“I just had a really delicious bowl of (Boston style) clam chowder at Three Mermaids Public House in Tigard. It was so creamy, and comforting; and the small bits of bacon gave it over-the-top goodness. Honestly, all the food at this welcoming pub is worth trying, but I hadn’t expected to enjoy a bowl of soup as much as I did this one!“

The atmosphere is bright and welcoming, with a great layout. As a solo diner, I find the 2-person side tables very cozy and comfortable, while the booths are perfect for families.

​Penne Bolognese & Chicken Meatballs: Love that they offer a gluten-free penne option—it tastes great!

​Cilantro Lime Salad & Roma Tomato Basil Soup: Fresh and comforting.

​Hot Mint Tea: A perfect way to finish.

​The staff here are all so friendly and professional—it really makes you want to leave a generous tip and keeps me coming back.

​Parking: Located at Washington Square Mall, there is plenty of parking available, though it can get a bit busier on weekends.

“Everything about this restaurant is homely and inviting. I love that the plates aren't gargantuan sized. They feel like a nice home cooked meal and you really don't need a takeout box. The service is fast and friendly, though we showed up right at 11AM to ensure we had seating! Food was delicious, and the dessert was good. If you plan to buy any pastries, do so before you sit! We waited until after we were done eating and literally within and hour of opening, all the fruit strudel was gone. I was heartbroken because that's why I went! Well I won't be making that mistake twice! Buy it before you sit! Great place and such fun!“

“We had an absolutely stellar meal celebrating our son's 17th birthday. The staff was friendly and accommodating without hovering, and each dish was delicious and beautifully presented. Olympia Provisions is such a perfect Portland restaurant, in that it's warm and inviting without feeling pretentious, and there is clearly immense talent and passion informing the menu and its execution. “Nice interior, good wine. Didn’t try food this first time, and sat at the bar for a glass of wine. Observed that most of staff looked unenthusiastic and very few smiling—including the manager who was dressed like a lumberjack. (A bit weird for what is being touted as a “French restaurant.”). Presentation was beautiful, the atmosphere felt very warm, cozy and inviting. Plates were absolutely stunning in all ways. The textures in each dish were just so perfect, exciting and unique. The flavors complimented each other so well and each course was perfectly balanced, flowing nicely into the next. Everything was absolutely perfect, the thrill of enjoying such technical yet plant based preperations genuinly brings tears of joy. The Kombucha pairings were magical. Meadowland was perfect. The respect payed to plants here, the absolutely mind blowing creativity that leaves you craving more, makes Astera stand out as a historical evolution for plant based flavor, technical creativity, creation, service and passion in the plant based realm in the U.S. Astera is heaven on earth. I had the papermaker pale. Wow! Well poured, gold colored beauty, tastes like a beer dream, lightly piney on top, then a smoothly carbonated descent to hopville.. brilliant!
They treat you right at the Rudder, so close to the Willamette it probably barely stayed dry in ancient days. But they dont get you muddy. Kick back be patient they will row out to you.

“Love love love this place. One a street where there has been a lot on construction changes and old buildings being torn down, this place has taken advantage of square footage in a home. Both covered and not covered outside seating areas. In door has a great bar! Customer Service is amazing, even when its busy. The Beer, fantastic! I tried all of them on tap. Bathrooms are large. Food was amazing! I highly recommend.“

“This was our first time here and certainly won't be the last. The ambiance, service and cuisine made for a marvelous evening. We enjoyed decadent salads (Swiss Chef and Beets with gorgonzola) The dessert was divine, and like our salads, the portions were generous and the quality of ingredients were excellent. We feasted on a double berry tart a la mode. its presentation was photo worthy. All food had an artistic presentation. We were so impressed 👏“

“My son stopped at Bastions this past June 2025 and purchased 2 good sizes of your coffee cake. It was exceptional and so moist. We couldn't put our forks down! We're the ones who purchased a pecan pie from bastions last Christmas and a pumpkin pie last Thanksgiving. Both outstanding! Everything we've tried is excellent including the donuts.
