“First time going in to this place to eat. We’ve ordered delivery a couple of times in the past with mixed results. But this was sooooo good! We will definitely be returning. I got the chicken Piccata which was the special. The portions were huge, came out pretty quick and super yummy. I also had a cup of clam chowder that was very tasty. My husband ordered the Ribeye dinner. Everything was tasty. I stole a piece of his broccoli and that was cooked perfectly and perfectly seasoned. Very happy with the food, service and atmosphere. Excited we’ve found another great place!“

“Service and food are very good ? I had the filet mignon, baked potato with all the fixings, and asparagus. Steak was the perfect med well, bearnais was so good I drizzled some on top of my asparagus too. Although the aesthetics are quaint with simple plating, it was clean with a very friendly energy. They serve food at the bar or on the Cafe side. It's a small space, but so worth the trip. The owner herself makes the best augratin potatoes which is offered as a side with the meal. They also offer a crab cake topped filet mignon for only $2 more.Pricing for filet mignon dinner was only $23. Rolls were also served at the table. This really is a great value for good food!!! This was on a Saturday when they also serve prime rib. I will definitely try that next visit!!!“

The back smoking area was nice. the owner had decorated very well with all the beer signs around the fenced area. This is my second time to the bar. Very consistent as far as service goes. “Portions are huge !! Bring your appetite and some loose jeans because you will be leaving with a full belly. Food is really well seasoned and the waiting time wasn’t too bad. The drinks are also really good! They had a mariachi band when we arrived so that was pretty neat! Will be coming back again.“
“Had the chicken strips end fries, we also ordered the mozzarella sticks. The chicken strips were more like chicken fingers, and the breading was bland. The fries were way undercooked, and we didn't eat them. The mozzarella sticks were good, and we would order them again. I would not get the chicken strips and fries again. Service was good. I only saw 1 bartender, and she was keeping up and very friendly, especially since there were a lot of people there.They have a ton of oil tables, I also saw dart boards for those who like to play darts.The parking lot is a nightmare. “It's usually eh, for the most part. It's hit or miss when you go there although you get some pretty different crowd in there as well. You just never know what it's going to turn out to be like. There is pool though if you want to play pool. They keep their tables pretty nice and have a DJ.“

I waited a while but they said the ticket never went to the kitchen. I don't know if that was true or if someone forgot to ring it in, but I get it, I used that excuse all the time when I was a server. They gave me a horchata for my wait and it was delicious. Had the chicken tinga tacos and they're better than Little Conejo. Definitely still less spicy because of all the white people in Vancouver, but still has a kick.All of this to say, I will be back. “It's a working person's bar in an industrial area that is often an easy stop during afternoon Happy Hour. Simple menu, many cold beers on tap, Sports TVs everywhere, and friendly fast service. So... when I'm thirsty, hungry and need a break, I stop. 2-2024 update: Yes, I still hit Charlies - especially Tuesday for their "Taco Tuesday" (If you couldn't tell from my photos). They have a different theme for each day. I remember Wednesday as well: "Wing Wednesday" many different finishes for the wings. You have to try them all so you can find your favorites!“
