“One of the cutest and coziest spot I've been to in awhile. I love thier interior so much! Modern, chic, but still warm. The food menu is Indian-inspired and everything is vegan. We got a plate of the drumstick to share and it's super unique! The texture was pretty close to real chicken but what stood out was the seasonings and flavors. Super spicy, in the best way. Made for a great drinking snack. Lots of unique items to try and share from the menu. For drinks, we got the N/A Creamsicle which was SO GOOD! I would come back just for it. Creamy, not too sweet with a hint of coconut. We also got the Club Lilou which was alright for me. Nothing to rave about but refreshing and summer-y.“
“My handsome husband and I absolutely ADORE this new find for us. I’ve lived in Aloha 20+ years and this place is exactly what I want in a neighborhood hangout, but have never seen until tonight. First thing in the door we were greeted, welcomed, told about the menu and invited to sit wherever we liked! Talk about feeling welcomed and immediate hospitality! The atmosphere was also fantastic—subdued and relaxing with agreeable lighting. But the cocktails were ABSOLUTELY EPIC! We had our socks knocked off by the flavor and variety of the cocktails, and then the presentation was just so incredibly appealing to boot! Fresh herbs (rosemary) in one drink, dried herbs (lavender) in another made the drinks delicious AND visually stunning to behold. Prices were very reasonable, so we will be coming back again and again to sample absolutely everything! 10/10 and we’ll be singing the praises of The 649 to absolutely everybody we know!“
“Located above the loyal legion and available only by reservation (or walk in as space permits). Access is via a stairwell at the back and opens only via code. A staff member greets you downstairs and explains the process (one way only, restrooms inside, etc). Then you go up into a private space with soft lighting and trendy decor. I think I counted less than 7 tables (3 fit 4, and 4 fit 2), Plus 4 stools at the bar. Super cozy and intimate. Definitely recommend. Staff were excellent, knowledgeable, and the right amount of attentive. Not a lot of food choices.. but the drinks were great and the vibe even better. Looking forward to going back.“
“Drove by today and decided to do something different for our usual take out and movie Fridays. I am SO glad we did. The menu had so many things that sounded amazing, my husband and I spent 30 minutes trying to decide what to try first. We ended up ordering: MIANG KHAM PAD KHE MAO YUM NUA MEKHONG CUBA LIBRE EVERYTHING was authentic, fresh and flavorful and the staff even called me during their rush to ensure that we had all of our items. As someone who is a business in the industry, that was next level service.“
“First time customer. My wife wanted a BLT so I googled what restaurants had them and this place came up. It did not disappoint! Menu is chock full of pop culture references that will entertain you while choosing your libations which are quite extensive. Shout out to our server, Mallory, who was happy to answer a few questions when it came to dessert selection and she was right on! Also kid friendly!“
“Great bar. Huge selection of beer and other adult beverages. Bar seats a little uncomfortable but thats just me complaining... and there isn't any reason to complain. Staff was super nice and attentive. Had the brusslesprouts and although I don't like them, I had to keep eating them. Food was superb!!!“
“I've visited here twice recently - once on a Friday night with a bunch of ladies and a reservation. The place was really busy and the service was really slow. We struggled to get their attention at all. The second time, I came with my husband and daughter on another Friday night without any reservation. That night was relatively calmer and service was very attentive. So, can't speak for their consistency of service. But the food tasted delicious both nights.“
“We were in town and decided to try this restaurant. What an amazing experience. The food was amazing, and the servers and staff were very friendly and attentive. There was also a manager walking around making sure everyone's meals were good and that we were being taken care of.We tried the candied bacon as an appetizer, and it could have been cooked more and without saying much. They brought us another one that was better prepared for our liking. We had no idea they were doing that, they just did it. Soooo appreciative and not the typical service you see anymore. It's very refreshing. We will be back!!!“
“Finally got to try this place and wasn't disappointed. The food was delicious and everything including cocktails were beautifully presented. I wasn't aware that reservations were encouraged so when we showed up Friday night they only had outdoor or bar seating so we sat at the bar so would recommend making reservations. Service was great despite being very busy and I liked the atmosphere.“
“Very cool little barcade in downtown Beaverton. It's connected to Sizzle Pie where you can get pretty good pizza and then have some fun after with retro games. Admittedly, it is rather small, and when I've been there, quite a few of the games were out of order, but it's still a good way to spend some time. It could benefit from more of a selection. If you live in the area, it's nice that there's a convenient little arcade so that you don't need to go to Portland. Also, they do have some fun pinball machines and I would highly recommend the Monster Bash and AC/DC ones. It's also not too dirty and not necessarily crowded, which is nice.“
“Recently found a 'Tea house' that serves southeast-asia food. We ordered the Nasi Lemak with Chicken, Fried Beef garlic rice, Lentil Soup Roti, beef masala skew, and fire fish suzi.Nasi lemak is good, chicken is crispy, the sambal is good (but fall a bit short to my expectation), with the ikan billis and quail eggs. This is the must-order.Fried beef /w rice is very well cook and delicious.Lentil Soup is nice but the roti seems to be the frozen-type...not authentic for roti :)Beef masala skew is well made, taste very much like 'satay' in Malaysia:) and the fish is good. The restaurant is pretty small and limited tables, make sure you prebook!“
