“This was my 1st experience going to a McMenamins and I really enjoyed my experience. The food was great and the service was quick. I ordered the ribeye tacos that was a seasonal selection. It was incredible. On a side note, this place does cater to large groups and they do have outdoor seating.“

“Three Mugs is located in a warehouse park and the atmosphere feels very much like “Cheers” (if you don’t know what Cheers is— Google it, it’s a funny show). The bartender was awesome, super friendly. The beer was GREAT. While I’m not a heavy beer drinker, I like beer tastings. My husband and I like to taste the beer, discuss the notes we taste, then read the description of the beer to see if we tasted the intended recipe.

The Macadamia White Chocolate Ale— was impeccable. It’s not often you get a beer that has layers of intended flavors and you taste each one. This beer accomplished that.

I only had time for one that day, but I will be back!

“Nice Brewery with a large indoor dining area. I had their Rye PA which I highly recommend, a bit juicy yet hoppy. We also got a slice of the la zagna pizza from pizza week. It was excellent. Thin crispy and loaded with cheese a basil. The Bolognese sauce was an excellent touch. I will be coming back to try their regular food.“

It was easy to follow the things that he said and we were able to sample the Sumatra and Kenya blends. I Love That Mcmenamins makes the extra effort to make sure they are working with fair trade brands and no chemicals. Its so cool to learn about the ends and outs of roasting the beans and the formulas they have to follow. I had no idea all that went into making an awesome cup of coffee.“

That being said, if you're in the mood for a burger, I have yet to find burgers in Portland that are significantly better than the these ones. Notably, at this particular location, every time I've been, the service has been excellent. The waiters who are cordial, kind and attentive without being too pushy about anything or to get you out the door. That in addition to that cozy atmosphere with good heating, music and decorations makes it a great place to chill if you need a bite to eat and an hour or two to relax without being bothered.“

The reason for 4 stars is because the bathroom was lazily cleaned. There was only myself and one other person dining in the afternoon here. It only takes a few minutes to restock things and clean up to a good standard.“

“I would give this place like 1 or 2 stars cause the wait was soooo long (it was 58 minutes from the time we arrived to the time we got our food) but our customer experience was FABULOUS and our waitress was so amiable and kind!
