“Never drank coffee until I moved to the PNW“
“Grace at Espresso Express is so sweet - taking the time to write a little something on my cup - how can that not brighten my day?!! 🤗 ❤️This is hands down the best place to get coffee in Battle Ground! Not only because their coffee is some of the best I've had & always consistent, but the ladies who work there are all super sweet & they put so much effort into remembering their customers & providing great service! From my first visit when I moved to Battle Ground over 3 years ago, to every visit since (which is nearly every day), I've never had a bad experience. I feel like that says a ton! I rarely have to give my order anymore because they remember it - the only question is if its just mine or both (my husband's). We can always count on the quality being the same every single time, no matter which barista is making our drinks! I promise you will love the gals who work here & you'll enjoy their drinks equally as much! Support this small business the next time you get coffee - you'll become a regular for sure!! 🫶“

“Always friendly and awesome customer service 🤗“
“I first started going to the Battle Ground, WA Starbucks back in 1998 when visiting and staying with my parents regularly in La Center and Battle Ground. I went there today 12/24/2025. Little to nothing has changed. New and more staff, different tables and chairs. Pleasant and helpful staff. Grande Carmel Creme Brulee Latte was Excellent. Dreadfully, Jack In The Box 📦 in the same parking lot has shuttered its operations. GREAT JOB BG Starbucks Crew!!!
Merry Christmas 🤶 🎄 🎅

“I came across this shop while looking for gluten-free goodies of any kind. I don't get to BG often, so I try to find new places when I am in this town.
I love the premise of a space for small, local bakers and artisans to display thier goods and get known in thier local community.
They have everything from locally made hand sanitizer, to laundry soap for sensitive folks, to hand creams and face serums, new and gently used clothing, home decor, small games, stickers, makeup, and much more.
I picked up a hand sanitizer and hand cream from one of the local makers, after bumping into her in the store and chatting for a couple minutes. She makes laundry soap, hand sanitizer, poopori and more. Her sister makes the hand creams, face serum and more, on the same table display. She was very kind and helpful with ingredients as I have very sensitive skin.
There is gently used, reasonably priced clothing in the north-west corner of the building. Much of what is for sale is locally made...very local. I did find some things made far away, so check labels if that is important to you.
The main reason I stopped in was not for the skin priducts I purchased, but for gluten free goodies. I am not in BG often, so I always search maps for gf when I am, as new places open all the time.
This is not a gluten free bakery. They do make and bake the gf at a seperate time, with seperate pans. I am fairly sensitive to cross-contamination and did not get sick. Shared oil or cooking surfaces will cause me much grief. If you need to avoid wheat, like myself, as well as gluten, these cinnamon rolls are a win.
There are two to three gf goodies available here most days. When I arrived, it was two. They had three cinnamon rolls left and three monster cookies at around noon on a weekday. I am not a big fan of monster cookies, so I skipped that and grabbed a cinnamon roll to share with the hubs.
Now, when purusing a new place for gf, it is very hit or miss...mostly miss. So I purchased, expecting to be disappointed as a delicious gf cinnamon roll is kind of a holy grail. I was very pleasantly surprised to find this cinnamon roll, once heated in a 300 degree oven, for ten minutes, was the grail...not quite holy...as the icing could be a bit cream-cheesier. Personal preference varies and I accept I may be in the minority.
The one bite we each took before warming was ok, but the roll was pretty much perfection upon warming. I will be back for this and to try more of this bakers goodies. I will also keep this option in mind for family gatherings, where multiple rolls will be consumed.
That said, the rolls are kept in a shared case, however, they are in a shut, clamshell and brought in from elsewhere, so I felt safe grabbing one and had no reaction. I am sensitive enough shared oil or cooking surfaces make me sick.
Spread the good word...good gf cinnamon rolls are available. Now if I can just track down a contamination-free, fried, good, yeast donut.“

“The food was excellent, and so was the service. The fries are so crisp and cooked just right. They even have a great Greek menu! I had the chicken/hummus pita, which was delicious and the pita was soft, warm, and fresh. My husband, who is picky about his hamburgers, loved the one they serve here.“

“Wonderful service and their brown sugar coffee is absolutely delicious! Best in town.
They placed just the right amount of tapioca (boba bubbles) to last during the whole drink. They are not too big, as to get stuck in the straw.
One thing I really appreciated is the amount of ice they placed in the cup was just the right amount.
Most other boba shops I've been to place too much ice to reduce the amount of drink they have to give, increasing their profit margin in exchange for the customer experiencing a diluted drink after the ice has melted.
5 star, triple A rating. Keep up the good work and may Jesus Christ bless you.“
“Coffee and pastries are decent, atmosphere is cozy. A lot of people complain in reviews about the attitude of the owner, who is usually the only one working. If you're expecting something like what you get at Starbucks--the forced enthusiastic-like conversation asking you what plans you have for the rest of the day and the names of every pet you've ever owned--you can forget it. I've always seen the interaction as a mix of no-nonsense service and a challenge to get her to crack a smile. Sometimes I'm successful, sometimes she wins. But all in all, you ask for something, she makes/serves it--with refrigerated creamer for your coffee, I might add--and you pay her. Sit down or take it to go. It's nice and quiet there.“

“If you’re looking for a place with amazing homemade soup you seriously have to try this place!! I have been going here for years and never been disappointed in any of their soups. The only thing I’ve been disappointed in is my decision to get the smaller cup. Go for the bigger size you won’t be disappointed!! #supportlocalsmallbusinesses“
