“We came here today for the first time after living right down the road. The gentleman who helped us — I assume the owner — was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, and the whole experience was great. We will definitely be coming back!“

“All the othe ichis need to take notes from this store. As the years pass prices rise and it is what it is, but unfortunately the ichi closest to us has been rising prices like everyone else but there portions are getting smaller!

Not the case here, nice and hefty portions, plus unique appetizers and other menus items that the others don’t have. We will continue to drive further out to this location as long as they keep these proper portions and great tasting food up!“

“Ordered dinner to go while staying in a local hotel. Got the Loco Moco and a spam musubi. The Loco Moco was good - if you're looking for a gigantic portion that you can split into two or three, this would be it. Huge hamburger patty covering a bed of rice and side of mac salad. That's topped with two fried eggs and gravy. Pretty tasty, although the hamburger by itself was fairly bland, so you definitely want to keep that covered in gravy. Mac salad was good. The spam musubi was great - I've never had one that had grilled spam on both the top and bottom. Good spot if you're looking for a little Hawaiian on the mainland.“

“Tender green is open again! They were fantastic! The food was hot and fresh. Employees were very attentive, came out and talked with us for a bit. They explained the menu, they even boxes up our leftovers. We are coming back for sure in a few days. Definitely give it a try! If it was an option, I'd give 10 stars. The prices were very reasonable.“

“bro hawaiian style is some of the best food i’ve ever had. i’ve had a decent amount of hawaiian food both before and after eating here for the first time and literally nothing has compared to their kalua pork and mac salad. man oh man. i live on the other side of the state now but sometimes i’ll be just living my life, existing, and i will suddenly get an extreme, life-altering craving for hawaiian style that cannot be satisfied until i drive 6 hours to get some. it could probably ruin my life if i still lived in vancouver. i love it here. so much“
