My mom and I came in a couple of days ago as I was in town visiting her. We spent half the time gazing at the clouds painted on the ceiling and the other half enjoying our girl dinners (two salads, side of fries, and drinks). I think that the beauty of McMenamins is that it's not a place where you go to order anything too decadent or fancy--it's a spot you pop in with a pal to catch up and lick your fingers over some greasy, fried side dishes. This McMenamins is located in a strip mall in downtown west linn. This is one of the smallest McMenamins that I have been to. They have about 12 to 15 tables, but the beer selection is excellent. I tried 1983 lager, and it was nice and smooth. Probably my second favorite McMenamins beer. Our server why efficient and pleasant to interact with. There is plenty of parking around, so you get to choose a spot to suit your no door-ding requirements.
