“Great experience. Had the bread and butter, duck confit, and orange cake. Duck confit was not super warm when served which was the only downside. However it fell apart, was flavorful, and had crispy skin like it should - so it was still very good... just wish it'd been warmer. The orange cake is delicious. The caramelized torched top gives it a crack and nice structure. Everything was well presented. Outstanding kitchen staff attention to detail. Server was lovely - non intrusive but very attentive. The server also provided other restaurant recommendations for my stay in Portland. The setting itself is also lovely. It's intimate but quiet. Would come back - great food and experience.“

“Our first visit to No Saint and definitely not our last. Clean cool inside with just enough decor to make you feel a little fancy. A wall of wine to choose from, good music and great staff. We had olives and cherries, bread, wine, pizza and dessert. All of it felt special and intentional with a lot of thought and love in to each item. I recommend a visit. We got there right when they opened and got a table right away. They do take reservations and probably is suggested later in the evening.“

She chatted cheerfully with us while she busily poured drinks for others and then introduced us to her two sons and a son’s girlfriend, who all also work there. Everyone was so friendly and kind! When our table was ready, Michelle thanked us for being there and said that it was great to meet us. At our table, we ordered another half dozen oysters, a caesar salad, a couple more beers, and two big bowls of cioppino. “I’m Mexican…..and I’ve been a harsh critic of tacos in Portland. This place hands down has the best tacos. I’m just speaking of what they do specifically. They perfected it. Handmade yellow corn tortillas, perfectly cooked meats. Even the potatoe taquitos are amazing.“

The pita was soft, closer to a fluffy flour tortilla, and the sandwiches we had that came in a pita were actually wrapped in a trifolded pita and pressed like a panini. The felafel were big and delicious. The baklava was in a orange blossom syrup and was perfect. The service was personable and on point. It’s on an active block of N Williams, so it’s a fun area to walk around before/after. Highly recommended.“

“I went to Bar Loon with my daughters. We sat in an outdoor area, picnic bench style seating. I got the hotdog- super big and very tasty. The onions on top were cooked down to a sweet n tasty topping which paired so well with the salty hotdog, and a wonderful soft bun. My daughter had the double cheeseburger which looked amazing as well. The staff were very friendly. Self serve water outside which was convenient & fresh. Lots of seating inside & out. “This is a cute place with a great bartender. The reason I'm going with 4 stars: When I walked in, due to reflections on the glass door I couldn't see inside. I opened the door and RIGHT THERE at chest level was the massive head of a giant black dog, about a foot in front of me. I'm not exaggerating - I am very short and this was a mastiff or something. His head was twice the size of a human head. I froze. I have been attacked by dogs before and this was a terrifying experience. It was soon clear that the dog was very chill and only wanted to say hello, but it's not ok to have customers surprised like that.“
