“Always enjoy going to C I. Always make a point to stop in when I'm in town. Sadly can longer take my father do to age. He loved going just as much. If you can make it over, I highly recommend it. The Nachos are always fantastic. Prices are not high at all, very reasonable. The employees are just as fantastic and do care. Keep up the awesome work.“
“Great service, huge portions and nice atmosphere. Really clean bar and I appreciate that the most. Food was decent quality and the portions were huge- definitely the kind of size you could easily split with someone else with an appetizer and feel full. They have indoor and outdoor seating, upstairs is the primary bar/kitchen.“
“The first time I came here with my ex, and it was great. I've been here since, and still great. So who doesn't love consistency? There's something soothing about a bar with great food, good atmosphere and a sense of purpose that I couldn't find in my previous relationship...“
“Absolutely loved dining here before our concert at crystal ballroom. With the venue right around the corner it was a great spot to sit at the bar get cocktails and have a REALLY yummy dinner. I highly recommend the fried Brussel sprouts (they are gf) and the steak salad was also yummy ! Can’t wait to come “
“It's been a while I've been here and their menu has changed which is understandable. I had their bacon burger and I loved the previous version. The bun was over toasted vs soft. I think next time I'll request no toasting. It won't stop me from coming back because this place has the best customer service and the owner and daughter are great. I'll be back to try something else.“
“A Portland institution with no cover for the early show. Lots of people, eating, vegan or vegetarian food, but with organic burgers available as well. Lots of people who are dressed as though they could immediately go on a hike or would feel comfortable with the Oregon country fair. People dancing by the stage. Lots of local talent and people who know each other. An intimate local bar that won't cost you an arm and a leg.“
“Our area needs more small businesses and especially restaurants! We wandered into Gambino's one day, and we've probably been back a half a dozen times now! It's a super cute and cozy environment, food is amazing, and service is always great! Definitely recommend trying it out, you won't be disappointed!“
“Love The Dugout. Service is great. Friendly staff. We come here every week and we feel like family. Kaylee is absolutely amazing. She alone is a reason to stop by. So friendly. Feel like we have been friends for years. Food is priced right. Wings and tots are worth it. Karaoke is fun and low pressure. This is our spot.“
“We were in town for a short trip and came across this place while we looked for a food place for dinner. The entrance to the bar just looked like any typical bar. But we saw the outside patio and decided to enjoy the gorgeous weather. The menu looked great, and we ended up with the fireside pork chop and asian chicken salad. The pork was perfectly cooked but tender. Paired well with compote, the potatoes, and vegetables medley. Loved that char on the chop. The chicken was great too.We also ordered the bacon apple fritters for its uniqueness but also the description (must read). It was satisfying but super rich. Will dine here again if we were to return to Beaverton.“
“Loved everything about this cute place. My Thai bowl was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Staff was super friendly and not pushy. I was there with my girlfriend and we were there about 2.5 hours and no one was pushing us out. Will recommend and be back.“
“Recommended by a friend and I have to say really great burgers and fries with a really good microbrew selection. Service was also excellent, cool relaxing atmosphere. When I left the place i was thoroughly stuffed and satisfied, could easily have stayed for a few more pints though, likely next time!“
“My family visited Hops and Drops Friday 4-5-24. Everyone ordered different menu items. All enjoyed their meal. I had the Monster French Dip. That was the best I've had. Even though I live in Newberg, when I am hungry for French Dip I'm coming to your restaurant.“
“For some reason I always forget just how great Virginia Cafe is. And then I go in and order a drink and a burger and wonder why I’m not here more often. Great food, great atmosphere, great location. What more can you ask for? Seriously, come by for a bite if you are in Downtown Portland at all.“
“This is a great community dive bar. It’s clean, the staff are great and the food is tasty (and at a relatively good price). Their pancakes are fluffy and delicious.Vegetarian options: You can request no bacon/meat on a lot of their dishes to make them vegetarian. My wife loves their breakfast burrito and short stack.“
“Jimmy’s is a great neighborhood spot where everyone is welcome. The bartenders are friendly professionals, they have ALL the sports, including NFL Sunday ticket. No matter the time of year and/or one’s sports preferences, they always know what people want to watch, and have cool vibe tunes playing when there’s not a big game on. The food is mostly average bar food, but the specials and homemade soups are legit. The hand battered chicken tenders are one of my guilty pleasures. Also recommend the hummus plate, and 2 for $4 Taco Thursday ?“
“McQueen’s is your local pub with great food, drinks and service. So much fun in a local place. You instantly feel at home. The onion rings are next to none. I had the quarter pounder hamburger with Swiss cheese and grilled mushrooms. So good! The bartender Lisa made us feel like we were part of the neighborhood regulars.“
“Jarboe's Grill is fantastic! We came down from Vancouver, WA to meet family and I'm so glad we visited Jarboe's. The food was delicious. The fries were unlike any I've had before and were really, really good. The place looked great with comfortable seating, plenty of space and a fun little arcade area for kids. Our group was meeting to celebrate/remember the birthday of a loved one we recently lost. I really appreciated the care and concern shown by the staff. They went above and beyond to take care of us and treated us so nicely, taking care of us, while giving us the space we needed. Thanks so much Travis and staff!Kid-friendliness: A few fun arcade games to keep the llittle ones occupied“
“Hands down, best Prime Rib Dip (French Dip)of my life. Could take or leave the mozzarella sticks and fried pickles. But the prime rib dip so far out shadows the mediocrity of the sides that it deserves a 5/5. The huckleberry lemon drop was also exceptional and the vodka tonic fully met my expectations. But the Tuesday special prime rib dip was so good I’ll be back just for that! Service was also exceptionally responsive.Parking: Easy to find a spot on a Tuesday night“
“We were in the area and looking for a breakfast place. We had a great experience here. We will definitely be back when in the area. Casual environment with friendly employees. Menu is straightforward and reasonable prices. Food was good and seemed fresh.“
“The sandwiches and burgers here are so phenomenal I've been thinking about them for days after. There are a variety of beer styles -- not just IPAs -- and the beers on tap are excellent. If you're looking for a large tap list or frequent new things to try this isn't the place to go.“
“Great Atmosphere in a fun area of town. The nachos are to die for. The best I’ve ever had. My boyfriend loves to watch the live games there, And we both enjoy Thursday night bingo. The owners and the staff are wonderful and very accommodating. Would recommend this bar to anybody!“
“Easily one of the best neighborhood bars in Portland. One of the best bar burgers as well (not a smash burger). Just a really nice spot to hang out and have a drink.Very popular, so seating (especially for groups of 3+) can be tough during peak hours. But a“
“Driving from California, needed fuel, missed the turn, went over freeway, turned around, stopped at a gas station, ready to get going again, saw dive bar, it said open on the sign, went in, everybody watching sports, didnt realize it was sunday cause driving 3 days, nice girl", approaches us as we just sat ourselves cause we were just tired, asks if we'd like something, mentioned a special, brought my beer quickly as i traded driving with my friend, "A very large Stella Draft?, had wings, tipped her well,AND THEN ...ON THE ROAD AGAIN...Home.Perfect place, clean, better than good food, atmosphere was easy, all types were in there. That's the mark of a good place.. check it out..“
“Food was not bad, had the blue cheese burger which was good, but the mac and cheese could use an upgrade for sure. Service was great, really friendly each time. And it might be the only place I've seen that isn't jacking up their prices... yet. Same burger and fry is about $4- $5 more at Clancys for “
“It's our local neighborhood go to.. for us that are 21 & older only, type establishments, with in walking distance close by our home. Weather or not we're there with a little, or a lot of cash to play the lottery, eat, or just to purchase a pack of cigarettes. We are treated kindly, every time. That's what keeps us coming in as repeat customer's. Thank you, to all the kind staff, for making us feel welcomed.“
“Been visiting a few years now.Great happy hour food menu. One of my go to's is the White Cheddar Mac & Cheese made with cavatappi noodles and white cheddar cheese (like home-made).I add the grilled chicken on top.Well....menu changed to boxed mac & cheese, so disappointing!!!!The grilled chicken helped flavor but the noodles.....you know, wimpy noodles from a box.Too bad!First photo is of recent mac and cheese...notice the elbow noodles and the cheese sauce. The second and third photos are of previous mac and cheese orders with cavatappi noodles and real cheese.Parking: Tight parking spaces but lots of them“
