After a 30-minute wait (we didn't have a reservation), we were finally seated and waited... and waited... and waited, eventually receiving our order after another 45 minutes. Two of three orders were wrong - I had ordered "The standard" - described as "the standard two eggs* with a choice of bacon or Zenner's sausage served with home fries or field greens and choice of toast". Got it with roasted potatoes. The waiter insisted that's how they would always come - but then served extra fries - and, to make up for the wait, comped us with some of the jummy sweet balls they show in their icon image. I found this nice, but also the only appropriate thing to do to save them from a two-star review. Because the server, whom I found uncharmingly stressed at first, really woke up and sped up his game, I would take the experience and try it again when we visit our friends next time. The place itself is very nice, and the food was tasty - and would under other circumstances qualify for four stars or more (if you have read my other reviews, you may remember that I am rather particular with five stars).”

We ordered bibimbap all around—one with beef, and two of us chose the seafood version. Let me tell you, the seafood bibimbap was outstanding! It was incredibly flavorful, with a deep, earthy spice that packed a definite kick without overwhelming the dish (served in blazing hot stone pot).
One of my favorite things is discovering restaurants like this tucked away in what looks like an ordinary strip mall. Sool Korean Kitchen is exactly the kind of hidden gem that surprises you with both the quality of the food and the care put into the experience.
The chef even came out to check on us and ask how everything was. We all agreed that it was an excellent lunch from start to finish. The food was delicious, the service was warm and welcoming, and the overall experience left a great impression.
I will definitely be a repeat customer and look forward to trying more dishes from the menu. Highly recommended!”

I’m flexible so went with sausage and cheese for $8. However, size was rather small for the price and it wasn’t all that different than frozen food quality.
The service was quick and place was spacious, so it’s perfect for relaxing in a quiet environment which does not feel cramped.”

I have had several roles in the wine industry, including as a tasting room manager and wine educator, so am particularly sensitive to quality service and the educational component at tasting rooms. Shout out to Hayden, who was engaging, knowledgeable, and kept a perfect pace for pouring the flight, allowing us enough time to sip and savor while not leaving us waiting, even though it was busy. Not only was the service great, every wine I had was impressive. They were well-made, balanced in flavor and structure, and expressive of Washington while paying respectful homage to their famous European counterparts like Super Tuscans, Bordeaux, and the Rhone. I highly recommend Brian Carter Cellars for great Washington wine and a great tasting experience in a beautiful waterfront setting.”

He was very patient with my never ending questions If you haven't had their homemade bread, you should. I ordered a meat lovers and its as good as any pizza I can remember. Their sweet and sour chicken had a nice twist with real chicken that was breaded and fried which I've never before seen or had. Their tom kah soup had me not being able to get enough. Service was great. Only thing I can and will say is the atmosphere was a little lacking and if you're looking for a pleasing dining room this wasn't it. Their food absolutely was the highlight and standout and we will definitely be back to try more that the menu has to offer. Great job. Also prices were very reasonable, cannot complain for the quality of food delivered.”

“I had to leave a review for Drew at the Subway near Falk Rd — he seriously stood out tonight. It was late, there was a long line, and honestly I was exhausted walking in. But Drew was incredibly kind, calm, and welcoming the whole time.
Even with a full line of people, everyone stayed patient because he kept things moving so smoothly. He was fast and efficient without ever making anyone feel rushed, and his attitude never slipped for a second.
That kind of service is rare, especially late at night. You can tell he genuinely cares about people and takes pride in what he does. Drew made a stressful moment feel easy, and I really appreciate it!

In the rain and wind and 50 degree temperatures. This worker has done this to me in the past. On this visit they held my drink out and asked I pull up to next window. At least my food bag didn't dangle out of the restaurant. The customer behind me wasn't so lucky. Please McDonald's, can you train your employees to keep the food inside the restaurant until they hand it to the actual customer and not hang it out to dry and cool off. Prefer my fries hot. “Words can’t describe the emotions I have after eating here. I grew up in Silverton, Oregon. Every weekend my family would have our outing to ‘HomePlace Pizza’. I grew up with it. It was my favorite pizza! And even an emotional, yes emotional connection to this pizza. If you’ve ever had it, you’d know just how incredible this pizza is. Welp, fast forward 40 years. I’ve lived all over. Settled in Camas, WA. Never finding a pizza that is even close to HomePlace…. Well SOB!! I found it at Barrel Mountain! I took a bite... All my childhood memories rushing back. The crust, the flavor, the crispness and fluffiness in the crust. A tear is shed as I look across the table to my wife as she asks… well, similar to HomePlace (for the 109th time). OMG.. it’s the same babe! Ahhhh! just overjoyed! The server (Desere) comes around… how y’all doing? I shed another tear and ask… have you ever been to Silverton, OR? Yes! she replies. I ask - you ever been to HomePlace Pizza? She responds, yes!! and did you know that Don who is the owner of HomePlace taught us EXACTLY how to make that pizza here?!? He taught us how to make the crust, the cooking time, the sit time and even the oven! My jaw drops! I knew it! It is HomePlace pizza! Long story short… Desere is an AMAZING and the friendliness server! And yes, hands down best Pizza on this side of the river! My soul is complete 🙏😊🍕🍕🍕”

I live really close to it and I highly recommend it. It is in the previous chase bank on SE 84th and 137th. Easy access from Padden Parkway. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed. 🥰”

“I’ve been here twice this month, and I’ve enjoyed my meals both times. I usually get their carne asada burrito and a taco, and although it’s a bit pricey, the quality is really great. I highly recommend their al pastor taco and/or their carne asada burrito. The asada is cooked perfectly, with little to no gristle.
My only complaint is that I wish their salsa had more flavor, although the food itself is flavorful enough. I also wish their habanero salsa had a little more heat. Other than that, Super Taco is solid.

And chocolate cake was shared as a dessert. The portions are large so we definitely had leftovers. The food is so flavorful, especially the lamb. Viktoria was wonderful and very attentive. I would absolutely go back to this restaurant again.”

I have had several roles in the wine industry, including as a tasting room manager and wine educator, so am particularly sensitive to quality service and the educational component at tasting rooms. Shout out to Hayden, who was engaging, knowledgeable, and kept a perfect pace for pouring the flight, allowing us enough time to sip and savor while not leaving us waiting, even though it was busy. Not only was the service great, every wine I had was impressive. They were well-made, balanced in flavor and structure, and expressive of Washington while paying respectful homage to their famous European counterparts like Super Tuscans, Bordeaux, and the Rhone. I highly recommend Brian Carter Cellars for great Washington wine and a great tasting experience in a beautiful waterfront setting.”

We shared our love, and sadness, of the Expatriate, a beloved bar that recently closed on Portlands east side. You couldn't find a better place for great drinks, amazing food and top notch service...not to mention the dark and moody ambience was everything you want and more and added to the experience. While not exactly the same, Elbow Room is Vancouvers special something - from old timey movies playing on the TV, creative wall paper and pictures frames, to the nostalgic music in the background, all in all, a wonderful experience.”

Since then, we’ve been there weekly if not more, and every dish is better than the last. We accidentally stumbled upon this restaurant after living here for a few years. It’s a small little storefront that is unassuming. We walked by 100 times and never really noticed it. One Tuesday evening our normal Mexican restaurant had unexpectedly closed so we decided to give this place a try. That was the night that we met Holly. She was an absolute delight, so professional, and friendly!
The drinks here are wonderful! They have a large selection for cocktails and margaritas. We’ve noted multiple times that people enjoy their wine, as well
Food here is solid… I have loved every single dish I’ve ever had except for the salad. However, salad is salad… You get what you get. Every Taco of theirs is absolutely wonderful… I cannot rave enough about how delicious their food is! We often get the Carne Asada and shrimp platter and it’s more than enough for two.
I wish I knew all the names of our servers in the past six months, but every single one of them have been wonderful!
Price is on point and very fair. Outside of Tuesdays when they host trivia via, you can always find a table.
We hope to see people support local more… We would love to see this place here for many many years to come!

Comfortable booths or tables and outside dining are available. I ordered vegan tacos - sautéed onions, peppers, mushrooms, pico, and avocado on soft corn tortillas served with black beans and rice. Delicious and beautifully plated. Their house made flan is creamy, caramel deliciousness and is the best I've had. The fresh squeezed margaritas were made with top shelf tequila. Edwin, the server, was very friendly and attentive. He earned his 30% tip! The prices are just what is expected for food of this quality and the quantity of food makes it worth every penny. And, bonus - the birthday girls wore giant sombreros while they were serenaded with the birthday song and awarded deep fried ice cream! I have eaten at Margarita Factory Hazel Dell before and will go back again and again.”

“My husband and I visited the "Shinsen" sushi restaurant in October 2024. The reason we post this review much later is we just returned home in London, UK. We were very pleasantly surprised from the moment we entered this nice restaurant. The interior design of the restaurant is made from the heart with attention to detail in the theme of the Far East. Next, the friendly atmosphere is created by the restaurant staff. Restaurant chefs prepare dishes right next to you and you can watch it being prepared. During our visit, we tried many dishes and drinks. I must admit that my husband, who is a very picky person and stingy with praise, found the food very tasty and delicious, giving much praises to the staff. I, however, was enchanted by my Violet Eyes cocktail being served "in the fog". We wish this nice restaurant every success.”

Staff are friendly and clear tables quickly to keep the wait time to none most of the time. The noise level is like most restaurants, it depends on how many people are in there. Our go-to for sushi and Japanese. My family loves sushi, but I don't like it and there are still plenty of options for me. Well worth it. You'll love it if you try it.”

Everyone other employee was dressed in attire you would see at Oktoberfest as you would expect in a German restaurant. She was in a very casual oversized sloppy looking sweatshirt or sweater. And although I use a walker, she led my husband quickly to our table, chatted with him while waiting for me to catch up. Then she walked away without even waiting for me to actually get to the table or speaking to me at all - VERY RUDE!! Driving by many times over the recent years seeing the doors closed and the building dark, i would reflect on the countless times sitting there eating my burritos while having many conversations with Ophelia (Mom/Grandma Original Owner) as she would come out and sit with customers when she wasn't cooking. I was so glad to hear the family has pulled it all back together and re-opened MIGUELS! They did have and will continue to have a massive following and they have proven that in the first days of re-opening as they ran out of food. CONGRATS to the MIGUELS FAMILY! Thanks for bringing back the great food as well as the fond memories of times past.”

He was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He showed me around and we talked for close to an hour. The for sale board game selection is thorough and they plan to still add more. They also have a library of games you can play in the cafe. They have about 8-10 play tables and the cafe offers a variety of soups, sandwiches, drinks, and more! I'm really excited to see Contrarian's grow and be a focal board gaming resource for our community.”

We also ordered a breakfast sandwich to share that was fresh and had the fluffiest and warmest bun. What stood out to us most though was how warm and personable the staff was. Highly recommend!!”
