“I have lived in Morocco and been traveling there since the 1970s. my lunch yesterday at Kasbah Moroccan Cafe was undoubtedly the best Moroccan food I have eaten in the US. The food was delicious and authentic. Portions were generous. While we had to eat outside due to Covid, we could see that the inside of the cafe was attractively done in Moroccan style. The owner was very friendly. My son-in-law is Moroccan and he loved the food as well. I unreservedly recommend this place and will make a point of eating there next time I visit Portland.“
“What a gem of a coffee shop!! We are so glad we tucked in for a cup of coffee. The coffee is delicious and the latte art is so cute. The desserts were the perfect sweet treat for a rainy Saturday afternoon. The shop carries so many darling items, many are perfect for cat lovers. We will definitely be back!!“
“Our whole family loves to eat here, and tons of GF options. Yummy!Dietary restrictions: Great for gluten free! Lots of vegan and vegetarian options.Kid-friendliness: My child loves it here. Fresh squeezed OJ and powdered sugar topped waffles… who could ask for more??“
“We were visiting from out of state and this was on our list of restaurants to try. So glad we did! The staff is so friendly, the food was tasty, and the café is beautiful. We live in a town with limited dining options and very little cultural diversity as far as the food goes. I come to Beaverton once or twice a year, so I’ll definitely eat at Family Café again. I want to try more dishes. ❤️“
“I love Ken’s for a quick coffee or lunch. Their list of sandwiches looks incredible and I’m looking forward to trying more of the menu. The staff is very helpful and bubbly. I also love that they have dairy-alternative milk for no additional cost! I’d definitely recommend heating up your pastries if possible, it really kicks it up a notch.“
“Best blueberry muffin I’ve ever had! Delicious breakfast sandwich with free drip coffee, and a very friendly Nana. Vegetarians: when I said I didn’t want meat on my sandwich, she offered tomato instead which I thought was a nice touch! So lucky to have this spot in the neighborhood.“
“My wife and I stopped by The Pie Spot on our way through Portland, and it was perfect! The service was fast and friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the pie was delicious. I had the white chocolate orange mousse, which was perfection. I will definitely stop by again next time I'm in town!“
“Had the cheese matcha and it is the best in the game!! Super high quality matcha, not too much ice and the cheese topping adding just the perfect amount of savory creamy goodness to the drink. Favorite matcha place in all of Portland and the metro area!“
“10/10, honestly best breakfast I’ve had in Portland so far! Perfect brisket hash with peppers, amazing biscuit with jam (better than the big bfast places here) and to top it all off this place is cheap! Amazing work folks, you’re killing it. I’ll definitely be back!“
“This place is fantastic. This was our first visit. The customer ahead of us was giddy to recommend their house made vanilla syrup for our coffee drink and the “wicked awesome” sandwich. We aren’t vegetarians but he was so insistent that we changed our order to a vanilla latte ( which was divine) and the recommended sandwich. Service was efficient and friendly. The sandwich was a generous serving with a lot of flavor. It managed to avoid being dry without being greasy. 10/10 would do again.Vegetarian options: Plenty to choose from for the veggie friendly crowd.“
“SERIOUSLY THE BEST!!! Not only is the Kombucha the best I’ve ever had, the CBD is a must have as well!! I just had surgery and wasn’t feeling fabulous when I arrived at the Farmers Market yesterday. I tried the amazing Kombucha with a shot of the CBD and I literally felt amazing by the time I left and STILL have no pain!! THANK YOU! Sincerely, Customer for Life!!! ❤️“
“Nice, chill coffee shop. They have a small drink menu and pastry options. The coffee has solid flavor & barista did a good job. Some indoor seating. I esp like their attached & covered outdoor seating setup. A great spot to sit and enjoy a drink semi-insight with the pup.“
“Ordered with Door Dash. The Lux Stack club-style sandwich and small assorted pastry box arrived quickly. Items were adorably presented in pink and white boxes — closed with a sticker predicting, “you’ve got good taste.”It was true! The sandwich was delicious, and the side salad greens perfectly dressed in a sweet and tangy vinaigrette. If ordering delivery, definitely take a chance on assorted pastries. The staff picked out a flaky, delicately frosted scone and the most delicious mini coffee cake ever. It came wrapped in paper like a muffin, and the tender cake was marbled with just the right amount of cinnamon brown-sugar filling.“
“I've only been here twice but each time was such a good experience, I can't wait to go back! Excellent food with rotating specialties, kind and affable staff and delicious coffee. You wouldn't think it would feel as nice as it does looking on the outside (the space used to be a Starbucks) but it is quite pleasant! I highly recommend checking it out. I am delightfully surprised each time I'm here!“
“The Caprese sandwhich is delectable! The pesto sauce they use on it tastes homemade; and if it’s not, well it fooled me. The coffee is also great and the vibe is super cute. I will definitely be back.Dietary restrictions: Alternative milk and vegetarian options.“
“This is a priceless little secret in Sellwood! The food is so delicious. Fresh and fun. The staff are friendly and welcoming and very accommodating. It's very cute inside, but prepare to wait during prime times. Was there today for the first time. I'll be back“
“This is my current favorite coffee shop! I love the GF Brazilian Cheese waffles, as someone with Celiac, I am just so very happy to have these when I go to Nossa (please keep them forever!)!!!! My favorite beverage is the Golden Milk Latte. The staff are always so kind and helpful. A genuinely lovely atmosphere and super tasty beverages!“
“I love this place! It’s fast and convenient. You pay the same amount you would at a Starbucks/ popular chain but get wayy better quality and inventive foods/ drinks. Plus you’re supporting local! The owner is also very sweet. 100% recommend.“
“Happen to discover this place picking up an order for door dash. So I decided to give it a shot when I was off work. The donuts were all yummy. Got a big variety to sample, and then the baker in the back gave me a glazed donut. My lord, dare I say I loved it better than Krispy Kreme. It was delicious. Also, try the pistachio one. Loved that one. Definitely give this place a go.“
“Do not tell anybody about this super awesome coffee spot! Hand crafted coffee drinks and teas featuring Super Joy Coffee Roasters small batch speciality coffees. On mu most recent visit I got a pepper mocha and it was fabulous. Do yourself a favor and get a coffee now. No regrets. Promise. Just don't tell not no one.“
“I really enjoyed the cool vibes of this coffeehouse. My cappuccino was good as well. The only thing missing for me was customer service. The staff wasn't very engaging, but if you just want to chill and grab a good coffee, this is a good spot.“
“The atmosphere was more like a bar than a breakfast place, maybe because it was a rainy and dark day outside. The interior is spacious and there are no booth seats, only long counters or table seats. We ordered clam chowder, Reuben, and avocado Benedict. Everything was well-cooked and delicious, but the clam chowder was too salty for us.“
“I ordered the Mexican Hot chocolate with almond milk made with the chocolate from Vietnam. It's rich with some spice to it and not just hot.My wife got the chocolate chill. It was super good! This has been the best drinking chocolate experience I've had by far.Highly recommend it.“
“We’re so happy to have found this spot. The cart is a short walk from the farmer’s market. He said he’s been there 10 years!! The owner clearly cares for his community and shows this by encouraging a “pay it forward”process as well as using local businesses to source his offerings. Great spicy chai~ thanks so much!! I didn’t see the pastries but will certainly be back to give those a try (you had me at best almond croissant ever Jonathon Perez! ?)“
“Had a wonderful experience. Every employee was happy, helpful and kind. The owners were present and working right alongside their employees. We need more small businesses that are like this. It definitely helped that the food was great as well.“
“Nice small little coffee shop that shares the building entrance. Right next to the flower shop . Very european looking place. In house coffee blends . Strong Macchiato.Great French pastries ? , sandwiches & coffee .only 8 seats btw .Parking: only metered parking , it’s not a big place only 8 seats .“
“WOWZA!!! I just bought lunch and I am so happy I found this place!! The food was so delicious I thought I was back in Maui again. I would rate 1,000 stars if I could. Absolutely amazing!! Ohana Hawaiian Cafe is #1!!!Wow wow wow!! I’m speechless, can you tell?Parking: Easy! No sweat!Kid-friendliness: Take your kiddos, they’d love it too.Wheelchair accessibility: Super easy and flat area. I would think a wheelchair would be able to get inside without having any issues. It is worth it.“
“This was an amazing find in a city filled with coffee shops. There was nothing stuffy about the place and the service was impeccable. We sat in the window and watched locals stroll in greeted by first name... and we were treated just like we were daily customers as well. If you’re in Portland and you’re near 40 LBS make it a stop!“
“In my opinion, this is the best coffee you'll find in Portland. Typical of a third-wave roaster, Heart take time to understand the best way to roast and brew coffee. Their pastries come from Nuvrei, the best French baker in town, in my opinion. But Heart's cappuccino steals the show every time. Every barista does it so perfectly that this sets the bar for what ALL coffee should be like.“
“Awesome family, friendly restaurant. There's a spacious feel to the restaurant and it is laid out so uniquely. There's fish tanks and a kid's play corner (so children can play while they wait for the food or after they are done eating). The service was friendly and the food was DELICIOUS! We got the orange chicken and the shrimp ramen and everything tasted amazing! Our little kid was super happy toddling around & we all had a great time! Definitely will be back!“
“I went here for the first time for a much needed play date with my other mom friend. It was wonderful to be able to sit and visit and have our babies be occupied with fun things to do. It was also great to be served wonderful coffee and my friend had a mimosa. I will definitely be visiting again, that 16oz white mocha with an extra shot was so good, I had two when I visited.Vegetarian options: They have a full separate menu, but I didn't really look at it.Kid-friendliness: There is a pretty big play area for kids with a ball pit and slide. They also have a play kitchen and play Stanley work bench for kids. Theirs also fun little toys for little babies as well. There's a small kids menu with breakfast items and lunch.“
“Sweet, pun intended, little Saturday pop-up shop attached to the Brooklyn neighborhood’s new production bakery, Flour Market. They freshly bake and serve up delicious breads, pastry, cookies and delicious cold-brew coffee. As the world returns to normal I believe they’ll be open more often for walk-ups during the week but for now it’s easy to pre-order through their website, FB or IG accounts. You’ll be more than glad you did.“
“Today, simply looking for a change of pace, decided to try the Hello Cafe for my post-morning walk breakfast. It was a great choice! I had a breakfast bagel, with egg, bacon & sausage, and it tasted every bit as good as it looked! And filling as well, the bagel was toasted just right and the bacon was just the right amount of crispy....absolutely delicious!I drink black coffee only, and the cup that I was served was just perfect ! Hands down the best tasting coffee in Milwaukie, I don't know and didn't ask what blend it was, but it was not overly strong like most major chains serve, but just right, a delightful morning eye-opener!As to the service, three words come to mind: courteous, helpful, friendly, and kind ! Yes, that's four words, but I can't say enough about how nice the folks are who run Hello Cafe !I look forward to returning and trying the rest of the menu!“
“11:40a on a MondayThere are three tables, all occupied. We order the Inari, a Norimaki, and a Miso Soup. We eat the first two standing at a small bar. Then a table by the window frees up and we enjoy the miso soup there. It's all so good. We then get the three Dango to finish, and order a couple of coffee drinks and a Canele to go with them.Delicious flavors, unique atmosphere. The whole experience is delightful. Thank you!“
“I love taking customers here for a casual but authentic meal. I always suggest we try different things and share and it’s a lot of fun , with the guidance of the servers , helping us adventure eat! Serving size is ample, the price is reasonable for what you get, and we almost always take home leftovers Recently, I forgot to get a receipt and didn’t realize it for a month until my expense report was due. The staff and management was so kind and helpful and got me the documentation I needed very quickly-I now appreciate them even more!“
“This place is a bit deceiving. I've eaten here a few times since my dad has dr visits here often. I love when we come around lunch time, because their daily specials are always on point.I'm always a little nervous when there's a long line, because I expect the wait time to be too long, but it never is. I love that they have real dishes and silverware if you're dining in, but also have the option of to go boxes and plastic ware. I've never ordered anything on their regular menu because the specials are always amazing, so I can't say anything to the menu items. I never pass up a chance to have lunch here“
“This is a fairly small coffee cafe that specializes in CBD and natural wellness based drinks and products. When we walked in we noticed it’s a little difficult to walk to the area to look at their coffee, plant based protein and CBD products. However, it was totally cool because slowing down and looking at it makes it all the better and it was worth it. We ordered a dirty chai and a mocha, and x2 of the #1 turkey crescent. It took about 15 minutes and there were 7 people ahead of us. They served us drinks before our food was ready and we enjoyed it in front of the building where there were some seats. We were hiding out from the sun because it as 90 degrees outside and I finished by drink quickly. I went back to check on my food and they gave me a refill without asking ?? It has a nice small business feel. I really felt like when it says “Moms soup” mom is making it for me. Terrific customer service, aesthetic, and feeling. Thank you Apothecary, we were visiting from San Diego and it was a lovely visit.“
“Shared a waffle and classic eggs breakfast with a friend and honestly the waffle was the star of the show. No frills or crazy add ons just a perfectly made tasty waffle. The place itself was cute and had a self serve coffee station. The waitress was super friendly and provided excellent service too!“
“I had a great experience. There was no wait for a seat which is a nice treat in Portland. The cafe is right on the water front so it was a great view of the river. The cafe was clean and tables were tended to quickly as people left to make room for others. The coffee was good and I really enjoyed my food. Everything was cooked perfectly. I ordered the sweet breakfast which allowed me to taste the flavorful pancakes. I was pleased that they came with the sweet cream and a bit of fruit. The bacon was on point and cooked perfectly. One friend ordered the Salmon bagel sandwich and it looked really good. I think I will try that next time. Another friend got a dish that had the potatoes. She really liked the potatoes and the other person with us agreed they were good.Everyone was so friendly that worked there. I will absolutely be coming back and recommend this gem to others.“
“I enjoyed both my cappuccino and my breakfast muffin sandwich with sausage. There are two very comfortable rattan chairs to sit and enjoy. Friendly and prompt service, and friendly regulars as well. A nice place.Vegetarian options: Breakfast sandwich with egg and cheese.“
“It’s Portland, so be ready for not great service, but the cappuccino is amazing! The mocha is also highly recommended.Great atmosphere, seating, and decorations. The entrance is through the hotel.Parking: Mostly street parking and pay during most hours.“
“Took the husband out for birthday breakfast to W&G today. First time here and it won’t be the last. Best biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had. What a hidden gem. I’ve driven past it a bunch of times. Wonderful crew and awesome atmosphere. There were people playing cards, lots on computers and some having company meetings. Great mesh of people.“
“Love this local spot! They use the best chai (Dragonfly) and have both spicy and sweet options - or ask them to mix it like I do for the perfect balance. Great vibe, amazing baristas who have turned my day around several times, delicious gluten free treat options. Plus they support the local community in so many ways and have handmade gifts for sale as well!“
“Super flavorful vegan food! This was tricky to find because it’s inside a business building but was well worth the hunt! the food was extremely flavorful, wonderful textures, fresh and healthy, and the portion was extremely generous (I saved half for dinner later). I got the Chickpea Bowl: curried cauliflower and chickpeas over brown rice with tahini rubbed kale, pickled red onions, all covered in an absolutely amazing mint chutney. I added tempeh for some extra protein and it was also delicious. The entire menu was vegan and most things can be made without nuts (I’m allergic so that was a welcome adjustment). HIGHLY recommended! Food was prepared freshly and quickly. Only drawback was the mall/business office like atmosphere but since I took my food back to my hotel it wasn’t a big issue“
“I bought some of their coffee from the grocery store and it was sooo good I ordered some for my whole family for the holidays. Their online store service was great, and I got some of the Wizard Brew for myself. This is my favorite! And it comes in a cool can that I will pass down to my grandchildren.“
“I ordered a salmon rice ball (forgot to take photo) and a strawberry matcha latte with boba ? the salmon rice ball was super good and I immediately wished I had ordered two. The matcha is wonderful as well! Ordered it half sweet and it was perfect to me, I would imagine full sweetness would be more like a dessert to me. You can tell the tea they use it's high quality. The staff are also very friendly and knowledgeable about the product“
“Definitely worth stopping in, especially if you’re at Powell’s. True to Portland tradition the coffee and espresso drinks are excellent. Be patient they might be a little slow in preparation. Pastries fresh made in house and a must try.“
“I'm in town for work and was so happy when I found out that they had a black rock coffee bar as I found this company while i was working in texas and most definitely prefer it over other companies. This location has great customer service.“
“This was a pleasant surprise. It was much more casual than I had expected. I don't know how long they've had the coffee shop there. It seemed a bit disorganized and they were out of several things I asked about. All in all my drink was delicious and the people there had great customer service.“
“Nice breakfast and comfortable food. Nice outdoor patio during warm summer days, and cozy fire place indoors for those chilly winter moments. A lil bit pricey for what it offers, though.Parking: Large parking lot, always available spotsWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible.“
