“My first time experiencing this gem of a place. I came to perform music on thier great live music stage, and went in to grab a sandwich before my band the "Desert Moondogs" started playing. I have lived in New York for many years and experienced the best deli sandwiches there, and was beyond surprised and happy with the Tigard Beach Hut Deli offerings. By far the best deli on the West Coast and even rivaled some of my favorite places in New York. If your anywhere near this eatery be it for food or music, make a stop...you won't be disappointed! “Legitimately some of the best pizza I've had in Portland, and that's coming from someone who's been to almost all of the heavy-hitters in town. Tastes obviously vary, but I don't think anyone who likes wood-fired pizza will leave disappointed.
We started with the fresh baked palloncino bread, which was warm & delightfully chewy with a subtle lemony bite. However, it was super salty (and I say this a habitual over-salter). Thankfully the flaky finishing salt was easy to brush off, which tamed the saltiness. We also had the Belgian endive caesar. The crisp endive mixed well with the creamy dressing & the croutons were out of this world (not shocking, really).
For pizzas, we had the leek & hazelnut and the salami supremo. While the cheese and toppings were top notch, the doughy crust was the star. Perfectly charred, yet soft and chewy. Just excellent.
The tiramisu we had for dessert was also very light and dare I say refreshing.
Service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere left something to be desired, but wasn't bad & didn't diminish the experience at all. Just maybe not quite up to par with other places in that price range.

“February 8th, 2026 menu & service was absolutely divine! Start to finish service and all staff present were absolutely charming and very attentive. Presentation was beautiful, the atmosphere felt very warm, cozy and inviting. Plates were absolutely stunning in all ways. The textures in each dish were just so perfect, exciting and unique. The flavors complimented each other so well and each course was perfectly balanced, flowing nicely into the next. Everything was absolutely perfect, the thrill of enjoying such technical yet plant based preperations genuinly brings tears of joy. Thank you so for so perfectly encapsulating the possibilities of plant based foods! 💚💚 We were happy to hear about the recipes staying and going from the menu, we couldn't agree more with the choices. The Kombucha pairings were magical. Meadowland was perfect. “We were there for the first time on the evening of January 10, 2026. We sat at the bar for a bit because we were a little early for our reservation. Michelle brought us a couple of beers and we ordered a plate of six oysters. She chatted cheerfully with us while she busily poured drinks for others and then introduced us to her two sons and a son’s girlfriend, who all also work there. Everyone was so friendly and kind! When our table was ready, Michelle thanked us for being there and said that it was great to meet us. At our table, we ordered another half dozen oysters, a caesar salad, a couple more beers, and two big bowls of cioppino. Absolutely delicious with the large, thick slices of freshly-made garlic bread for dunking. This place is a true gem. Four generation of family working there and their love for the place and what they do shows. Can’t wait to go back!!“

“Delicious. Syrian/Lebanese - the flavors were smoother/softer than I’m used to. The pita was soft, closer to a fluffy flour tortilla, and the sandwiches we had that came in a pita were actually wrapped in a trifolded pita and pressed like a panini. The felafel were big and delicious. The baklava was in a orange blossom syrup and was perfect. The service was personable and on point. It’s on an active block of N Williams, so it’s a fun area to walk around before/after. Highly recommended.“

“I went to Bar Loon with my daughters. We sat in an outdoor area, picnic bench style seating. I got the hotdog- super big and very tasty. The onions on top were cooked down to a sweet n tasty topping which paired so well with the salty hotdog, and a wonderful soft bun. My daughter had the double cheeseburger which looked amazing as well. The staff were very friendly. Self serve water outside which was convenient & fresh. Lots of seating inside & out. “The Gibson came into the village surrounded by an assortment of other bars and knocked it out of the park. They carved out a perfect niche that didn’t exist and has become a fast neighborhood staple. The atmosphere, staff and quality of product never disappoints.

I never say that about restaurants, but I want everyone to know about Ruk Diew Cafe! the food was fresh ND so good. the coconut prawns were tender and flavorful, the fried tofu was crispy and the sauce yummy. “I would love to call Addy’s a “hidden” gem, but they are far too busy to ever be considered hidden! This cute sandwich shop is only open 4 hours a day, only Monday-Friday so if you want to try it you should plan to wait a bit for your food.

The wait is worth it however! They serve delicious sandwiches and salads, with generous portions for the price. I always enjoy checking what the daily sandwich and salad specials will be. They are usually creative, tasty, and healthy.

For me the tomato tapenade panini always hits the spot. They don’t skimp on the mozzarella! I usually get a turkey salad too, and it’s always chock full of cubed turkey and avocado.

The real pro tip here is to get some of the free sauces next to the water station. I love the green sauce they have. I would buy it by the bottle if I could!

The employees here are friendly! I mentioned that I wish I had gotten a side of the wild rice salad they had today, and the employee behind the register kindly gave me a sample!
