“We live 3/4 across the country in Indiana but every time we come to town we always visit the Ale & Cider House. The lady who owns the place and always seems to take care of us and is always very friendly. As for the beers and ciders they are the best we’ve had. Loved the ciders before they filtered them but still taste just as good but without the “look”.😉 A true gem that you must try next time you are in the quaint little town of West Linn. Thanks for the awesome drinks and hospitality!!“

“I popped in here for the first time several months ago for lunch and a glass of wine, and ended up having what could arguably be one of the best Italian cold cut sandwiches I’ve had in my life. Seriously, I wake up dreaming about that sandwich sometimes it’s so good. The pepper spread pulls it all together. My partner really enjoys the Cascadia Dip.
When it comes to their wine and beer selections, there is a lot to choose from. It’s a great place to take friends or family because there is something to suit everyone’s tastes. The service has been friendly every time, and the atmosphere is great. I feel like they did a great job maximizing their space without crowding tables so close together you’re bumping elbows with strangers. Amazing spot to try out if you’re in the area!“
“This is the only place that serves Vision hard cider (that I know of), specifically the Colada Cooler (coconut lime)!! It's my absolute favorite cider I've EVER tried ❤️❤️. They don't serve food (other than small bags of chips & I think free popcorn) but they allow outside food which is a plus!! We drive from Beaverton to Canby just so I can get my cider fix occasionally. Last weekend we went to a Disco event there, it was fun although I'm pretty sure everyone knew each other besides the two of us lol.“

“Umm... I wanted to rave on and on about the pizza, then the pork meatballs, then the Spag (with meatballs)..but something else struck me that is even more important. Some place finally, THIS PLACE knows how to do wings on the west coast! How did it take this long? Oh my God! I took my chances and those are the wings I've been waiting for. Very impressed!“

“Great local taproom. They play great music on a double record player, and great live music on the weekends. The cider in particular is very good. The food is hot or miss, the pizza is great if a little pricey, the apps and sandwiches are getting better.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not easily accessed by wheelchair that I could see. At least one or 2 steps at every entrance.“

“If you're looking for an affordable eat that's true. This is absolutely a must ado for portland.
The mac and cheese is large portions, but it does seem to use different noodle variations from time to time, which is a personal complaint. But i'm still gonna rate the food good. Because the flavor is consistent and the portions are out of this world.
I know it historically for the steak. In shake, since it is a strip club, but you can order this food right outside the window. They also have generous portions of burger that you can get, that will feed a family of four.
The chicken strips are a large and healthy portion. As well as the burgers are good to go. Must try the steak bites. It comes with garlic bread with most of the orders, so it's kind of like eating at your grandma's house just without the ladies with their clothes on, have a great day.“

“Love the new look (I hadn’t been in since 2022–it was much smaller), I have stopped in twice in the last week. Awesome experience both times, everyone is super friendly. Perfect spot to work, chill, date. Etc. I will definitely be back.“

“I stopped in there briefly during sandwich week to try out their 10$ sandwich they were promoting “its good to be king sandwich”
The chicken patty has good crispy batter, it seemed to be a ground chicken patty, it had good flavor, with a nice balance of spice as well as balance of chicken, bread, & veg (Arugula, red onion, aioli, tomato ) so it’s not too heavy of a meal.
It was a good sandwich. Nothing to write home about, definitely better than some ive had and paid more for though. Service was good too.“
