“Just fantastic! For one reason or another we couldn't go there last time we were in Portland. But we made it happen this time and it was delicious, delightful and just all around great. I enjoy meals made up of many small plates for sharing and that's what we did. We threw some nice vodkas in the mix and were very happy with our experience. The service was very nice as well.“
“From start to finish our experience here was perfect. The staff are so friendly and focused you will never be without anything you need. The food is beyond delicious and the presentation is beautiful. They are able to but together flavors that you would never think would work, and then wonder why you haven't been eating these combos your entire life. I woke up still dreaming of the food. And as a bonus they are a women owned business.“
“Fantastic! I want to give myself 5 stars for finding this place :-)Food is top notch, wine selection and recommendations are top notch, the passion that goes into service is top notch, …We had a memorable dining experience here. Thank you!“
“I make it a point to visit Canard Burnside on all of my trips to Portland! The unique flavors and presentations on their menu keep me coming back for more. Had the roasted beets last night for the first time and the flavor was out of this world.“
“I think you need to know what to expect coming here. Their cheese selection and meat selections are amazing. There was a lack of substantial main courses on the menu, it felt like more sharing-snack type food. But the environment is great! A great place to gather, have a drink and a snack before going out.“
“So far we have visited twice and have had a lovely experience each time. We have sat at the upstairs Le Clos each time, we like the indoor/outdoor feel. The vibe is pretty chill with soft lighting and heaters, perfect for a first or second or 100th date. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, we've had wonderful conversations each time, and the wine options are great. The Wineman's Choice is a great option for those who are looking to explore and you can choose between red or white, you won't be disappointed. When it comes to the grilled cheese, the Oregonian is a great choice. Cheers!“
“Such a delicious, well proportioned, and complete sandwich. My second time coming back and every menu item I’ve tried so far has been great.Interior is clean and cozy.Hours are a bit funky otherwise I’d probably frequent much more often. It’s important to remember this is a butcher shop first and foremost - we’re just lucky enough that they happen to serve great sandwiches on the side.“
“Super cool snack store with some very interesting and creative sundaes ? it’s a perfect dessert place after a meal at nearby restaurants or bars.We got the cheese and crack sundaes with a marshmallow on top. Super good and we can barely finish it ?“
“Food was outstanding! We had the carpaccio and crudo to start, carpaccio was the show stopper. Trout and pork for mains, both cooked excellently, and then had the sorbetto and pana Cotta for dessert. The quality of ingredients and flavor/texture combinations were amazing! The service was so-so, told them it was a special occasion in advance but no acknowledgement of that. The server also gave us some awkward guidance when selecting wine, and wasn't super warm or friendly. Tables were pretty close to each other, it felt like we were spilling off a little with two entrees and drinks.Dietary restrictions: Amazing selection of gluten free appetizers and entrees!!“
“We have been dining at Gilda’s for 6 months. Thank you to our friends Linda and Paul for introducing us to this wonderful restaurant. The food is authentic and delicious. It is a family owned restaurant and the pride of the naturally sourced ingredients is very evident. Everything is made in house. The service is exemplary! Go, you won’t be sorry!“
“Great pizza! The crust is very tasty, New York style (or New Jersey apparently) and the cheese and sauce is fresh and delicious. It's take-out only, with a couple picnic tables in front, but the Chill-n-Fill is just across the street for more atmosphere, seating, and drink options.“
“My partner and I come here every now and again, the server Tia is always so friendly and patient with us while figuring out our drinks and the comedy shows on Thursday nights are hands down the best and most well curated “underground” comedy in Portland. 10/10 would recommend if looking for a great taproom.“
“We celebrated my husband’s birthday here and what a treat! Our server was phenomenal and helped us make great choices for amazing food + wine pairings. The chef also accommodated my food allergies with ease. Highly recommend! We plan to return very soon.“
“You've got to check this place out. Amazing mocktails, beautiful art, great selection of totally nostalgic '90s kids snacks, Pop-Tarts, muddy buddies, but seriously, what an amazing hangout spot. Comfy, cozy, and everyone was really friendly and “
“I’ve been coming to the barrio since it opened almost 10 years ago and have always really loved this place! It’s my daily and special occasion go to, Chris, the owner is welcoming & warm as well as always accommodating! Dog friendly, best sangria in the city & a really awesome atmosphere :) 10/10 I couldn’t say enough!“
“Quaint little wine shop/bar located in SE Portland. There's probably 3 little tables and bar seating. They also have a menu for small bites. Perfect place if you don't like crowded bars and are trying to go for a more quiet environment.“
“This is one of my favorite places in Portland to meet girlfriends or friends. They have the most amazing wines and excellent prices. They have wines from all over the world here. They also have a wonderful menu of very tasty items to enjoy with your wine. I look forward to coming to Division Wines when I am in Portland“
“Cute little wine bar tucked away on the busy streets of Belmont. It's definitely tight in there so not suggested for larger groups. I can imagine that during the summertime, the outdoor seating would a vibe. Also great selection of wines.“
“The staff was amazing, friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The cocktails were also excellent, loved the Penicillin I got. The decor in the building was also fun, but the downstairs bar was a bit humid, muggy, and was hard to be in. So we spent our time “
“Most tender, well flavored chicken I’ve eaten. Delicious! The white meat was unbelievably moist and the skin crisp and delightfully smoky. Simple presentation that was perfect for my in things being an unostentatious. Beet and grapefruit salad was a wonderfully surprising combination of flavors. We had a half order each of the potatoes and sweet potatoes to round everything off. Wonderful comfort food and my favorite place to go with my best friends.“
“first time here and i really love this place, it has such a welcoming vibe. the staff is knowledgeable of their wines, friendly and nice. You can tell the owner really puts in the effort for the ambience of a this wine shop. At the entrance there are multiple games you can chose from to enjoy your time. I will be coming back again. My advice is just take your coat off and stay awhile.“
“The new owners are incredibly friendly and expedient. The wind selection is fantastic and the appetizer selection was fresh and generous. We had so much fun exploring a few wines and eating 3 appetizers and didn't need to go to dinner after all. Thank you!“
“Best hidden gem of a wine bar in North Portland. Cozy, comfy space.Half glasses available and great variety. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful in navigating your wine journey. Cocktails available if wines are not your thing. Small bites to complete your tasting. Take away bottles are available.Absolutely love Gilded Raccoon!“
“I'm not a huge pizza fan, and coming from Chicago, I have a lot of deep dish experience, so was somewhat skeptical. But Ranch was close by and had good reviews so we tried it. We got the Four and I was a Ranch Pizza fan with the first bite. That crunchy cheesy edge and the combo of a great sausage, peppers and fresh mozzarella won me over. The quality of the toppings makes a huge difference. Don't tell my birthplace, but I'm a Detroit pizza lover now, but not from just anywhere, it's gotta be from Ranch Pizza!“
“I walked into Stem the day I moved into my building which is conveniently next door. Chris immediately made an environment where I knew this was going to be my Livingroom. So I've been going here since I moved here two years ago. Morgan! My favorite Sommelier has taught me soooo much about the beauty of wine and has always suggested everything perfected to my taste. Eliza became a fast friend while we discussed all the wine. I am in awe every day watching her pour out a red and white wine flight on the same tray and know where she positioned them so she could provide the info of each wine as she presented it. I have been SO impressed by the vibe that has been created and maintained over the years. Ever wanna have a glass of good wine in your jammies before bed? This is the place. Oh yeah, it's obviously an amazing date spot. Please come so I can eavesdrop.“
“We had a magical time celebrating our adult son's birthday. The service was at the next level, the food was delicious, and the space and ambiance were so comfortable. The wine list gave us some great options as well. Highly recommend this place.“
“I had one of the best dishes that I have ever had the pleasure of putting in my mouth. Upon the waitresses enthusiastic recommendation (she seemed really excited about it) I went with the Boscaiola with pasta instead of ravioli. Every bite I took I closed my eyes to just enjoy the explosion of flavors. Hands down best food ever. Highly recommend but don’t forget your reservation!“
“Super cute and inviting tasting room. Wines were fabulous! When we entered, Barbara came out from behind the counter to greet us at the door and welcome us. What a special touch that set the tone for the experience. The tasting room offers both indoor and outdoor seating (front and back patios). The 2016 Reserve Pinot Noir is exceptionally pleasant. The wine club options are very reasonable (surprisingly reasonable for the quality we experienced - so much so that we joined)! Pay them a visit; you’ll be glad you did.“
“Jeff, the patron, has filled the establishment with his own eclectic mix of offerings. The choices of beer and wine demonstrate that the selection has been planned for diversity and enjoyment. The atmosphere is great and feels like the neighborhood bar that we want to walk to.“
“I find this place to very Portlandish. The vibe is that of Portland to me. The food is okay, the service is good. The view is very nice, you can see west hills from your seat. It is a large place, it can take many people. It’s on the 4th floor of the building and a bit difficult to find. I will return and try something more.“
“Stopped in while staying in Portland for a few days and found this treasure. We had a happy hour glass and came back the next day for 4 bottles. Jeffery gave excellent recommendations and was clearly loved by the local regulars. We will certainly return on our next trip. Thanks Jeffery!“
“Totally lucked out on this one with a friend as we were walking over to a different bar "Hey! This place looks cute, let's check this out instead!" OK. Cute is an understatement. It's positively gorgeous inside. The people are super nice, the wine's fantastic, and the yellowtail toast is seriously one of the tastiest things I've eaten this year. We lucked out and happened to be walking by right when there were some free seats at the bar, but if you have to wait? It's seriously worth it!“
“Love this place! The by-the-glass list is ever-changing and never boring. All the ciders & wines I’ve tasted there have been smashable, and the owner is a great guy. They also have an awesome selection of fun ciders and wines by the bottle so you’ll never get bored.“
“1000 stars. Definitely our local. Always take friends from out of town - everyone falls in love with it like we did the first time. Christopher, Kai and Arlan have become family. Oh, and try wine list is spectacular as are the snacks ❤️❤️“
“What a lovely establishment with beautiful details and a welcoming and inviting vibe. From the chocolates on the counter to the carefully chosen tins of fish, to the friendly bartender and the delightful rose. Bar Botellon is a gem, where they really make you feel like you're the only customer in the place. This is my new favorite stop for a glass of wine and some delicious handmade tapas (try the marinated cheese and the sardines!!!!!!) I will be back!“
“So this one time, I was on a road trip. I stopped in at a casino, and I put $20 in the slot machine. After a few spins, I was feeling lucky, and I hit “max bet”.Turns out it was perfect timing because I hit the bonus on the next spin. I ended up walking out with $180.Fast forward to when I was heading home on the same trip- I stopped for gas, and decided to spend $2 on a scratch off. I ended up winning $20.I took a chance on something small, but with mighty potential, and it paid off. Twice. That’s what kind of place this is. Stop by, take a chance, and see what happens. The wine is excellent, and the staff is so incredible that they are now friends of mine.If you’re looking for a new spot to try, this is it.“
“Had to flag a waiter down multiple times to order drinks then food then another drink and finally bill. Each time I had to wave my hand and call out loudly Excuse me, as waiters walked by avoiding eye contact with at least our corner of the bar. Food was good.“
“Bar Rione is a lovely wine bar next door to Piazza Italia, an authentic Italian, tasty, affordable food with classic Italian service and beautiful wine selection. Friendly, clean, and happy environment for great food. Annually, the put on a Truffle Dinner with a guest chef from Italy who brings black truffles for the meal. Special event with special people.“
“My fiancé and I hosted our wedding proposal at Enso Winery and we couldn't be happier. Ryan was extremely accommodating and organized during the planning process and helpful on the day of the event. Between the venue, wine, and charcuterie, all of our guests left impressed and happy. Definitely won't be a stranger to Enso!“
“This is one of those reliable, reasonably priced, delightful places to dine. Service was the best. Recommendations were appreciated with spot on wine pairings. The cacio pepe was delicious!! As was the rock fish & broccolini. I enjoy the mushroom bruschetta every time. It is my favorite. Aria gin Martini was perfect. All desserts were great. We tried 4. The pot de cream really shown. Only negative was the bread. Maybe stale. Or maybe just not the best. Hard with little flavor. But otherwise, wonderful!!“
“We finally checked out this lovely bar on Saturday night and I can say it is as inviting inside as it looks from the sidewalk. We've walked by a few times and heard the great music and peered in and I'm so glad we decided to step inside. The bar smelled incredible because they were making their housemade limoncello. We sat near the bar and enjoyed a nicely-made Manhattan, glass of red wine, crispy melty mozzarella sticks, and a very yummy burger and fries. Everyone was friendly and the ambience is perfect. It was dark but warm, full of plants and fun lighting. The disco rhino over the restroom door made us giggle. We will definitely return soon. 6 stars!“
“This is the BEST COFFEE SHOP in all of Portland!AMAZING drinks, decor & ambiance, soft classy music you'll almost want to dance to on the open floor, separate cool table areas, loads of privacy -distanced sitting areas, SHUFFLE BOARD, all the flavors for coffee, I think that's a business catering area room.. business classy yet also CASUAL!“
“Great pho with better than most cuts of meat. My wife got the pad thai and said she enjoyed it very much. Would recommend to friends. They were also very nice to my 2.5 year old daughter and were considerate enough to bring a small bowl for her to share some of our food with.“
“Go here for an authentic old school Japanese sushi house experience! Ingredients are top notch. With specials featuring the best of the catch. I look forward to going back with a large group. And straying a bit further off of the standard items.“
“Such great service. It was pi day and they served pie so of course we had to get some. It is rare for any bars to serve a sweet treat at least in the area I live in. I love that they had three options. Perfectly decorated wine bar with an upstairs loft area.“
“Loooove this spot! If you want really good wine in a chill setting or need to grab a bottle, this is your place! We were lucky enough to chat with the owner, Matt. He was so kind and gave amazing recommendations for our wines. We will absolutely be coming back, and next time we will bring our son. He let us know that they are kid friendly, and that means a lot to us. Basically, you should totally come and support Matt and his team, while having some REALLY good wine.“
“This is such a quaint and upscale place for an evening in Downtown Portland. Our sommelier engaged in an enlightening discourse about the origin and production of our wines and the Pacific Northwest food scene. Charming service. Serenaded by his lyrical Brazilian accent, we enjoyed our evening learning about wine and local foods.“
“Very sweet small bar tucked away in a cozy alley. The service was fantastic-got my party of two seated quickly even though we didn’t have a reservation on a Friday. The drinks were great as well as the oysters but the octopus I ordered bordered on being too salty.“
“Honestly was the best steak house I’ve been to… I liked how the waiter explained the whole process to the table, gave great recommendations & the chef gave us a free soup sample. All the food was 5/5 stars. Best steak & pork chop hands down.“
