“Visiting friends in Portland, they took us here for Breakfast. Loved the ambiance. After a 30-minute wait (we didn't have a reservation), we were finally seated and waited... and waited... and waited, eventually receiving our order after another 45 minutes. Two of three orders were wrong - I had ordered "The standard" - described as "the standard two eggs* with a choice of bacon or Zenner's sausage served with home fries or field greens and choice of toast". Got it with roasted potatoes. The waiter insisted that's how they would always come - but then served extra fries - and, to make up for the wait, comped us with some of the jummy sweet balls they show in their icon image. I found this nice, but also the only appropriate thing to do to save them from a two-star review. Because the server, whom I found uncharmingly stressed at first, really woke up and sped up his game, I would take the experience and try it again when we visit our friends next time. The place itself is very nice, and the food was tasty - and would under other circumstances qualify for four stars or more (if you have read my other reviews, you may remember that I am rather particular with five stars).”

I’m flexible so went with sausage and cheese for $8. However, size was rather small for the price and it wasn’t all that different than frozen food quality.
The service was quick and place was spacious, so it’s perfect for relaxing in a quiet environment which does not feel cramped.”

Wrinkles The Dog gives Sorridi two paws up, too (he stays outside in the car while Bob and I take turns going inside to pick out our single scoops)!”

Considering I’ve been enjoying their food and service for 15+ years, it’s almost criminal that I haven’t shared my thoughts!
I’ll keep this short and sweet.
This place is fantastic! The food is an excellent value, and I’m honestly surprised they’ve managed to keep their prices reasonable while everyone else is jacking their menus through the roof.
Value aside, what really makes (or breaks) a place, in my opinion, is customer service. And this place has always been excellent.
What stands out to me is that I’ve been seeing the same faces working there for well over a decade. To me, that speaks volumes about the leadership. Customer service is hard, and as a former restaurateur, I know firsthand that the food service industry can be brutal. So it really says something when a restaurant can retain its staff the way this place has.
But the food? It’s great. We usually come for breakfast, but the lunches are delicious too.
The gold medal has to go to the Redneck Benedict. If I had to leave one negative, though, it’d be the burgers. The beef just isn’t very good, and it tastes pretty low quality. I honestly hate even saying that, but it’s true. Still, in 15+ years, that’s the only thing that’s ever disappointed me, and I don’t think that’s much of a knock.”

Everyone other employee was dressed in attire you would see at Oktoberfest as you would expect in a German restaurant. She was in a very casual oversized sloppy looking sweatshirt or sweater. And although I use a walker, she led my husband quickly to our table, chatted with him while waiting for me to catch up. Then she walked away without even waiting for me to actually get to the table or speaking to me at all - VERY RUDE!! Our waitress, server, greeter and the food more than made up for the bad taste she left in my mouth, thank goodness.”

It took me back to my favorite pizza as a child. The menu is pretty broad, everything we had I enjoyed. The service had me smiling. This is a phenomenal place!”

In the rain and wind and 50 degree temperatures. This worker has done this to me in the past. On this visit they held my drink out and asked I pull up to next window. At least my food bag didn't dangle out of the restaurant. The customer behind me wasn't so lucky. Please McDonald's, can you train your employees to keep the food inside the restaurant until they hand it to the actual customer and not hang it out to dry and cool off. Prefer my fries hot. And ketchup on the side.”

“I had to leave a review for Drew at the Subway near Falk Rd — he seriously stood out tonight. It was late, there was a long line, and honestly I was exhausted walking in. But Drew was incredibly kind, calm, and welcoming the whole time.
Even with a full line of people, everyone stayed patient because he kept things moving so smoothly. He was fast and efficient without ever making anyone feel rushed, and his attitude never slipped for a second.
That kind of service is rare, especially late at night. You can tell he genuinely cares about people and takes pride in what he does. Drew made a stressful moment feel easy, and I really appreciate it!

“Words can’t describe the emotions I have after eating here. I grew up in Silverton, Oregon. Every weekend my family would have our outing to ‘HomePlace Pizza’. I grew up with it. It was my favorite pizza! And even an emotional, yes emotional connection to this pizza. If you’ve ever had it, you’d know just how incredible this pizza is. Welp, fast forward 40 years. I’ve lived all over. Settled in Camas, WA. Never finding a pizza that is even close to HomePlace…. Well SOB!! I found it at Barrel Mountain! I took a bite... All my childhood memories rushing back. The crust, the flavor, the crispness and fluffiness in the crust. A tear is shed as I look across the table to my wife as she asks… well, similar to HomePlace (for the 109th time). OMG.. it’s the same babe! Ahhhh! just overjoyed! The server (Desere) comes around… how y’all doing? I shed another tear and ask… have you ever been to Silverton, OR? Yes! she replies. I ask - you ever been to HomePlace Pizza? She responds, yes!! and did you know that Don who is the owner of HomePlace taught us EXACTLY how to make that pizza here?!? He taught us how to make the crust, the cooking time, the sit time and even the oven! My jaw drops! I knew it! It is HomePlace pizza! Long story short… Desere is an AMAZING and the friendliness server! And yes, hands down best Pizza on this side of the river! My soul is complete 🙏😊🍕🍕🍕”

I live really close to it and I highly recommend it. It is in the previous chase bank on SE 84th and 137th. Easy access from Padden Parkway. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed. 🥰”

Where I had an issue with the online ordering the website said the meal would take more than 25min which I knew it doesn't so when I asked to order the gals were only too happy to place it for me . I also took advantage of their take one for $6 for lunch tomorrow. The girls were nice enough to get me something to drink while I waited for my meal on the house . I was able to get 2 meals for under $40 whichas far as I'm concerned is pretty damn good; these days you can't get 2 burger combo's under $30 anymore. So providing my chicken/shrimp carbonara is decent I'd say this was a positive dining experience and would suggest.”

We accidentally stumbled upon this restaurant after living here for a few years. It’s a small little storefront that is unassuming. We walked by 100 times and never really noticed it. One Tuesday evening our normal Mexican restaurant had unexpectedly closed so we decided to give this place a try. That was the night that we met Holly. She was an absolute delight, so professional, and friendly!
The drinks here are wonderful! They have a large selection for cocktails and margaritas. We’ve noted multiple times that people enjoy their wine, as well
Food here is solid… I have loved every single dish I’ve ever had except for the salad. However, salad is salad… You get what you get. Every Taco of theirs is absolutely wonderful… I cannot rave enough about how delicious their food is! We often get the Carne Asada and shrimp platter and it’s more than enough for two.
I wish I knew all the names of our servers in the past six months, but every single one of them have been wonderful!
Price is on point and very fair. Outside of Tuesdays when they host trivia via, you can always find a table.
We hope to see people support local more… We would love to see this place here for many many years to come!

“Summary: Great customer service. First and foremost, the staff were all excellent and the food was good. Large portions, we all took home enough food for another meal, so value seems decent.
If you have been to an olive garden, you pretty much know what your getting food wise, and I feel while this isn't the nicest olive garden in terms of physical restaurant, the staff were all top notch that day.
The food was good, just not great. We got a variety of things, soups, salads, apps, pasta...and whole everything was good, I will go again, nothing was amazing where I'm going to rave about; bread was a little too salted for me, pasta was a little bland, Spinach and archoke dip was good but the chips with it didn't seem to pair right.
Food is subjective even cooked right, for my rating system I feel 3.5-4/5 is the right score but service was so great it's an easy 4.
My system: 5 would be amazing tell your friends, 3 is ok but mundane. 2 could be worse and 1 couldn't.
Atmosphere was nothing special, ok but didn't add to anything. It feels a little dated and could probably use a refresh but was taken care of and neat.
Bottom line, if you've never been to an olive garden, go get some bread sticks there, it's a right of passage. If you have been before, go if you like olive garden, this one is run well.”

We were very pleasantly surprised from the moment we entered this nice restaurant. The interior design of the restaurant is made from the heart with attention to detail in the theme of the Far East. Next, the friendly atmosphere is created by the restaurant staff. Restaurant chefs prepare dishes right next to you and you can watch it being prepared. During our visit, we tried many dishes and drinks. I must admit that my husband, who is a very picky person and stingy with praise, found the food very tasty and delicious, giving much praises to the staff. I, however, was enchanted by my Violet Eyes cocktail being served "in the fog". We wish this nice restaurant every success.”

Staff are friendly and clear tables quickly to keep the wait time to none most of the time. The noise level is like most restaurants, it depends on how many people are in there. And although I use a walker, she led my husband quickly to our table, chatted with him while waiting for me to catch up. Driving by many times over the recent years seeing the doors closed and the building dark, i would reflect on the countless times sitting there eating my burritos while having many conversations with Ophelia (Mom/Grandma Original Owner) as she would come out and sit with customers when she wasn't cooking. I was so glad to hear the family has pulled it all back together and re-opened MIGUELS! I’ll keep this short and sweet.
This place is fantastic! The food is an excellent value, and I’m honestly surprised they’ve managed to keep their prices reasonable while everyone else is jacking their menus through the roof.
Value aside, what really makes (or breaks) a place, in my opinion, is customer service. And this place has always been excellent.
What stands out to me is that I’ve been seeing the same faces working there for well over a decade. To me, that speaks volumes about the leadership. Customer service is hard, and as a former restaurateur, I know firsthand that the food service industry can be brutal. So it really says something when a restaurant can retain its staff the way this place has.
But the food? It’s great. We usually come for breakfast, but the lunches are delicious too.
The gold medal has to go to the Redneck Benedict. If I had to leave one negative, though, it’d be the burgers. The beef just isn’t very good, and it tastes pretty low quality. I honestly hate even saying that, but it’s true. Still, in 15+ years, that’s the only thing that’s ever disappointed me, and I don’t think that’s much of a knock.”

They also have a library of games you can play in the cafe. They have about 8-10 play tables and the cafe offers a variety of soups, sandwiches, drinks, and more!
