“Absolutely outstanding from start to finish! Nom Nom is such a great addition to the Pearl District. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and just has a great energy to it, but what really stood out was how genuinely kind and welcoming everyone was. You could tell they cared about making sure we had a great experience.

And the food! We had the dumplings, chow mein, and samosas, and every single dish was delicious. Then came dessert. The beignets were unreal. Truly one of the best things my taste buds have ever experienced. I would go back for those alone!

Circumstances finally had me in the area so I decide to give it a try. It did not disappoint. The beef ribs were off the hook and the fried rice was amazing. “We were looking for late night ears after a concert on a weekday. They were open until midnight, that was all we needed to know. We ordered chicken fried rice, cucumber salad, corn, shrimp skewers, pork belly skewers and the bacon and enoki mushroom skewers. The spice blend on the table (not the spicy one) is MAGIC! It was delicious in everything! We loved the flavors of everything. The skewers had the perfect amount of char without tasting burned. The fried rice was so fresh, some of the best I've had. The cucumber salad was perfectly seasoned and tasted amazing with a bite of that pork belly. I will definitely return for another meal, there are so many more things I want to try.“

“Super sweet neighborhood place with nature-themed decor. Their signature dish - Lak Sa - can be made traditional (meat), vegetarian (egg), or vegan (tofu). I'm vegetarian but I always get it vegan because I'm not a fan of poached eggs in my soup noodles. It is spicy and flavorful and unlike any other dish I've had anywhere else in flavor profile. Yes, noodles and veggies and tofu appear often, but not with this magical elixir broth!“

“We came in about an hour before close, they welcomed us in and let us pick our seats. We were attended to promptly and got our orders in. The chef came out to ask if I was aware of what I was ordering (beef pho with only tripe, since I love tripe and my kids also love it and always steal most of it from me). I kindly let him know we did know and appreciated him making sure we knew what we were ordering. They seemed quite delighted that my young children (7 and 10) were enjoying the tripe so much. Towards the end, my daughter tried a piece of jalapeño that I had added and had been sitting in the soup and had been diluted. She decided that it was not spicy and brazenly attempted to eat a slice of raw jalapeño that came with the pho as well and immediately regretted it. She was in tears and the server was so nice and offered her candies to help with the spice. When she noticed it wasn't helping while I was trying to pay, she got the chef and he came back and gave my daughter milk that helped a bunch. They did not even charge extra, though I did offer. As we were leaving, my daughter gratefully looked up at me and said "mama, they're so kind" with her teary eyes and a smile. We will 100% be back. Super tasty food at a good price but most importantly, such lovely staff members. I am beyond grateful to them for our experience tonight.“

Both visits were while the restaurant was pretty packed, and service was still quick. Will be returning soon, each visit I saw other people eating something else that looked amazing! “Comfort food. Flavor bombs in every bite. Growing up as a kid it was always a disappointment going to a restaurant and the food isnt as good as what you get at home when your Asian. This place is like going home to my dad cooking dinner or visiting an auntie who says i love you by making all your favorite foods. Staff is friendly. Bathroom is always clean.“

“I’m 33 and I have been coming here since I was in high school (St. Mary’s alums will understand), and the owner always recognizes me and still remembers my order to this day even though I have gone months and even years in between visits sometimes. She is so sweet and prepares the food with care; I usually get the veggie yakisoba and I’ve never been disappointed. Their peanut sauce is my favorite. Their food is still reasonably priced, so definitely tip if you’re able!

It’s a smallish spot with not a ton of indoor seating, but I always get my food to go anyway. Parking can sometimes be a little tricky during peak traffic, but if you’re willing to walk a block or two you should be fine.“

“It's been getting really cold here in Beaverton and I decided to try pho for the first time. I tried the combo beef pho here was amazing! I have some allergies with MSG, so here in BEP there is no MSG in the food. My experience there was really good. With great employees and great service, I could tell that there were intention and care put into this place. Will be coming back soon.“

“some of the most healing brunch fare i’ve ever experienced. get the caramelized pork with egg, baguette instead of rice on the side so you can dip it into the magical broth. i’m gonna crave it when i’m sick, either physically or mentally. the garlic noodles with chicken is what a grown up wants when they feel like buttered noodles. the miso-braised beef is yet another magical meat dish with insanely satisfying broth. absolutely no complaints about the food, service was just a bit slow when slammed on a sunday but who can blame them. i’ve already been five or six times and only moved to the area a couple of months ago. so, so good.“
