“I wanted this to be 5-star so bad. The food was outstanding, service was ok. We got brunch instead of the full tea service. Upon ordering, we were told that in the afternoon, breakfast items on the ‘brunch’ menu are not available. It also took an hour+ and when served, we were told brunch was second priority. If it’s not a true brunch nor priority, why offer it? These are both items I would have appreciated knowing before making an expensive brunch reservation.“

“I stopped at a great little place and had a large French Roast coffee and a breakfast sandwich ham egg and cheese on a fresh croissant. 2 min and I was enjoying a great sandwich at a great value. I met Joo and he was very friendly. They are pet friendly with free dog treats. Enjoy staying and eat inside or sit outside below large very impressive trees that I am sorry I can’t tell you the species.
Anyway stop by and enjoy a quick bite and coffee. He also has an espresso machine to make anything to rival a Starbucks but at much better price point.“

“Such great wraps and sandwiches! This has become my go-to spot for picking up lunch. This is a tiny little kiosque-style cafe in the middle of a large office building. The service is excellent! They have always been efficient and prompt. Highly recommend.“

“Breakfast at Cameos to start our day touring Portland. Cute little place with good coffee, serve and food. Hubby had the Marcia Special which came with biscuits and gravy,hashbrowns and he added 2 overeasy eggs. He said the gravy was good but the biscuits were a little mushy. I had the senior which came with one egg, a huge hot cake and 2 strips of bacon. Bacon was nice and crispy. Good meal to start our busy day.“

“Wow! We have been fans of Dean's Homestyle Cafe for many years. When the new owner's took it over this year, we were concerned about whether the comfortable, flavorful, "homestyle" experience we were used to would remain. The new team has done great! The staff is super friendly and working hard to make people feel welcome, learning names of regulars, and carrying on a place with a great reputation. The food is still excellent with super generous, well prepared portions and very reasonable prices. Well done!“

“We stopped by on Saturday night at 4:30 P.M. A little social media birdie had told me that they were open for dinner from 4:30PM to 9 PM on Friday and Saturdays (make sure to check their website for earlier hours). It’s a cute little spot. Lots of local art on the walls for sale and lots of seating. You can tell they make everything from scratch and you can follow the smoky and tantalizing smells of barbecue right to the door. My friend and I shared the deviled eggs with the bacon lardon-🤤-so good! Flavorful and tender. My friend got the polenta bowl with greens and brisket. I tried a bite and it was delicious! I had the mac & cheese with chicken and bacon lardon topped with breadcrumbs. Tender pasta and bacon and smoked chicken in a creamy sauce-yum! We ordered house red and white wines and both were great selections. We also took three of their dessert selections home for later. The location is a little off the beaten path, but I think it would be worth it for you to come on in and support this local business. I know that my friend and I will be back.“

“they make my absolute favorite espresso ~ they roast their beans themselves + they do it DELICIOUSLY ! it's always full bodied + flavorful + balanced + round(?) (idk it feels balanced + full), never ever acidic nor bitter.

when i've bought beans to make in my moka pot at they have consistently been the best i've ever made at home + their espresso drinks in house are my favorite i've had !!! ~ their cortados are rich + full with beautiful crema + their lavender iced lattes are so flavorful (all their flavored drinks are ! i'm just personally obsessed with the lavender) + i very literally moan aloud at how delicious it is every time i take my first (+ second + third + every other) sip.

mindy + keith (the owners) + their dog osha (??? i think i'm spelling it wrong) are sweethearts + sooo welcoming + loving towards dogs !!! the other baristas are too ! when my doggie can tell we are walking to the cafe, she gets excited from blocks away, knowing she's gonna get to see her friends (the humans + her doggie friend)

the space is big + open, warm + welcoming with lots of different kinds of cozy seating ~ a wooden bar at the window is so nice for reading / journaling / computer work (there's plugs) / just gazing outside at the view. there's a big cushy cozy couch which is super snuggly with a large table. there's a built in wrap around bench seat with multiple tables (one with a chess board!) that's easy to sit in solo, with your pup, or as a group ~ it's super adaptable +++ a big group table in back + lots of two seater tables all along the art covered wall

the entry is framed with plants + they always have local art rotating through + it's such a good atmosphere to be in ☕️
