I don't eat at Italian restaurants, since I am Italian and am always disappointed. But I just went to Allora for the first time and will definitely be coming back. I still wouldn't trust cannolis from anywhere besides Connecticut/New York though, so luckily they have a nice panna cotta!!
Love this place in the summer. It's the perfect location for outdoor eating. Allora is tiny and tends to get loud inside. The seasonal options are always wonderful, and if you can't decide, the four cheese gnocchi never fails to satisfy. The only thing that keeps this from five stars besides the lack of seating? May I recommend a new pastry chef? Cannolis are not meant to be soft and lifeless. Take a page put of Mike's in Boston. The Gelato is sad and weepy. I always forget after...read full review
