“The Grocery has always been good to me and my friends. Whether you're going for a solo drink or two or with a group of friends, you'll always have a good time.

The food is good, the snacks are great and I'd recommend here as a great first date spot or a second or third or sixteenth date spot.

Everyone is friendly and you'll never have a bad time. 10/10“

“Swang by in the afternoon for a quick drink and a bite. Bartender was extremely friendly, and the bar was clean. Food came a little bit slow, but the drinks were delicious and there was a big variety. They got some arcade games in the back for something to do, and the whoever was on the aux that day played some bangers. Will be back again.“

“Visiting friends in Portland, they took us here for Breakfast. Loved the ambiance. After a 30-minute wait (we didn't have a reservation), we were finally seated and waited... and waited... and waited, eventually receiving our order after another 45 minutes. Two of three orders were wrong - I had ordered "The standard" - described as "the standard two eggs* with a choice of bacon or Zenner's sausage served with home fries or field greens and choice of toast". Got it with roasted potatoes. The waiter insisted that's how they would always come - but then served extra fries - and, to make up for the wait, comped us with some of the jummy sweet balls they show in their icon image. I found this nice, but also the only appropriate thing to do to save them from a two-star review. Because the server, whom I found uncharmingly stressed at first, really woke up and sped up his game, I would take the experience and try it again when we visit our friends next time. The place itself is very nice, and the food was tasty - and would under other circumstances qualify for four stars or more (if you have read my other reviews, you may remember that I am rather particular with five stars).“

Vault 31 offers their own in-house wood-fired pizzas! The owners here make their very own dough, AND sauce! Last night I tried the "Pickle Rick" pizza! Surprisingly delicious. Composed of red sauce, pepperoni, and bread N' butter pickles! YUMMMMM!!!!!!“

The Uptown Barrel Room has their unhealthy choices too yet they had great salad selection, and some protein options. I had the Grilled chicken rice bowl ..very simple, clean and tasty.“

“My husband and I visited the "Shinsen" sushi restaurant in October 2024. The reason we post this review much later is we just returned home in London, UK. We were very pleasantly surprised from the moment we entered this nice restaurant. The interior design of the restaurant is made from the heart with attention to detail in the theme of the Far East. Next, the friendly atmosphere is created by the restaurant staff. Restaurant chefs prepare dishes right next to you and you can watch it being prepared. During our visit, we tried many dishes and drinks. I must admit that my husband, who is a very picky person and stingy with praise, found the food very tasty and delicious, giving much praises to the staff. I, however, was enchanted by my Violet Eyes cocktail being served "in the fog". We wish this nice restaurant every success.“

“Spring rolls so perfectly done... Pad kee mao perfectly done! Chicken Yellow curry soo yummy... Best Thai food we've had in the 20 cities in which we've enjoyed it. Peanut sauce had a little curry flavor to it but you made it nice. Good portions and the surface is amazing they are very friendly and fun to interact with there. So second time was even better than the first. Interesting cocktails and drinks and local beers and ciders. We never thought that a place called Ginger Pop would be so good!“

“My wife and I ate here before taking in the Christmas Ship parade on the Columbia. I had the Radiatore. My wife had the Potato Gnocchi both of which were excellent. But the star for us was the Brussel Sprouts with Pickled Mustard Seed dressing, outstanding.“

“Stupid google won't let you review a place more than once. I get it, I know why, but sometimes you have vastly different experiences at different times.
That's what happened to me. I had meatloaf here for dinner once, and it was transcendental. And I was excited to come back and order Corned Beef Hash for breakfast, because as I have learned, the 'Couve is the center of the corned beef hash universe!
And the service and the vibe at Paul's is stellar. Love it love it love it. But people, maybe don't order the corned beef hash for breakfast. Did not live up to the hype. First of all, toast and eggs are an upcharge...maybe if I didn't order them it could have been better? The eggs weren't bad. And I got 3 because one was a little overdone. The rye toast was so dry I'd maybe classify it as a rusk. And the hash...the hash was so disappointing. A small amount of corned beef. Like barely enough...see the picture? All the beef visible peeking around the eggs is all the beef on the plate. But the problem was there were almost no potatoes! Or onions! or peppers! Or anything. There was like 5 bites of corned beef hash for the upscale dollar. I certainly left hungry. I sincerely hope that this was an anomaly, but I will probably not try breakfast here again...but I will be back for meatloaf dinner.“
