“Richie was our server and he took great care of us. From the moment we were seated he overheard us talking about it being a little warm and said he agreed and asked if we'd like some air conditioning to help improve the temperature. Then he quickly got our order and brought out the salad and bread sticks. We had the never ending pasta bowls, and he recommended ordering a side of alfredo sauce for our bread sticks. Amazing recommendation, we loved it so much we had to order more bread sticks because it was so good. Then, a huge birthday group showed up of about 10-12 people and despite him helping them, he kept rushing over to us to make sure we were still good. Kept our refills coming, our cups full, and gave us a good reason to come back. Perfect service.“

“Tucci has a vast menu with options galore and reasonable prices. The service has always been excellent. They have a policy of no corkage fee so bring a bottle of wine with you! The only downside is the restaurant can be quite noisy, so be aware.“

Note There is almost always a wait bc it’s a small place. There is a cute wine bar next door where you can get a glass and appetizer while you wait. We love Luce!“

“Our first visit to No Saint and definitely not our last. Clean cool inside with just enough decor to make you feel a little fancy. A wall of wine to choose from, good music and great staff. We had olives and cherries, bread, wine, pizza and dessert. All of it felt special and intentional with a lot of thought and love in to each item. I recommend a visit. We got there right when they opened and got a table right away. They do take reservations and probably is suggested later in the evening.“

“I’ve been here dozens and dozens of times — often with clients from out of state or overseas. EVERYONE loves this restaurant! Three time (that I know of) nationally recognized award winning restaurant. One of the famous national magazines rated it #2 vegan Italian restaurant in the country! (The best place in New York City came in 3rd!!!) You can greet most any customer and they will immediately smile and comment on how crazy good every dish is. The staff is extremely competent… especially when every table is taken and there is a brief waiting list… they stay happy, friendly, they don’t rush anyone… I have no idea how they stay so composed when the restaurant is hopping! The staff is always delightful. The owners are usually there working, smiling and friendly. That makes the experience even more special. I like being there for more than the food… the pleasure of the other customers even those new to the restaurant is contagious. “This is my favorite restaurant in Portland. I finally went into the restaurant after hearing about it for so long and every single time I’ve been here, I’ve had the most exquisite food with ample portions and the most satiating flavors of Italian food and wine that you could get in Portland. It is comfort food at its finest with the best local ingredients and everything is off The chart delicious. I’ve had the pizza, I’ve had pasta, and I’ve had steak twice. Everything is delicious and I can’t get enough of it. The decanting of the wine, the sides to the bread with olives and oil/vinegar. Every single thing I eat, seems to be at the highest level of ingredients with a lot of attention to detail put into everything. The vibe of the place with the uplifting atmosphere, the decor and the righteously amazing vibes of Chrissie the head bartender…makes me keep coming back for birthdays and special occasions. I actually don’t eat out very much with fast food or takeout because I save my money for this place. I can spend $20 at Taco Bell or I could spend $20 here and usually go home very full with leftovers. Chrissie can make the most delicious concoctions and she literally looks like she’s creating something magical when she comes up with something new. Her cocktails are on point yet she’s always innovating her craft. Attention to detail for every single drink. The best recommendations for what they have that night. She informed me that they bake their bread fresh every day. Foods are sourced locally and every single dish makes me want more. I’m trying to get some variety in what I order yet. The steak does it for me every time. The pizza is the best I’ve had in town and sooooo good. I’m very picky about pizza as it’s my favorite food yet this crust and the delicious cheese and greens and everything they put into their pizza is so tasty. The flavor of every single thing I have eaten makes me want to have it again and again and again. If the Italians that I know in my community, make this a regular spot, then I also know it’s good! It’s authentic righteously on point delicious food every single time I go. All my people come with me to this restaurant for special occasions. Do yourself a favor and visit Cibo! If somebody’s coming in from out of town… Take them to Cibo! To celebrate my children’s accomplishments, I take them to Cibo! I already have two reservation reservations for the first week of January and I went there last night. It’s this good! A lot of people post pictures of the food there and I’ve had every dish that I’ve seen online… But what means the most to me about this place is the whole experience of bringing My special people here to experience, uplifting vibes, delicious and exquisite food, the most incredible drinks, and an atmosphere that takes us out of our daily life and gives us such joy and pleasure to experience. Seriously. Just eat here once and you’ll know.“

I didn't try a representative sample of the food, so it could be that everything else is good. The food was very fresh/high quality. Ordered the octopus. It leaned into bitter/charred/salty flavors so heavily, which the tomato-based salsa couldn't counterbalance, that I decided to move on rather than roll the dice twice on some mussels.“

Delicious carbonara that was well sauced and a perfect texture. The rabbit agnolotti was divine with flavor, texture and subtlety. Rounded out with a classic and tiramisu that was the perfect size and texture. Waitstaff was very attentive and helpful, while giving us space to linger. Even though it was a busy Friday night they seemed to handle the rush well. Only small suggestion would be a more interesting amaro flight to go with dessert. But we’ll be back!“

It seems like a bunch of new kitschy spots trying to emulate this style that has been held here for the last 25 plus years here at Denicolas. “My daughter and I went to Adelleda for brunch on Sunday and it was fabulous. Each item on the menu was so enticing we had a hard time choosing. The Honus Wagner, chicken and waffle style fried oyster mushrooms over waffles with truffle syrup, was incredible. Ultra crispy mushrooms paired so well with the syrup and waffles. The Bobby Bonilla beet pastrami sandwich was a many layered flavor bomb. Such a great play of textures and spices. And Mr. 350 was the best version of chilaquiles I have ever had. Better than any in Tucson. We got to sample brioche straight from the oven and are still dreaming about it. Slathered in house made vegan butter and, no shame, dunked in that truffle syrup. There Will Be Blood was a mighty fine Bloody Mary but the Pina Caliente blew my cocktail loving mind. Smokey from the mezcal, spicy and smooth as pineapple silk. Huge kudos to the mixologist!!! The atmosphere was lovely and chill and the service made us feel special. A real gem!!!!“

We had a lovely locally sourced steak that melted in the mouth for $32.
