“Just needed a quick bite and went in for avocado toast - turns out they only had burrito 🌯 due to logical issue with avocados. 🥑

I’m flexible so went with sausage and cheese for $8. However, size was rather small for the price and it wasn’t all that different than frozen food quality.

The service was quick and place was spacious, so it’s perfect for relaxing in a quiet environment which does not feel cramped.“

They have vegetarian choices and some nice gluten free pastries that are all made on the premises. It’s really cute and clean. The staff is friendly and quick to make you feel welcome. I live really close to it and I highly recommend it. It is in the previous chase bank on SE 84th and 137th. Easy access from Padden Parkway. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed. 🥰“

“Always a great cup of coffee. Both the employees and owners take effort and learn the name of the customer beyond just the type of drink they normally buy. I’ve seen when the owner’s find a shot brewed substandard; they’ve dumped it at their own cost in favor of getting it right. It’s a small thing, but it says a lot. They care for their coffee and for their customers. 10/10“

“This place is absolutely beautiful and the coffee drinks are stellar 👌 The blackberry cream on my latte was delicious and they have decaf espresso for us anxious folks. They also stay open later and have plenty of seating. Please try this place out. You will NOT be disappointed.

“My son is a barista at this location. I came in for a coffee and a sandwich and was so proud to watch his interactions with Customers. Big smile and great attitude. I’ve managed Customer Service for a majority of my career, so watching my son provide excellent service was very fulfilling. All of the kids working at The Great North when I have come in have been wonderful. Management shouldn’t take this for granted. The coffee is good, but you can’t beat great customer service👍“

“The workers are always super friendly and I've liked every single drink they've made so far. The green tea matcha's are delicious and so are the latte's. Sometimes they have baked goods for 50% off that are a day old. I also ordered the Breakfast sando with the Fresno chili peppers 🌶 and it was delicious! It is near my house so I'll definitely come back. They also have banana grams game and other board games.“

Ambiance is cool and invites you to stay and enjoy your drink and/or food. They have really great options, including for vegetarians.
Service is always top notch from the counter, drive thru and barista.
Lots of parking so no issue there.

The lavender coffee is perfect—smooth and never bitter. Their food is delicious, and the staff's passion for the story behind their beans is worth asking about (just try to catch them when they aren't too busy!).

Having worked in the food industry for years, I really appreciate how well this place is run. Their recent layout change, moving the machine off the counter, has created a wonderful, open atmosphere for conversation. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and—importantly for me—very welcoming to my service dog. Whether you need to lounge, focus, or catch up with friends, this is a great spot.“

“I've lived near this Starbucks location for over 4yrs and EVERY visit to this location has been an exceptional experience in customer service, respect and kindness. Yesterday was the icicing on the cake. My debit card would not swipe correctly, holding up the line, the cashier was patient and got her superviser/manager to try to problem solve. The manager quickly assess the situation, asks questions and the resolution ended up allowing me to have my tall cup of coffee complimentarily. But this review isnt about a free cup, its about the way they employees interacted with me during the frustrating incident, how they showed respect and kindness, the friendliness and patience I observed. And the FACT that every visit to this store has been on that same level. I dont go often, but enough to notice GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE when I experience it and I have to say without a doubt these folks bring it consistently. Keep up the great work, I'm so glad you're in my community.“

“The coffee itself is really good, but Black Rock in general could you some work on their mixed drinks. Upcharging me for whole milk when they should just be using it anyways to make lattes is annoying and they use half as much flavor as needed so you need to request extra, which is also an up charge. My drink ends up being almost $7!! The service is great and everyone is nice, but dang, getting a drink made how the rest of the coffee places do it is expensive.“

Fair Trade is only as good as your knowledge of the Industry.Tim and Jen have traveled extensively and know the growers in regions where they source their beans. The true experience is when you are sipping the brewed coffees which are roasted precisely according to the profles of the coffee, the region and cupping process in house.There are lots of coffees I love in the NW. BJ's has a heart for the PEOPLE who are boots on the ground at the plantation levels where the heart of the bean begins. Their heart for the growers is evidenced with thier knowledge of each region and coffee they source for their buyers here, in the retail level. I have purchased thousands of pounds of coffee for 30 plus years from BJ's coffee and have never been dissatisfied. One of my favorite Roasters of many roasters, but my go to at the end of the day!“

“Just had the best experience at this starbucks. My big kids decided to sit at their own table. The barista delivered all our food and drinks to us. When I put cream cheese on the bagels he took them to the table my kiddos were sitting. I was wearing my sleepy baby and the hell just really brightened my heart. I’m ready for a beautiful day 💕“
