“I enjoy going there when the bartender with the bangs and glasses is there because she's always very friendly and talks with me as I'm sitting at the bar by myself. She also makes sure to ask me if I'm enjoying myself and the food that I'm eating. However, the last time I was there, there was a male bartender with a mustache and he hardly said two words to me. Lame. I'm so tired of male bartenders that have the personality of a wet towel. If you don't enjoy being in the hospitality industry, find another career.
Also, for the 45 minutes I was there there was absolutely NO music playing. The whole vibe of the bar was completely different, and not for the better.
I really enjoy the food and I usually enjoy the service, but I think I'm going to make sure that I keep walking by on the days when the mustache man is there. Not trying to be sexist, but like I said... So many male bartenders in Portland have absolutely no hospitality or conversational skills. It gets old. I'm a blue collar worker who is also in the industry and I'd really like to have some genuine hospitality when I go out and spend my hard-earned money in local establishments. If I can maintain my hospitable nature after being in the industry for many years, surely YOU CAN TOO! Lol. It isn't that hard to be friendly, hospitable and welcoming. And if it is??? You're probably in the wrong industry.“

“I walked into this establishment after sitting in the sun for awhile and needing a quick but refreshing pick me up! 😁 Sofia the bartender was quick to service and served me my vodka lemonade 🍋 and patiently attended to the other patrons sitting space fully around the bar. The cook Jay cracked a joke and it immediately caught my attention and made me smile 🤙😁 he has pretty cool tattoos too. Sofia gracefully served me the taco 🌮 Tuesday menu after my drink was heavily and fast drank as if it were air to breathe. I ordered the 3 ground beef tacos and immediately was serviced with 3 masterpieces from Jay back there servicing love and art in a taco tuesday mood. I love both of the hospitality of these two. Thank you guys and I'll be back again!“

“Found The Buffalo Gap last weekend while attending a bike Show. About a mile from my stay and way better than the Boujie hotel I was at. The Bartenders and Waitresses were all awesome Great service, nice smiles and great food and drink. Thank you all I appreciate you and my new hoodie.“

“Came in from out of town; Reds is a great place to have a great meal, a new cocktail special every day, and they have a few slot machines and a couple of pool tables. It's a very warm and welcoming environment with an outdoor patio and a great place to watch sports with a big screen and Loud TV. The prices are very reasonable and the drink specials and food specials are fantastic. I'm on my way there now!“

“The food is always quite good and very affordable! Service is good. Daily specials never let you down. With a very large menu, you can always find something good. Many will find the booths horribly uncomfortable as are the picnic table style center tables. Don't go for comfort!“

“One of the local dive bars that is good for lottery around town. It surprises me every time when they are frying a bunch of food in a big cloud of smoke comes out the top of the building. It always smells like wonderful fried Chicken when I'm driving by. I highly recommend it.“

“I've been here twice now and had a great time both nights. Lori is awesome and when I left my wallet here last night they found it for me and kept it safe. When I picked it up all of my cash was still in there. Good food and environment, and the staff is fun and trustworthy.“

“Bar food gets a bad rap. Personally, some of my favorite dine-in meals have been at bars. Twilight Room is one of the best. My husband and I recently visited for lunch. I ordered the fish & chips and my husband ordered a burger. The homemade fries were delicious! We came in for lunch on a weekday, so it wasn't crowded. We ate and played pool for a couple of hours. Our bartender was also great. She gave me some drink recommendations and was extremely attentive. In hindsight, I wish that I would have taken some photos to share.“

The bartender Stormi was totally kickass and down to earth; you could tell that her upbeat personality set the mood and everyone in there was feeling that same way. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and genuinely happy that I actually didn't want to leave... I almost never go to bars but, if you do; I'd definitely recommend trying this one. ??
Being friendly and caring really does go a long way and can do more for some people than you may know. ??

“This place is a hidden gem in the Portland market. They have exceptional food, quality cocktails, and friendly staff. It is also a great place to watch Sunday football. I rarely give 5 Stars across the board, so you might want to stop in.“
