This is so different and so much fun. The Grateful Dead rules the decor but this bar is a one of its kind and one of the first.

Neat pub with a stellar bartender who was having to work the whole room during a world cup game. Beer was only okay, but vibes were fun and the service performed way above expectations.
45 minutes in an empty restaurant at noon is way too long to wait for food

McMenamins Barley Mill Pub is a beautiful establishment with a chill vibe, perfect for enjoying a beer outdoors. The staff may not always be attentive, but the fry sauce is a hit, and Dead Heads will feel right at home with the memorabilia and music. The blackberry cider comes highly recommended, and the Communication Breakdown dish paired with a 33rd State IPA is a nice touch for fans of Led Zeppelin. Whether indoors or outdoors, this location stands out from the chain as a cool spot to hang out. The bar manager is known for making excellent martini shots, and the service is consistently excellent, with waiters who are cordial, kind, and attentive. The cozy atmosphere, good heating, music, and decorations make it a great place to relax and enjoy a bite to eat.
