“Nice interior, good wine. Didn’t try food this first time, and sat at the bar for a glass of wine. Observed that most of staff looked unenthusiastic and very few smiling—including the manager who was dressed like a lumberjack. (A bit weird for what is being touted as a “French restaurant.”). We’ll try dinner next time and hope for the best.“

“This was our first time here and certainly won't be the last. The ambiance, service and cuisine made for a marvelous evening. We enjoyed decadent salads (Swiss Chef and Beets with gorgonzola) The dessert was divine, and like our salads, the portions were generous and the quality of ingredients were excellent. We feasted on a double berry tart a la mode. its presentation was photo worthy. All food had an artistic presentation. We were so impressed 👏“

“I had the pleasure of dining at Almaro's Table in Vancouver recently, and I can't recommend it enough! We were on our way to Beaverton and arrived close to closing time, but the staff graciously welcomed us in despite the late hour. The food was absolutely incredible—it's been a long time since I've had something so delicious! Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The service was impeccable; the staff was attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. And I must mention the dessert—it's truly to die for! It was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. If you're in the area, don’t miss out on this gem. I can't wait to visit again!“

“This is a quant authentic German restaurant run exclusively by Otto and Anita, they cook everything themselves in the back. Anita makes all the baked goods and they even make their own salad dressing. The food was delicious. Not many vegetarian items but the Dill Soup was the star, and paired nicely with their house salad. The desserts and baked goods all looked very nice. I enjoyed the German Spezi soda. The staff is super friendly and the whole experience was warm and unique. I highly recommend it.“

“Me and my adult kids had a great meet up and dinner at Urban Steel Kitchen. I didn’t know what to expect but it was very tidy had plenty of room and the cuisine was high quality—the chefs did a great job!! I had the steelhead, kiddo had the steak sandwich and other kiddo had pesto pasta. We split appetizer of fried cauliflower and cake and brownie desserts. I highly recommend each of the dishes we got. All the food was super fresh and served when ready at the right temperatures. Grace was our server and she was so sweet!! The environment wasn’t super loud—I appreciate that now that my dad has hearing aids so I pay attention to this detail.“

The staff is absolutely incredible—Linde, Morgan, Jeffery, Logan, Dietrich, Kathy, Reid, Thomas, and Kyle all went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. They’re knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience so enjoyable by sharing great pairing suggestions and details about the wines. The wine selection is top-notch, especially the Pinot Noir and Estate Rosé, which were outstanding. The food menu is just as impressive—the small plates and flatbreads pair beautifully with the wine flights. One of my favorite parts was the view—absolutely stunning and the perfect backdrop for sipping wine. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this is a must-visit spot for wine lovers. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“I had a memorable dinner at Higgins Restaurant. I ordered their Oregon Mushroom Set Menu, and each dish reflected their respect for local ingredients. The wild mushroom bisque was particularly delicious, with a smooth texture and rich aroma. The waiter was very professional and attentive, explaining the background of each dish. The elegant yet relaxed atmosphere was perfect for a leisurely meal with friends or family.“

The bread was the true Prince. Opted for sourdough and it was tasty and even had a bit of crunch! No rubbery texture causing the ingredients to slide out with each bite. I got the small size as they come in large or small and it was perfect for what I needed since I wasn't overly hungry. Great first visit. I'll have to keep this one on my radar!“

“Stopped by Bar Diane on a Sunday and absolutely loved it. We had the $2 oyster special, which were fresh and delicious, along with some tinned fish that paired perfectly with our sparkling wine. Sundays are a great deal here with 20% off sparkling wines, making it even better. Cozy vibe, great bites, and excellent value — definitely a spot worth checking out.“

“We came in for burger week and ordered additional food that we took home. The burger was so good that we came back again before the week was over to do it another time!
The atmosphere at Clarklewis is always amazing, especially when all (six?) of the roll-up doors are open in the summer. The lighting, the music, the single elegant flower on the table - it is all seductive and inviting and relaxing. The servers are engaging and kind of mesmerizing to watch as they glide and dance around the room, especially on a busy night. We love this place and haven’t been for a while. We’ll be back soon! We made reservations because we like particular seating but I think they can accommodate walk-ins on most nights, especially groups of 2-4.“

“We went for the Wassail Cider Fest for the first time and it was energetic! The band performance was something I'd never seen before and hosting it in their barn really added to the experience. They had a great cider selection from a very wide variety of vendors. It was very crowded and difficult to move around at times due to the high volume of traffic. The parking lot was full so we parked nearby at the Fred Meyer and walked which was to be expected. We got food from their restaurant after and besides a slightly burnt pattie on one of our burgers, they do a good job. And service is always great. Overall we had a great time! Spending per person includes our event tickets which was $48 per person.“

It was so creamy, and comforting; and the small bits of bacon gave it over-the-top goodness. Honestly, all the food at this welcoming pub is worth trying, but I hadn’t expected to enjoy a bowl of soup as much as I did this one!“
