Experience Vancouver's Mexican food at these fantastic spots. Try the best Carne Asada, Pupusas, Quesadilla, and more in town.
“This is my favorite Taco spot in the city of Vancouver WA. I've been in the NW for over 23 years coming from central California. These tacos are in the Top Five All time on my list (considering the Mexican food from California being Top notch). I love this place and recommend Woody's for enjoying Fantastic Mexican food and a great atmosphere.“
“It's a good restaurant with excellent service. Fantastic fresh chips with delicious salsa. Food isn't mind blowing, but it's good. The prices are fair, but not cheap. I would recommend for the service and authentic feel.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu with many options. Fair prices“
“We had some of the best service we have ever had ANYWHERE in a very long time. The server was very nice and knowledgeable about everything and what she didn't know was very quick to find the answer to our questions. At the end we had an unexpected issue with our card and luckily we were able to get it resolved but both the server and the manager that came to help were super nice and compassionate. The team here was just amazing. Thank you Mariah and Jeff(? The manger that helped us) and who ever the other person was that got the box for my nachos he was super friendly and had a great idea for the left over nachos we will have to try!“
“What can I say. I really liked everything about it. They took our 25 top and handled it like extreme professionals. All the food came out hot and fresh with no errors. The staff were amazing. The decor is pretty traditional for a Mexican Restaurant in suburban USA but it was so fresh and clean.“
“Not the best tacos but they come LOADED so if you’re hungry and need a fill at an affordable price you got the hottest taco shop on the BLOCK.Also don’t order 8 tacos like I did I’m so full I could only inhale 6 and that was pushing it ??“
“I won’t rate the food because I met a big group of friends there. There is plenty of parking and it’s free after 6 so it’s a good place to leave your car if you want to travel by bike across to Portland. My friends all really seem to like to food for what it’s worth! ❤️“
“My family loves Birrieria PDX. We would go there every time we passed through Portland. We were so excited to see Maria was one finally moved into Vancouver! Same great service, same great food.Maria is so sweet and patient while customers were ordering.“
“I've had the best Tacos in the Portland-Vancouver metro area here! They use fresh and soft corn tortillas along with a generous amount of fillings for their classic and specialty tacos. The quality and attention to detail is comparable to a restaurant. The place has a nice vibe with outdoor seating and great music!“
“I can’t say enough good things about Su Casa Marquez. Everyone who works here is friendly and fun to talk to. The food is out of this world delicious. This place is 10000% my guilty pleasure. The quesabirria tacos and consome are to die for and my absolute favorite (and they’re so much better than the overhyped food truck down the street). My guy loves the lengua burrito and gets it almost every time. The salsa is the bomb. I love that they offer pupusas as well, they remind me of hanging out with my Salvadoran best friend in high school, being fed delicious pupusas by her mom. Food that reminds you of home is rare and I’m grateful to this place for bringing back those memories. I only have good things to say! If you haven’t been here, you’re missing out.“
“?Service ✅Burrito ✅Salsa ✅You want a burrito, you get a damn burrito. These were huge and delicious. Great hangover food.If it’s cold or rainy you can get a buzzer and wait in your car. I’ll be back sometime for sure.Parking: Right by the shell station. Plenty of parking everywhere around.“
“The food was very delicious, however the carne asada tacos included salsa on them which we did not know beforehand (to go order), it's tasty but way too spicy for those who can't handle hot salsa. Pastor super burrito hit the spot, I think it included the salsa but it did not say on ingredients list. Will definitely come back, most authentic I have found in Vancouver.“
“The Equadorian Tamale was delicious. The servers, so nice. Our guy had a great sense of humor. We had a beautiful family lunch with superb South of the border cuisine. It was fun to try another culture's food along with our Mexi faves.“
“Very nice experience. The food and drinks came out very quickly. And our horchatas were brought out with chips and salsa. Everything was of high quality and tasted great. Although somewhat lacking in atmosphere (but who cares for a quick eat taqueria, right?) the place was very clean.“
“First time here and overall the best, most authentic Mexican restaurant in town. The atmosphere is cheerful but, at least during the lunch we were there, quite loud. The only down side the service was quite slow. The 4 of us ordered drinks. My jalapeño margarita came just before our food. The other 3 didn't arrive until we were almost done eating. The bartender was also waitressing half the restaurant. She made great drinks and provided friendly service but trying to do both wasn't the best situation. We'll definitely go again.“
“We love good Mexican food and this place has it! We are blessed to be able to occasionally visit Mexico and this place is nice for in between vacation times. Very friendly staff and the prices are reasonable, in my opinion. Check them out! :)“
“AWESOME food and big portions. And the lady inside is just the absolute sweetest. Wait time isn't long at all. They also have birria tacos! Perfect snack to pair with the cold ones I'm grabbing from the mart next door lolParking: Parking spots by the mart and street parking as wellKid-friendliness: It's a taco truck lol“
“We had our work party here and it was the perfect choice. 1/6/24The restaurant is fancy, drinks are large and custom made, the food is delicious and served hot. Free chips and salsa. The menu caters to every dietary need. Vegan, pescatarian, meat eater, and everyone in between. Every meal comes with “The works” which is beans and rice. Brilliant!Service for our group of 11 was fabulous!I’d like to mention the every table was full, yet our service felt like we were the only table in the place. Congratulations to a restaurant that knows how to staff, serve and make their guests feel special. Great attention to detail! The staff was so friendly and welcoming, they know how to handle a crowd!I highly recommend coming here for the food, but also for the great service! Cheers to 2024Vegetarian options: Full page of vegetation options.Dietary restrictions: The menu is large offering meals for all needs.Parking: Large area for parking.Kid-friendliness: Tables of all sizes, family friendly, great for work events.“
“Hands down the best tacos we've ever had. We tried the fish, shrimp, asada, pastor, and carnitas, and they were all delicious. My only complaint is that the carnitas aren't shredded, and that's not my preferred preparation. The shrimp was so tender and cooked perfectly.“
“The food here was amazing! The price is pretty good for how delicious the food was. The server was willing to help explain the menu and super polite for both English and Spanish speaking customers around us. The wait can be a little bit, but the burritos are loaded and worth “
“Perfect place for delicious homemade tamales. I got the number 5 which came with three tamales in their signature green, red and avocado sauces with fresh Pico de Gallo. They were fantastic and I washed down my meal with a good old fashioned Mexican Coca-Cola.“
“Rosa and her nephew were so nice and the tamales were really good. I can't wait to go back and try their other dishes. It was a last minute decision to stop in and pick up dinner and my wife was really glad that I did. I scored some big points for that and their good food made it a really great experience. ?“
“So yummy! So glad I found this food truck near home! Skip DoorDash if you’re ordering for self-pickup and save yourself 30% by not ordering direct through the food truck’s website/Square… it’s the same prices as their very reasonably-priced walk/up menu.Example, a delicious Quesotaco (highly recommend!) is $3.75 direct from the truck’s website, but $4.99 through DoorDash self-pickup (and that’s before any extra DoorDash fees). A California burrito is $11 direct and $15 before fees for DoorDash self-pickup.“
“MOST AUTHENTIC TACOS IN THE PNW. Ive tried them all and had to fly down to LA for some real tacos last month. But now Ive found this taco truck and it is BEAUTIFUL! ?. Juicy meats (which is seriously lacking in this area) and flavor!!!! I wont go anywhere else. BEST TACOS!! ?????❤️❤️❤️❤️“
“The best hidden gem I’ve found in a long time. Had what could possibly be the best chorizo breakfast burrito I’ve ever had, along with a very delicious michelada. Also couldn’t resist getting a quesabirria, which was just amazing cheesy goodness. Mad I’ve never been there before, but you can guarantee I’ll be coming back for sure.“
“Came down to Vancouver WA to remodel a home and the homeowner brought me to Las Flamas for dinner. I wouldn't have ever found this place on my own but glad we came in. The food was decent and the drinks were so delicious ?. The staff and waiters were super kind to us. I'll definitely be coming back.“
“It's a great place if you know. If you know the tamales are at the register. If you know where things are, if you know what they are. It's a clean place, seems well managed, people are nice enough - but more accommodating if you speak Spanish. Doesn't bother me. I think it's rating is too low, should be a 4.6 or so.“
“Genuinely surprised by the food here! The fajita burrito was VERY good!. Only downside are the prices. This place is a little on the expensive side at about $17-$30 a plate but the portion sizes are very large! Don't let that steer you away though! This place is very good!“
“I was there for a "lunch date" . It's a nice out of the way little place, clean, cool atmosphere, with good food. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars ✨️ is because the music playing was kinda of loud, so it leaves no room for intimate conversation. Other than that, I WOULD recommend this place to eat.Wheelchair accessibility: This place is wheelchair accessible.“
“Our Families favorite birthday dinner place for over 40 years. The food is fantastic and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is energetic, organized and friendly. The drinks are well made and abundant. The service is very personable, attentive and fun.“
“My mother and I went here last week. Been here a handful of times and their food is always good. This time I had gotten a burrito with chicken and carnitas, and this was my first time not really liking what I ordered. It was ok, but the carnitas did not taste like carnitas, it tasted like beef that was cooked in a crockpot. Maybe they accidentally gave me the wrong meat? My mother loved her chicken quesadilla, she always ordered the same thing. Their chips and hot sauces are really good. I've noticed every time we have come here, it's been all female workers each time, which is cool the restaurant itself is nice inside. Lots of space for seating, and welcoming energy.“
“Decent Mexican food for the price. They do not charge for chips and salsa and didn’t make me ask for a dang bathroom code when I needed to use the bathroom. The workers were also very nice. Over all, for what it is, it does a great job!“
“I have been going to this taco truck for 4 years now. I love my street tacos and out of all the taco trucks I been to in Clark County this one is the best. $2 a taco and the meat is always fresh tender and the red salsa they make is very good. Has a nice heat with very good flavor. Also service is always good the lady working the register is kind always a smile and food comes out fairly quick even if their slammed on a lunch rush.Keep up the good work because I always come back for more ??“
“Love this place!!! Omg the Mojarra Frita!!!! The best one I have ever had. It's cooked perfectly every single time, top it with garlic gravy and your set for life. Staff is so sweet and kind we always go here, don't be discouraged from 3.9 stars. My wife and I were for a Long time and regret it so much. This place rules!! Best seafood around by a mile. Can't recommend this place enough.“
“First visit to 4 Caminos!Won't be the last!I enjoyed the chicken enchiladas with mole sauce. Stuffed with ample, juicy chicken. The mole was a bit on the sweet side, but nothing that a dash or two of chili oil didn't cure. The beans and rice were even above average.Looking forward to my next visit to try some other dishes.“
“First time there. Loved the chips and bean dip. The waiter was friendly and took our order quickly, and the food came out within 10 minutes. We order a combo with a tamale, taco, and enchiladas with chicken. I didn't care for the tamale kind of dry. Enchilada and taco were good. We'll try something else time. Overall, we liked “
“Gave it 5 stars because its exactly what i expect of a good mexican food restaurant. Food is amazing, im writing the review as we eat. Ordered the Fiesta tapito Appetizer platter and the Mexican pizza even a kids meal chicken nuggets and fries. Goood job!“
“They're celebrating 50 years this year, and they deserve it. I have been coming back my entire life, and my family makes sure to come back any time we're in town. It's a lovely nostalgia trip with excellent food and service. Make sure you bring cash! No cards accepted here.“
“Just watch the guest traffic. Constant. Great lunch crowd...and dinner crowd. Torta Cubana huge and excellent. All meals tasty and filling. Service is excellent and cleanliness is a religion here. Love this place. Have been coming here for one year. Look at the other Mexican fast food places around this one. .no customers. But don taco is always busy. You must try this place out. Great food..“
“Stumbled upon this gem! I haven’t had tacos this good in a long time! I had the nopales taco, fish taco, we also had the salsa/guac starter, pollo taco and a flight of the clay pot mezcal.First off - the food was top shelf. So good, and amazing flavors! The nopales were cooked perfectly and definitely hand cut. The fish taco was perfection. One thing to note is to be sure to ask about the spice level if you need mild as all our dishes were decently spicy. They make (and sell!) their own from scratch salsa and we’ll definitely be buying more. There was a spot years ago in Vegas we found that had similar salsa this good and we haven’t found anything like it since then - this had all the flavors and the deep smokiness that really makes salsa next level. 11/10 approve!Service and staff were very friendly and helpful, atmosphere is loud, but cozy.We had the clay pot flight of mezcal. If you’re feeling adventurous and familiar with mezcal give this one a whirl. If you’re new to mezcal, I would get the recommend smoke bomb flight. Of the three in the clay pot flight, one was deliciously smoky, one was like blanco tequila with a misting of smoke, and the third was a very sweet smoke I would classify as for the very adventurous only.Perfect spot a block off Ester Short park. We’ll definitely be back.“
