I had a half a dozen oysters and the gnocchi in a mushroom sauce. And for the carb diet a delicious sourdough bread. Cool place for drinks and good food. I am definitely coming back on my next trip to Portland.
Stepping into Zinc under its new ownership is so refreshing! The transformation is remarkable, the service is attentive and so friendly, and the food is incredible! When you walk in the door you can sense the renewed energy and excitement about the revamp. We tried the Salmon Carpaccio, Rainbow trout and the crème brûlée, all of which are to die for! It was a first visit for everyone in our group and we all agreed that Zinc was great and we'll be back. We had a great waiter who was charming and efficient and fun. The small pizzas and pasta bolognese were very good, as well as the kale salad. French fries were wonderful and the special tomahawk pork chop was "the best meat I've had in a very long time!"
