen has gained a reputation for its responsiveness, even handling last-minute orders with ease, ensuring that customers receive high-quality food quickly.
