“One of only top artisan pizza place still open on 1st January. We were hoping to get a table but the restaurant was fully booked out.

So we did a take out. The ambience and smell of the place really stood out. We got Funghi and Margherita and both of them was really good. Personally I liked Funghi, my date probably kept deciding till her last bite what she liked more.

I would love to be back here for dine in experience preferably and hopefully with the same company.“

- The fennel and olives were nice together, just not especially memorable

- Really good balance of earthy + sharp flavors
- The parm and sauce worked well with the beets
- Great dish, just not quite “obsessed” level
- loves the vert

Torta Caprese, Cherry Zabaglione, Espresso ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
- probably Incredible with red wine
- Rich chocolate + espresso flavors without being too heavy
- definitely needs red wine or it'll dry out your mouth“

“I wish I'd known about this place sooner! Nice wine selections, delicious snack - the salted rosemary focaccia with tomato jam was terrific! Chanelle and Haru were welcoming hostesses, and the place was a very comfortable place to just hang & enjoy being where I was. I'll definitely be recommending it to friends, and I'm looking forward to my next visit!“

“I popped in here for the first time several months ago for lunch and a glass of wine, and ended up having what could arguably be one of the best Italian cold cut sandwiches I’ve had in my life. Seriously, I wake up dreaming about that sandwich sometimes it’s so good. The pepper spread pulls it all together. My partner really enjoys the Cascadia Dip.

When it comes to their wine and beer selections, there is a lot to choose from. It’s a great place to take friends or family because there is something to suit everyone’s tastes. The service has been friendly every time, and the atmosphere is great. “Twice now I’ve eaten at Ox. I came back for the Clam Chowder with Smoked Bone Marrow as it left such a lasting impression. This time, we tried the Skirt Steak with the Radicchio & Romaine Salad. The wine selection was fabulous. I tried a few different pours and loved what I tried. And the food was absolutely delicious without trying too hard.

What really made the experience special was the staff. They were so kind and attentive. Friendly in a genuine way, not just polite. It felt like they really wanted me to enjoy myself, and I did.

Owner Jeff clearly knows his wines and has curated a thoughtful collection. What makes it even better is his enthusiasm for sharing it. Great crust that's a blend of crispy but soft under the immediate toppings so when you eat it the temp is what wrecks the top of your mouth but then you don't chop it up with the too crisp crust shards. I was pretty disappointed to receive a $3 “discount” after not being able to eat the way too salty lamb ribs. Just left a bad taste and vibe for me as a neighbor and someone who could have been an enthusiastic regular. I have very rarely sent back food… but as a prior food biz owner myself, if a reasonable and polite customer ever had a disappointing experience with anything, I’d always give a full refund and encourage them to try us again. It’s just good business practice IMHO.“

“Unfortunately, we were only there for a hot minute as we were on a mission to visit as many bars/restos as possible on our short stay in Portland. Olympia Provisions was only our first stop and we didn't want to leave! Our server and the bartender were both so nice and friendly. They didn't make us feel bad that we were only getting one round of drinks and an appetizer but rather encouraged us to try as many of Portland's great offerings as possible!
My Pastis cocktail was absolutely delicious and I wish I had the time to order 2! My sister and I narrowed down our choices to the Pheasant Liver and Foie Gras Mousse with Cranberry and Raisin Chutney and Candied Nuts! A winning choice for us!

“Wow. My wife and I had lunch here yesterday and it did not disappoint. It’s a clean walk up and order spot where you order on the tablet. We shared the OG sandwich. It was actually incredible! I would come back again to keep trying the other sandwiches that all sounded amazing too.“

“We rented out this space for our All Star Accounting Professionals Inc. Year-End Celebration. The entire process was seamless. Our questions were answered timely & in detail. The day of the celebration, we walked into the space that was so inviting, cozy, and elegant. Flowers on the tables, candles lit, and fireplace going. Connor, our bartender. went above & beyond helping us load, move tables, take off candles & flowers to use our own decorations, share lighters & chalk, and even helped some with loading our car. We were so impressed we might just book this place again next year!“
