It was a first visit for everyone in our group and we all agreed that Zinc was great and we'll be back. We had a great waiter who was charming and efficient and fun. The small pizzas and pasta bolognese were very good, as well as the kale salad. French fries were wonderful and the special tomahawk pork chop was "the best meat I've had in a very long time!" Oh and the ginger beer gets two thumbs up!Parking: A little difficult to find a spot, but planning a couple of minutes extra is the easy solution

I had a half a dozen oysters and the gnocchi in a mushroom sauce. And for the carb diet a delicious sourdough bread. Cool place for drinks and good food. I am definitely coming back on my next trip to Portland.

Stepping into Zinc under its new ownership is so refreshing! The transformation is remarkable, the service is attentive and so friendly, and the food is incredible! When you walk in the door you can sense the renewed energy and excitement about the revamp. We tried the Salmon Carpaccio, Rainbow trout and the crème brûlée, all of which are to die for! I would definitely recommend Zinc and can’t wait to eat here again!!Dietary restrictions: They had plenty of pescatarian options for me!

This is a fun, cozy restaurant. Friendly, professional staff, a nice variety of wonderful food (My favorite, the Pear Pizette/Tartine), and a small screen playing old black and white movies with the sound off to bemuse you from the 6-stool bar. An excellent place for a date or rebonding with old friends.

Zinc is one of my new favorite spots! The interior is really cozy and the food was delicious. My favorite item on the menu is the tortellini with lemon and basil but everything I ordered was five star deliciousness. I will definitely go back again and bring friends/family from out of town.

Everything about this place is absolutely amazing since the new owner took over the staff are super friendly and it’s the perfect place for a nice dinner. The food came out in an expected but reasonable time and was plated beautifully. I’ve been back here twice and tried the bolognese with Carlotta’s hand made pasta and the meatballs on toast which were both comparable to the food I’ve eaten in Italy. The bar staff there is equally just as great with a wide arrange of drinks and kid friendly mock tails. I recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone I know and it’s amazing
