February 8th, 2026 menu & service was absolutely divine!
Start to finish service and all staff present were absolutely charming and very attentive.
Presentation was beautiful, the atmosphere felt very warm, cozy and inviting.
Plates were absolutely stunning in all ways.
The textures in each dish were just so perfect, exciting and unique.
The flavors complimented each other so well and each course was perfectly balanced, flowing nicely into the next.

I had a wonderful experience at Astera. The service was perfect. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly friendly and polished. Their somm was super helpful. The food was creative, cooked to perfection, and really flavorful. I would travel to Portland again just to eat here.
Had a pretty terrible experience on a guest chef night. The owner actually talked it out with me themselves and was very understanding of my complaints. I was enticed to come back and my party of 4 did come back <2 months later on a regular dining service night and….
