“It'd be tough to imagine a better ice cream shop. This place had a line 20 people at the door so we knew it would be worth trying. We were able to get in pretty quickly, and were instantly met with you recognizable aroma of hot, fresh waffle cones. The ambience makes it feel a little bit more upscale, but the staff is so friendly and makes it a fun and casual place to get some delicious ice cream. They let me sample almost every flavor and seemed excited that I wanted to keep trying. They serve a wide variety of classic and more non-traditional flavors. I ended up getting a scoop of olive oil and a scoop of their special cookie dough, but would have been delighted with all of the options. They were all lusciously creamy, and the flavors were excellent!“
“New menu means new items, possibly too many? The maramen was extremely spicy! If you can't handle ghost pepper heat, I wouldn't try it. It laterally gave me heartburn! The karaage (Japanese fried chicken) was burnt and definitely tasted it. But the tonkatsu ramen was perfect. And of course the service is always good here.“
“Super cute spot in Westlake off the beaten path. The wine is wonderful and the owner is so nice and accommodating. My husband and I dipped really quick while our son was at basketball practice, and she was doing a wine tasting event, and even though her event was full and we didn't have reservations, she encouraged us to say, and I'm so glad she did. We learned a LOT about wine that night, and we got to take home some delicious new wine.“
“I’m not sure if Tyler is part of your location, but whoever the Safeway Tyler was at Safeway today was a complete champ. Me and my buddies totally bought some and he gave us a few laughs while trying out the beer. Thanks breakside and thanks Tyler!!“
“BIG BIG FAN HERE!! Where do I start?! Their wine selections are unique and phenomenal! The food is ALWAYS fresh and delicious (and QUALITY ingredients)! And the vibe is off the charts! Always welcoming, relaxing, and vibrant! Thank you for being just what not only Lake Oswego NEEDED, but also the entire Portland metro area and beyond!! “
“Driving from California, needed fuel, missed the turn, went over freeway, turned around, stopped at a gas station, ready to get going again, saw dive bar, it said open on the sign, went in, everybody watching sports, didnt realize it was sunday cause driving 3 days, nice girl", approaches us as we just sat ourselves cause we were just tired, asks if we'd like something, mentioned a special, brought my beer quickly as i traded driving with my friend, "A very large Stella Draft?, had wings, tipped her well,AND THEN ...ON THE ROAD AGAIN...Home.Perfect place, clean, better than good food, atmosphere was easy, all types were in there. That's the mark of a good place.. check it out..“
“It was a Sunday and I know you’re very busy but we had to ask multiple times for regular coffee and condiments. The food was great but just be aware there can be a long delay in getting it. Adults no problem but you have kiddos it was a long wait.“
“This was my first time seeing a film at the Lake Theater, although I have been previously to see live music. I adore the cozy modern vibe of the space, the comfortable seating, and the little touches of humor throughout the decor.Unfortunately the food does not live up to the clever and appealing ingredient lists on the menu (or the pricing). The burger and salads we ordered were surprisingly bland, although the parmesan oregano fries were more flavorful. The thing that really puzzled me was the food system during the movie. Orders are signaled as ready by a puck with bright flashing blue lights. In the first 20 minutes of the movie, there are a lot of orders that become ready and are super distracting. Compounding this, there is a walkway and exit in the upper section that many people use to pick up food and return to their seats. This is close enough to the ceiling that anyone using it blocks the projectors path to the screen and hides part of the movie from the entire theater (including subtitles).I’m leaving a five star review here since I like what the place is aiming for, but the owners could certainly improve the experience greatly with a few tweaks.“
“This was a great meal! I had the yellow curry which was very good and others loved the pad Thai and green curry dishes. But I’m leaving a review for the nice service! I didn’t expect to be waited on at a place where you order and pay at the register but they cleaned the tables, brought us waters+drinks, meals, and went above and beyond after ordering and sitting down to make sure we had everything we needed for our party of 9 last Saturday afternoon“
“We had latte caramello and cappuccino vienese. I wasn't expecting the level of goodness from the creamy whip topping. We enjoyed a sunny Saturday wine testing on Feb 11. Eight tasteful varieties at $20 per person. There are plenty of choices to purchase and take home. The next event is March 11We visited again on Feb 25. Two more great coffees to go and a treat to watch it come together.“
“Hidden sanctuary in Lake Oswego! The back patio wasn't amazing but it was definitely a decent place to have a snack and sit in the sun. I was impressed with the menu. Lots of Hawaiian braised meats, and their Mac salad and coleslaw was incredible! Service was a little bit slow but no big deal. I will definitely be back. What can we do?“
“Stopped in because of Portland Mercury Sandwich Week. They were offering the Kimcheesesteak sandwich. It was ok, what i beleive was American cheese didn't quite work for me. Also had the lettuce wraps, where the ground chicken filling was very tasty! Enjoyed the service, very friendly. The restaurant has 2 garage roll up doors that they can open when it's warmer out. They also have a nice bar. I'd definitely consider going back to try some of their other menu items.Parking: There is more parking on the side of the building“
“Duke’s in LO is consistently fantastic. Food is on-point (especially the Birria tacos), beers and ciders are great - but ultimately it’s about service. Jocelyn is always our favorite but everyone is wonderful. And because of their awesome Instagram posts, we knew they’d be open (even during the snowstorm - when everywhere else was closed). Love Duke’s.“
“If you visit downtown Lake Oswego, this is one of my favorite bakeries. Not to mention that it has a great music, Frank Sinatra is playing currently in the background, but it does remind you of walking into a French café. Although they're open all day, my recommendation is always going in before 1 PM. Before 11AM will always be busy, so expect to wait, it's worth it. The earlier you go at the more fresh everything is that's the way of the bakeries!“
“Vegetarian options: This is a favorite dinner spot for us. The staff are always friendly and upbeat which makes for a great atmosphere. They have incredible tacos and a great menu overall. You can't really go wrong with anything on it. My wife claims the mushroom fajitas are the best vegetarian dish in town.“
“This little breakfast cafe is stellar. Great location right off of i5. Super clean, friendly staff, and delicious food and drinks. Here are the highlights:Love the kolaches!!! The kielbasa one is my kids favorite.-I ? the honey spice latte.-There is an awesome toy corner and I saw the owner wipe them down after some kids played with them.-Also has a great big table that would be perfect for a study group or coworking session.Vegetarian options: The sweet kolaches were all vegetarian, and there was an egg and cheese kolache that was vegetarian as a savory option.Dietary restrictions: Clear communication about allergens was availableKid-friendliness: Great toy corner!“
