“Everything about this restaurant is homely and inviting. I love that the plates aren't gargantuan sized. They feel like a nice home cooked meal and you really don't need a takeout box. The service is fast and friendly, though we showed up right at 11AM to ensure we had seating! Food was delicious, and the dessert was good. If you plan to buy any pastries, do so before you sit! We waited until after we were done eating and literally within and hour of opening, all the fruit strudel was gone. I was heartbroken because that's why I went! Well I won't be making that mistake twice! Buy it before you sit! Great place and such fun!“

“Stellar ambience and amazing food. Ordered the small breakfast - eggs, bacon, toast, and potato wedges and it was all so, so good. The portion was perfectly filling. Staff was friendly and provided impeccable service. Surprisingly uncrowded for a Saturday afternoon. I loved the art on the walls and the playlist (mostly 90’s music).“

The background noise is minimal and the atmosphere inviting. As usual the choices we're all tempting which made the decision a little difficult. But I was not disappointed. My meal was excellent. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. He checked back frequently to make sure that our needs were met. I will be back again, and again!“

Olympia Provisions is such a perfect Portland restaurant, in that it's warm and inviting without feeling pretentious, and there is clearly immense talent and passion informing the menu and its execution. “This is a great first date place. The food presentation was outstanding. However, we felt it was a little blan. They use RC soda products here, which are flat at the bar but have carbonation if gotten from the back. Amazing happy hour!

“February 8th, 2026 menu & service was absolutely divine! Start to finish service and all staff present were absolutely charming and very attentive. Presentation was beautiful, the atmosphere felt very warm, cozy and inviting. Plates were absolutely stunning in all ways. The textures in each dish were just so perfect, exciting and unique. The flavors complimented each other so well and each course was perfectly balanced, flowing nicely into the next. Everything was absolutely perfect, the thrill of enjoying such technical yet plant based preperations genuinly brings tears of joy. Thank you so for so perfectly encapsulating the possibilities of plant based foods! 💚💚 We were happy to hear about the recipes staying and going from the menu, we couldn't agree more with the choices. The Kombucha pairings were magical. Meadowland was perfect. The respect payed to plants here, the absolutely mind blowing creativity that leaves you craving more, makes Astera stand out as a historical evolution for plant based flavor, technical creativity, creation, service and passion in the plant based realm in the U.S. Astera is heaven on earth. “Love love love this place. One a street where there has been a lot on construction changes and old buildings being torn down, this place has taken advantage of square footage in a home. Both covered and not covered outside seating areas. In door has a great bar! Customer Service is amazing, even when its busy. The Beer, fantastic! I tried all of them on tap. Bathrooms are large. Food was amazing! I highly recommend.“

I had the papermaker pale. Wow! Well poured, gold colored beauty, tastes like a beer dream, lightly piney on top, then a smoothly carbonated descent to hopville.. brilliant!
They treat you right at the Rudder, so close to the Willamette it probably barely stayed dry in ancient days. But they dont get you muddy. Kick back be patient they will row out to you.

“This place is the vibe. They set the tone for this neighborhood years ago and the cool kids never left. Beer, booze and food- all winning. Service is spot on. Porch seating, bar seating, dark corner seating, back patio seating..... pick a place and enjoy. Photo booth has super zoom- B&W is your friend.“

Our table was ready when we arrived and it was just perfect for our needs. The servers were extremely gracious and the food was delicious. Everyone in our party had a wonderful time, and those who were new to Radio Room said they would certainly be back. One of our very favorite restaurants in Portland!“

The elegant yet relaxed atmosphere was perfect for a leisurely meal with friends or family.“

“My son stopped at Bastions this past June 2025 and purchased 2 good sizes of your coffee cake. It was exceptional and so moist. We couldn't put our forks down! We're the ones who purchased a pecan pie from bastions last Christmas and a pumpkin pie last Thanksgiving. Both outstanding! Everything we've tried is excellent including the donuts.
