“Great experience at Little Conejo! Came here for lunch and got the Suadero Torta which was more than filling. Large portion size for your buck. Also got the seasonal Rhubarb Margarita, and the bartender was super friendly and knowledgeable about Tequila, Mezcal, Raicilla...and beyond. Service was quick and kitchen staff were attentive and friendly.“

Just two of us got a table pretty fast, and the food is some of the best I've had going out in Vancouver after being out somewhere every weekend for the past six months! The corn fritters and honey butter dip were a particularly indulgent treat, and the staff were all friendly and welcoming despite how busy it felt inside.“

“This is the best taphouse in Vancouver. Josh is the best. He's always paying close attention to his customers. He's got a good selection of beers, and he's always got at least one barrel-aged option on tap #18 (thanks Josh). But be prepared to pay. #18 is never cheap. The atmosphere is warm, clean, and inviting. There are a couple TVs and the music playing in the background is always on point. My favorite place. Check it out!Kid-friendliness: 21 and over.“

“TLDR: Food was good, prices a bit high but not astronomical, game library surprisingly extensive, and the staff are awesome, but it's very, VERY loud, so be warned if you have audio issues of any sort.Went for the first time for Valentines Day (which was Halloween 2, kinda cool) with my partner. It was fun, the decor is awesome, everyone was super friendly and helpful, and the burger and fries were great if a bit expensive. I was expecting the price since it's a bar, not a restaurant, but was surprised at how good it was.I'll also point out it's super cool how you can rent a console and game and just play it. We swapped once while we were there, and even though we had to get moved to a different TV, they didn't charge us extra to do it and didn't give us flak about it. Very awesome! The downside for us was the noise levels. The music was so loud we had a hard time hearing each other even when sitting shoulder to shoulder, and obviously we couldn't hear the music from the games we played. My SO also has sensory overload issues sometimes and had effectively a noise hangover the next day despite wearing ear protection. Not something I'm going to be mad about, and we both had a lot of fun going, but it's definitely a once in a great while thing for us. Worth checking out at least once for sure!“

Sellberg's Tavern Bar • $
2110 St Johns Blvd, Vancouver

“Ok, if you are looking for a trendy bar that serves $20 cocktails that you had to wait 30 minutes for, then this is probably not the bar for you. This bar is cozy and the atmosphere is what I loved about the place. Yes, it would be described as a dive bar, but not the type that you might picture where seedy transactions and shady people are gathering. This place has personality and plenty of friendly people who will actually chat with you and get to know you. It attracts a good crowd but you will still receive fast and friendly service. The food was tasty; don't expect a fancy meal, the menu is populated by traditional bar style comfort foods such as hamburgers, fries, and pizza, but its all delicious. The drinks are also reasonably priced and mixed well. There is shuffle board and several pool tables, plenty of room at the bar, tables inside, and there is also an outdoor fenced in patio area.Best part: The bathrooms are spotless! I was there with friends for several hours and the condition of the bathroom never changed; everything was clean and well stocked.I think we have found a new favorite casual hangout spot!“

“I often visit Auto's for lunch to sit down, have a beer and enjoy one of the best burgers in Vancouver. Yes, the burgers here are even better than dedicated burger joints in town. Beef is fresh chuck, and the buns are a perfect bed for all of the ingredients. They're even embossed with Auto's logo. Juicy, cooked to perfection, and super flavorful. If you're a burger snob like ne, you'll really understand just how great their burgers are. I order the classic with cheese and a load of tots, and I'm set! Staff is amazing and the crowd is usually friendly and social. The interior is spacious, but could use a bit of updating as it does have old and worn feel when building first walk in. Still, it's a pub and I highly recommend a visit. A great value for sure!“

“So I've been to three other BBQ places in Vancouver and this place so far the only one to actually serve chopped brisket instead of just sliced. In my opinion as an Okie it is the best way to eat brisket while smothered in BBQ sauce. So many thanks for chopping it, it reminds me of my hometown and very good to eat.“

Tender Green Lounge Bar •

“My previous review was from 7 years ago. I realized, it's time for an update! :) Their food doesn't make me sick anymore. I haven't given up on them! Lol. I know MSG is in Doritos and a lot of other foods we eat everyday and I am sensitive to high quantities of sodium. Did they have MSG in their food??? I can't remember but hopefully I asked them before I posted that. I don't care anyways if there is MSG. Uncle Roger approves!! I try to steer clear of it but my body needs sodium and I LOvE it. It's a love hate relationship, all in moderation, yes?! So anyways, the update: The food is delicious and I love that they updated the front of the restaurant. Their customer service has always been great. Very nice people and they are very attentive to my needs and my cravings lol I love that I can drive by after a long day, order some food from them and zone out while I wait for my order. Bringing my treasure treats home, I always pass out in a food coma after their meals. This is a good thing! I would give another star if they updated the inside of the restaurant with tables and chairs, some interior design. Thank you!“

Elbow Room Bar • $

“I've passed by this place a lot since I work in downtown Vancouver, but I've never stopped by until last week! Now I've been here a couple of times and would highly recommend the restaurant. The service is top-notch and all the waitresses are super sweet and seem to care about their customers. I am not a regular yet, but they are so kind especially to the friendly faces that they see often! It's very much an all-American diner feel on the inside, but I like how clean it is compared to other local diners. Best of all, the food is awesome. Their soups are fresh and tasty, and they have a lot of lunch favorites in big servings at great prices! Their chicken tenderloins have a satisfying saltiness to them, and I especially love the French fries. Would highly recommend.“
