“This place is OK With Me!!!when they brought out my food I wasn’t happy because my eggs were on top of my gravy, but they fixed it and so I was OK but my gravy and potatoes were cold I had chicken fried steak. They were really nice. They took it off. My daughter was satisfied with her food. I was satisfied with my eggs in my toast so overall their food is delicious and decent. I just have to order different when I come next time, but I will be Back. my daughter had the churro waffles and they looked good and they smelled good and she said they were delicious so overall the food is good.“

“Real neat place with fun staff. I got the Beast and the Beauty sandwich, and it was huge! Absolutely delicious with a ton of meat and delicious toppings. My friend got a gluten free Rose City smashburger, and it was on a sliced sandwich bread that got toasted but no complaints from them. Definitely recommend.

Dietary restrictions: Seems like the only gluten free bread they have is sliced loaf bread.“

“A stunning experience. When I walked in I was greeted by the most charming host who quickly sat my party of five. We had all just arrived from a weekend in Saint Tropez and was properly famished. The atmosphere reminded me of places I often frequent in Berlin: atmospheric, warm, and intimate. Our food arrived promptly and the plating was perfect. Honest and delicious, I licked the plate as it felt right. Once I’m back from Ibiza this is the first stop I’ll make.

“This is a great first date place. The food presentation was outstanding. However, we felt it was a little blan. They use RC soda products here, which are flat at the bar but have carbonation if gotten from the back. Amazing happy hour!

“My friend and I visit here every Friday evening. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. Especially Jason. He remembers regulars, and is very genuinely caring about the people he serves. The servers, including Lupita, are very prompt and nice. Your drinks never go empty! We prefer this location because it’s not only open until 10pm, but because we have had such pleasant experiences with the staff. Food is pretty darn good too! Fresh breakfast meats and French toast! Thank you!“

“Ate here with my family in October 2024. Nice sunny, chilly day visiting Portland. I had the chicken sandwich and it was delicious. My boys had burgers and loved them. The lemonade was delicious but expensive for the little cup. In a little section off the street with 3 other food trucks, and some outdoor picnic seating. We had no problem parking around the corner, but no parking right in front. Free water and cups are available in the seating area.“

The restaurant has a spacious and open atmosphere with a fast-food-style setup where you order and pay before seating yourself. We enjoyed a beer🍺, a cocktail (Jojo Carajillo)🍸, a BLT sandwich, a chicken bacon sandwich ($16), and the original plain Jojo ($6.50).
The freshly fried Jojos were piping hot and had a wonderfully soft and warm texture inside. Even though we ordered a regular size, the portion was huge! Everything was delicious.
The only small disappointment was that we added an egg to the BLT for an extra $2, but it wasn’t included. It might have just been a simple mistake. Other than that, all the dishes were freshly made, generously portioned, and tasted great!🥰“

“Love McMenamins, they have consistently good food, music, low lighting, beautiful art, lovely places, all of them.

However, this particular location has an issue with their service. At times, you'll be forgotten about or outright ignored while the servers chat it up with each other at the bar. They OFTEN just stand around talking to each other for long stretches.

It's fine to socialize at work in this type of environment, sure, not opposed to that. But when I'm sitting waiting for 15 mins and no one approaches to take my order or serve me water, all while laughing and talking about their pets at the bar, it reflects very poorly.“

“I simply cannot rave enough about this restaurant! While researching great date night dinner spots, I came across Arden—and when my hairstylist also recommended it, I knew I had to book it. From the moment we stepped in, everyone was incredibly friendly, fun, and welcoming. We chose to sit at the counter and opted for the chef's tasting menu. We enjoyed delicious mocktails, sampled extraordinary dishes, and savored every moment. Our server was absolutely lovely, and it was such a treat to chat with the chef preparing the appetizers and desserts right in front of us. We even spotted the head chef as he arrived to dine himself! We had the most wonderful time from start to finish and are already planning our next visit. Arden is top-notch—an absolute gem!“

We had the beet tart (could have eaten two of those, it was so good) and the patê plate which was a generous portion and perfect, according to my husband. The striped sea bass was excellent - flaky and moist, with a crispy skin, couldn't have been better, accompanied by nettle gnocchi and roasted cauliflower. The steak was cooked to perfect medium rare, tender and flavorful, with Yorkshire pud, roasted veg, cherry jus... And the imaginative and tasty desserts never fail to put an excellent finishing touch to the meal. Service is attentive and helpful, the cocktails are fun, the vibe is friendly, homey but polished. “First time visit takeaways: easy to place an order, straightforward menu, food exceeded my expectations! This is an excellent smash burger spot serving up crispy thin patties on an appropriately sized bun (not too fluffy, but not disintegrating either). The toppings are simple and let the patty be the star of the show.

We ordered two singles and fries with garlic ranch dip to share. The fries were absolutely perfect temperature and texture. The garlic ranch was thicker than your classic runny ranch dressing, which made it a good dip for the fries.

Also every table had a very cute, well behaved dog.“
