“Sliding in hot to the Lost Lounge, came in late in the evening (for me!) to McMenamin's latest speakeasy, and we had some amazing wings and tiki style drinks. “Visited on a weekday for lunch. We sat indoors but had a nice view of the river. There is also outdoor seating. It was moderately busy around happy hour time and the clam chowder and sliders were delicious. My husband enjoyed their IPAs and had a few bites of his steamer clams, which he said were the best he had in years...and my son said the brisket sandwich were also delicious. Parking was reasonable and location is nice. It took some time to wait for the food, so keep in mind if that would be an issue for a business lunch or something as it may take time. But it was worth the wait. There were also a few flies in the restaurant that were bothersome/irritating.“

Beer is mid. I tried Fracture's Pale and west coast IPA: nothing to write home about, nothing to complain about. Very west coast flavor that neither pushes boundaries or offends.

“Excellent Coffee Tour. The gentleman that did the tour was extremely knowledgeable about all things coffee. It was easy to follow the things that he said and we were able to sample the Sumatra and Kenya blends. I Love That Mcmenamins makes the extra effort to make sure they are working with fair trade brands and no chemicals. Its so cool to learn about the ends and outs of roasting the beans and the formulas they have to follow. I had no idea all that went into making an awesome cup of coffee.“

It was just liquid sitting in a glass, refusing to participate in bubbles. If you ask for a head on your beer here, they think you are talking about anatomy. The service was so quick that I didn't even have time to reconsider ordering a sandwich in a place where people used to get buried. The patio was really quiet. I like quiet patios, because plants make good listeners, and nobody out there asked me what I was doing with my afternoon. “The poutine was just OK. They need to add pocked 9 ions and pickled jalapenos as standard and allow you to take them off if you don't like them. Also, the best poutine I have had has braised beef or pulled pork or some sort of meat to balance all the flavors.

The beer was very good. I tried their reserve stuff and their bourbon barrel aged beer and they were pretty good - all of them.“
