“Pretty good quality tea. When you can taste the tea flavor you know the place used good tea quality. Drinks are on the sweeter side so even a 50% sweet level was a little sweet for me. The banana series was pretty good my husband loved it. We got the brown sugar for our friend and he loved it as well. Matcha mooncakes were good, perfect sweet level of the mung bean filling. Only surprise thing for me is i ordered a jasmine milktea but it came out looking like a jasmine iced tea. Then i thought maybe i ordered it wrong? And it was a bit sweet so i ordered a new oolong milktea. It came out as an iced tea , just like the jasmine iced tea. Not sure if we have to request adding milk when ordering? But i haven't experienced ordering a milktea drink looking like iced tea before. Rooms can even be rented by the hour for meetings, workshops, birthdays, showers, crafting, book study, Bible study, or a luncheon as their flier advertises! Rates can be found on their website.They have calm music playing low so good for hearing conversation or studying. The Barista was welcoming and friendly!They offer lovely coffee, loose leaf tea, La Provence pastries, and have breakfast and lunch options as well.There's about 8 parking spots with free street parking all around as well.They did a great job making this building that seems like it was once a home into an impressive business.It's nice that they've incorporated a nice variety of local artisan pieces for sale! The true experience is when you are sipping the brewed coffees which are roasted precisely according to the profles of the coffee, the region and cupping process in house.There are lots of coffees I love in the NW. BJ's has a heart for the PEOPLE who are boots on the ground at the plantation levels where the heart of the bean begins. Their heart for the growers is evidenced with thier knowledge of each region and coffee they source for their buyers here, in the retail level. I have purchased thousands of pounds of coffee for 30 plus years from BJ's coffee and have never been dissatisfied. One of my favorite Roasters of many roasters, but my go to at the end of the day!“

“I have loved blackrock since 2009 when they opened their first store in Vancouver. They make adorable coffee shops and they make good coffee. They also offer snacks, especially at the sit-down locations. The drive-thru only locations have less snack options, but still make good coffee! I don’t usually wait very long when I go in. We worked together and came up with a perfect drink for me, an oat milk salted caramel latte with with pumpkin foam, extra chocolate and caramel drizzle, and cinnamon on top. It was maybe the best drink I've ever had! They were very fun to talk to and I had to go back again the week after to get another one of my super custom drinks.
