Came here for Portland Sandwich Week. Left with a happy tummy. Tasty pulled pork, didn't need bbq sauce added. Good quality, juicy meat. The veggies and pickles accented the flavors. Per the hubs, tastiest pulled pork he's had in Portland (and he's had a lot!) The food was served quick considering it was an evening on a Saturday. The fries and the sauce is fiendastic. Can't wait to try more food.
Grand Fir is a welcome addition to the quaint corner of SE Stark and 14th Avenue. They have managed to fit quite an operation into the old bread building, and the large windows keep the space connected to the streetscape. There are two main entry doors, with one being on Stark, and one around the corner on 14th Avenue. The food is expensive. The basic burger is very basic -- just meat, cheese, bread, and sauce -- for $16. Visited for Sandwich Week 2024 and their pulled pork was fantastic.The beers are usually solid contenders with other local Portland beers.
