We shared our love, and sadness, of the Expatriate, a beloved bar that recently closed on Portlands east side. You couldn't find a better place for great drinks, amazing food and top notch service...not to mention the dark and moody ambience was everything you want and more and added to the experience. While not exactly the same, Elbow Room is Vancouvers special something - from old timey movies playing on the TV, creative wall paper and pictures frames, to the nostalgic music in the background, all in all, a wonderful experience.“

We were on our way to Beaverton and arrived close to closing time, but the staff graciously welcomed us in despite the late hour. The food was absolutely incredible—it's been a long time since I've had something so delicious! Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The service was impeccable; the staff was attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. And I must mention the dessert—it's truly to die for! It was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. Vault 31 offers their own in-house wood-fired pizzas! The owners here make their very own dough, AND sauce! Last night I tried the "Pickle Rick" pizza! Surprisingly delicious. Composed of red sauce, pepperoni, and bread N' butter pickles! YUMMMMM!!!!!!“

“It’s the bar attached to new dragon. Two pool tables that are free to play. Food is from the Chinese restaurant and it’s your standard food. You can order at the bar from the restaurant. Pool, touch tunes and authentic Chinese food… all good for me.

“Been going to this establishment off and on for 30 years. That kind of says it all, but the atmosphere is what makes me come back. The service is exemplary. I don't know the bar person's name, but she is very nice and friendly. I literally just moved about a block from the place, and I'm looking forward to trying their food. I hear good things.“

“the grocery is a downtown vancouver staple! i’ve been coming here for years and always enjoy trying their new seasonal menu items. their mac & cheese, brussel sprouts and house burger are a few of my favorites. the bartenders are very knowledgeable and attentive and are always playing a variety of great music! it’s very laid back and i always feel at home here!“
