One of my very favorite locations for several personal reasons but this two story gem located in the heart of rolling hills and dotted forests just off of Hwy 26 will captivate you. They weekly offer live music for free, an upstairs pool table and shuffleboard and dining on a balcony, full bar, indoor rock fireplace and cozy corner window seating, out door dining patio with wood burning fire pits and string lights. “We went for the Wassail Cider Fest for the first time and it was energetic! The band performance was something I'd never seen before and hosting it in their barn really added to the experience. They had a great cider selection from a very wide variety of vendors. It was very crowded and difficult to move around at times due to the high volume of traffic. The parking lot was full so we parked nearby at the Fred Meyer and walked which was to be expected. We got food from their restaurant after and besides a slightly burnt pattie on one of our burgers, they do a good job. And service is always great. Overall we had a great time! Spending per person includes our event tickets which was $48 per person.“

“Excellent Coffee Tour. The gentleman that did the tour was extremely knowledgeable about all things coffee. It was easy to follow the things that he said and we were able to sample the Sumatra and Kenya blends. I Love That Mcmenamins makes the extra effort to make sure they are working with fair trade brands and no chemicals. Its so cool to learn about the ends and outs of roasting the beans and the formulas they have to follow. I had no idea all that went into making an awesome cup of coffee.“

“I've been coming to Tapphoria for a few years now. It's a welcoming spot with a great group of people who tend to be here pretty much every time I show up. Solid beer selection at way better prices than the other taphouses around this area. Service is great and it's a good spot to grab a beer or two and watch a game.“

“This is a pretty typical local McMenamins from my experience. Tots are always good and crispy. Other dishes can be hit or miss but the are always at least OK. I had sliders that were fine but a bit underwhelming. Love the big pretzel. Service a little slow but nothing egregious. They have a decent happy hour selection and prices are fair. Good selection of beers and ciders.“

Personally they're all just average in my opinion, I don't really understand the hype and obsession but to each their own. “The poutine was just OK. They need to add pocked 9 ions and pickled jalapenos as standard and allow you to take them off if you don't like them. Also, the best poutine I have had has braised beef or pulled pork or some sort of meat to balance all the flavors.
