“Visiting friends in Portland, they took us here for Breakfast. Loved the ambiance. After a 30-minute wait (we didn't have a reservation), we were finally seated and waited... and waited... and waited, eventually receiving our order after another 45 minutes. Two of three orders were wrong - I had ordered "The standard" - described as "the standard two eggs* with a choice of bacon or Zenner's sausage served with home fries or field greens and choice of toast". Got it with roasted potatoes. The waiter insisted that's how they would always come - but then served extra fries - and, to make up for the wait, comped us with some of the jummy sweet balls they show in their icon image. I found this nice, but also the only appropriate thing to do to save them from a two-star review. Because the server, whom I found uncharmingly stressed at first, really woke up and sped up his game, I would take the experience and try it again when we visit our friends next time. The place itself is very nice, and the food was tasty - and would under other circumstances qualify for four stars or more (if you have read my other reviews, you may remember that I am rather particular with five stars).“

“I often have social anxiety about going out new places with a three year old because it’s uncontrolled chaos. However I believe in integrating my kids into everyday life which means enjoying the occasional breakfast out! I was starving (5 months pregnant) and while they said there would be a 15 minute wait, the owner manager spoke to us and made sure we were sat right away. It felt welcoming and I could feel a huge sigh a relief feeling like less of a burden in that my son was treated so kindly! He had water ready at the table and brought muffins right away. Plus a tablet for my son to draw on. I could have cried. The food was delicious and it felt like enjoying food in someone’s welcoming home. Very grateful to know this exists! Bring the family and tip well!“

“My brother and I went to the Cove last night and they got it right. Everything was excellent! I had the ahi tuna and my brother the scallops. Not a nite left. Even shared a dessert of butter cake ! Our server was awesome“

“My sister's and I went for dinner at Stardust Diner. I had gone to Stardust Diner with a friend prior to when we went. I had not eaten there before. The food was delicious and the waitress and waiters were fantastic making sure we received everything we had ordered and made sure our water glass was filled. If you want to go have breakfast, lunch or dinner the Stardust Diner is the place to go you definitely won't be disappointed and the amount of food you get and the prices are out of this world 🤗🤗🤗“

“Hands down some of the best and most attentive service.i have had from a restaurant, the food was amazing and the falafel is to die for. Their garlic sauce does not disappoint either. I highly recommend giving these guys a shot next time you crave gyros or middle eastern food. Think I may be a regular now haha.“

“Just needed a quick bite and went in for avocado toast - turns out they only had burrito 🌯 due to logical issue with avocados. 🥑

I’m flexible so went with sausage and cheese for $8. However, size was rather small for the price and it wasn’t all that different than frozen food quality.

The service was quick and place was spacious, so it’s perfect for relaxing in a quiet environment which does not feel cramped.“

“Having been raised on the East Coast, I have been searching in vain for the pizza I grew up with. Yesterday, I visited the Thirsty Sasquatch for the first time. My search has ended! The Thirsty Sasquatch is the best "New York Style" pizza I've had since leaving Miami in 1973!“

“First time here today. It smells so good just walking in the door. I'm not sure of the spelling but Devon is so friendly and warm. He was very patient with my never ending questions If you haven't had their homemade bread, you should. I ordered a meat lovers and its as good as any pizza I can remember. It took me back to my favorite pizza as a child. The menu is pretty broad, everything we had I enjoyed. The service had me smiling. This is a phenomenal place!“

It was a great choice for our Saturday brunch.“

“Where do I start. BEST breakfast burrito I've had in a long time!!! Can't wait to go back. UPDATE!!! you can add BEST Taco Salad to the list of reasons to come here! Had to wait 30ish minutes for dinner (very busy on a Saturday night) but Holy moly it was TOTALLY worth it!!!! The taco salad I got was absolutely beautiful!!!! It was a little more than $10 and 100% worth it!!!!“

“Impromptu visit after dinner that did not disappoint! The smells alone were enough for us to want to come back. But the tight space works well. With seating closer to the street, it allows the line to form and quickly exit people in and out.

And then there’s the ice cream itself. Several delicious dairy free options, but the split-single scoop is a genius way to get two flavors without needing to get two scoops. Perfect for older kids / preteens!

“The food was absolutely amazing and the service was great! We ate there tonight and had their hummus appetizer, and the lamb chops, lamb kebobs, and the beef and chicken kebobs entrees. And chocolate cake was shared as a dessert. The portions are large so we definitely had leftovers. The food is so flavorful, especially the lamb. Viktoria was wonderful and very attentive. I would absolutely go back to this restaurant again.“

“We love Crave and have gone there several times. The mac and cheese is beyond great. We love the pasta they use, and the sauce is amazing. I always have extra to take home too. Not your grandma's grilled cheese is another favorite. I personally don't understand the bad reviews. It has been so great every time we go we have been completely satisfied and have told management several times. Compared to a lot of places and fast food at the same prices, it is a no-brainer. “My friend and I had an incredible tasting experience at Brian Carter Cellars. I have had several roles in the wine industry, including as a tasting room manager and wine educator, so am particularly sensitive to quality service and the educational component at tasting rooms. Shout out to Hayden, who was engaging, knowledgeable, and kept a perfect pace for pouring the flight, allowing us enough time to sip and savor while not leaving us waiting, even though it was busy. Not only was the service great, every wine I had was impressive. They were well-made, balanced in flavor and structure, and expressive of Washington while paying respectful homage to their famous European counterparts like Super Tuscans, Bordeaux, and the Rhone. I highly recommend Brian Carter Cellars for great Washington wine and a great tasting experience in a beautiful waterfront setting.“

“I stopped by Lil La Oie for brunch and was completely blown away. The vibe is charming, cozy, and cute patio — the kind of spot you instantly want to spend every sunny Sunday afternoon at. I ordered the French toast with strawberries and clotted cream, and wow. It was more like a dreamy bread pudding than traditional French toast — perfectly soft and custardy in the center with a golden, slightly crisp exterior. Topped with fresh, juicy strawberries and the most decadent clotted cream, it struck that perfect balance between rich and not overly sweet. And then… the alligator sausage on the side. Yes, you read that right. Alligator! It was flavorful, just the right amount of spice, and cooked beautifully. A fun and unexpected treat that totally worked. The service was warm and attentive, the food came out quickly, and the portions were generous without being over the top. You can tell there’s real thought and love behind every dish. Lil La Oie is doing something special — definitely adding this to my regular brunch rotation!“

“We have loved everything about La Sorrentina since it was a food truck, and we’re so happy that they moved into a brick and mortar place. Since then, we’ve been there weekly if not more, and every dish is better than the last. Special entrees, pizzas, and deserts are always so creative and delicious that it makes it particularly hard to decide because the standard menu is filled with favorites too. Daisuke is a master chef, and every single person on his staff is warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Truly one of Vancouver’s gems.“
