“Nice interior, good wine. Didn’t try food this first time, and sat at the bar for a glass of wine. Observed that most of staff looked unenthusiastic and very few smiling—including the manager who was dressed like a lumberjack. (A bit weird for what is being touted as a “French restaurant.”). We’ll try dinner next time and hope for the best.“

“This was our first time here and certainly won't be the last. The ambiance, service and cuisine made for a marvelous evening. We enjoyed decadent salads (Swiss Chef and Beets with gorgonzola) The dessert was divine, and like our salads, the portions were generous and the quality of ingredients were excellent. We feasted on a double berry tart a la mode. its presentation was photo worthy. All food had an artistic presentation. We were so impressed 👏“

Olympia Provisions was only our first stop and we didn't want to leave! Our server and the bartender were both so nice and friendly. They didn't make us feel bad that we were only getting one round of drinks and an appetizer but rather encouraged us to try as many of Portland's great offerings as possible!
My Pastis cocktail was absolutely delicious and I wish I had the time to order 2! My sister and I narrowed down our choices to the Pheasant Liver and Foie Gras Mousse with Cranberry and Raisin Chutney and Candied Nuts! A winning choice for us!

“I love Dream House, but am begging… Can you bring back your kale Caesar salad? It was no joke, my favorite meal in the entire city. I dream about this salad. I tell everyone about this salad. “We visited Copper River for the third time tonight, and this experience was completely different from our previous visits. Honestly, I usually do not give places three chances, but after speaking with a manager previously and being invited back, we decided to give it one more try.

The last two visits were rough. We waited over 15 minutes before being greeted after being seated, our order was forgotten, and the overall experience felt disconnected. Both times we were seated in the bar area, which may have contributed to the inconsistent service.

Tonight completely turned things around.

Destinee was outstanding from the moment we sat down. She greeted us quickly, stayed attentive throughout the meal, kept drinks up, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. The service felt professional, relaxed, and organized. She honestly saved the experience for us and restored confidence in coming back again.

The calamari was crispy and flavorful, the steaks were cooked properly, and the overall timing of the meal was much smoother than our previous visits.

One suggestion: if possible, avoid seating guests in the bar area when the restaurant is slower, especially if staffing coverage is limited there. The difference in service tonight compared to our previous bar seating experiences was night and day.

“We went for the Wassail Cider Fest for the first time and it was energetic! The band performance was something I'd never seen before and hosting it in their barn really added to the experience. They had a great cider selection from a very wide variety of vendors. It was very crowded and difficult to move around at times due to the high volume of traffic. The parking lot was full so we parked nearby at the Fred Meyer and walked which was to be expected. We got food from their restaurant after and besides a slightly burnt pattie on one of our burgers, they do a good job. And service is always great. Overall we had a great time! Spending per person includes our event tickets which was $48 per person.“

“I’ve been here many times before and have always thoroughly enjoyed my experiences. However, when I went today with my family, the food was overwhelmingly salty across all of our different pastas and their sauces (pesto, red sauce, carbonara). I loved the crunch and texture of the nuts but could not finish my pesto dish.

I am disappointed and hope this is a fluke where kitchen staffing was negatively affected by the holiday weekend.“
