“I've always had decent food here at Bannings. This morning I ordered Pumpkin pancakes.....what a disappointment. The pumpkin batter needed salt added to it and it also could have used a bit more sugar in the batter. The syrup was not real maple syrup but table top ad says, "warm maple syrup," so I expected real maple syrup. It also says, "whipped butter." I asked the waiter about the maple syrup and he told me it was "artificial" maple and argued the fact that the restaurant never said "real" maple syrup. Maybe the butter is whipped margarine...who knows what liberties are taken in menu descriptions. I'm a "real" maple syrup customer.“

“My husband and I stopped for a burger on our anniversary. We haven't been to the Square for a long time. The man working the counter was friendly and took our orders well. I appreciated him asking if we wanted everything on it (my husband did but I didn't). We got our burgers hit and fresh. They tasted amazing and were great sizes, especially for the prices which are better than usual mall prices! Fantastic experience overall!“

The atmosphere is bright and welcoming, with a great layout. As a solo diner, I find the 2-person side tables very cozy and comfortable, while the booths are perfect for families.

“I have gone here plenty of times with friends after work. It's a nice little spot. Enjoy the drinks as they have their own beers and whiskeys. Their cocktails even seasonal ones are really good. The food is typical for a what it is, nothing too fancy but satisfying.“

“When you enter the first thing you notice are the plants and real wood paneling. There are tiny cast irons up on the wall. The lighting is designed to look like old style gas lamps. The music is definitely the best part of the ambiance. The music ranges from doowop to soul to vintage rock and roll to San Francisco sound and Motown which is precisely my jam. I ordered a plain burger with mayo and fries. I'm weird like that but Miller's was able to able to accommodate my autism. The service was amazing and I'm not just saying that cause I know the waitress. The food was made quickly. Fries were crunchy on the outside soft on the inside as they should be. My Fanta was topped off when I got just under a third. It's clean. Very clean. I know cause I watched an employee pull every single table out to clean the booths. Very pleased with my visit.“

“I just had a really delicious bowl of (Boston style) clam chowder at Three Mermaids Public House in Tigard. It was so creamy, and comforting; and the small bits of bacon gave it over-the-top goodness. Honestly, all the food at this welcoming pub is worth trying, but I hadn’t expected to enjoy a bowl of soup as much as I did this one!“

“Best little bar around! Mixers is our favorite place to be; they have electric darts, several pool tables, karaoke, and the perfect little patio area to smoke and drink outside. Great customer service and the bartenders are very friendly and remember us every time we go. All around highly recommend heading to Mixers on your next night out!“

“I've been coming to Tapphoria for a few years now. It's a welcoming spot with a great group of people who tend to be here pretty much every time I show up. Solid beer selection at way better prices than the other taphouses around this area. Service is great and it's a good spot to grab a beer or two and watch a game.“

“Great little slightly elevated diner food location, they are a small chain and this is the location I have always come to.

Excellent service and if you're of the mood to have your hashbrowns stuffed, you'll get some lovely crisped cheese (al a frico) as an add on.

Make sure to try the eponymous biscuits, they are fairly standard but the in-house strawberry or raspberry jam makes them much more worth the eating.

Good size portions, I usually end up taking about half the meal home in a box.

Think Black Bear, but instead of compensating for poor quality (Black Bear has been slipping for years) with quantity. Biscuits maintains good quality and quantity balance.
