Congratulations on the second location in Hillsboro. I’ve been going to the Portland location for the past three years, and it’s always been one of my favorites. Family-owned, consistently good, and the owner has always been incredibly kind and welcoming.

It’s exciting to see the expansion, and you can tell there’s a lot of heart behind this business. The food continues to deliver with rich, flavorful broth and quality ingredients that keep me coming back.

“I've tried several other places around Portland for bahn mi, and while they've all been satisfying, these ones are legitimately the best I've had.

The ingredients are all so flavorful (I got the grilled lemongrass pork and the chili momi, highly recommend!) But they also fill the sandwiches very well. I was stuffed after having the Super Combo.

The staff were friendly, the food is delicious, service was quick, prices reasonable. I will absolutely be back!

FWIW, I went at 4pm on a Thursday. Traffic was getting heavy, but parking was plentiful. I would suffer the traffic for this place again.“

We came back in for early dinner/late lunch on a Friday and it was just as amazing as ever. This will have to be at least a twice a month Phở stop. I'm literally driving 30 minutes one way for this place. ❤️

Alright, I made this post last year and didn't elaborate or have pics AND, we just went back and now I have to go back and update other reviews I have left for the other Phở restaurants on the Westside.

Reason being, that I made a mistake. I won't name other Westside Phở restaurants in this review but I will be forced to go back and update my previous reviews/ratings.

Phở Nguyễn is actually the undisputed (at least in this family) BEST Phở restaurants on the Westside and they ABSOLUTELY have the best Phở broth. This is true whether you get the Beef OR the Chicken Phở.

Their service is also amazing and they have the best Chè Ba Màu (3-color) too. The crushed peanuts in that baby... (= Chef's 💋)

“We came in about an hour before close, they welcomed us in and let us pick our seats. We were attended to promptly and got our orders in. The chef came out to ask if I was aware of what I was ordering (beef pho with only tripe, since I love tripe and my kids also love it and always steal most of it from me). I kindly let him know we did know and appreciated him making sure we knew what we were ordering. They seemed quite delighted that my young children (7 and 10) were enjoying the tripe so much. Towards the end, my daughter tried a piece of jalapeño that I had added and had been sitting in the soup and had been diluted. She decided that it was not spicy and brazenly attempted to eat a slice of raw jalapeño that came with the pho as well and immediately regretted it. She was in tears and the server was so nice and offered her candies to help with the spice. When she noticed it wasn't helping while I was trying to pay, she got the chef and he came back and gave my daughter milk that helped a bunch. They did not even charge extra, though I did offer. As we were leaving, my daughter gratefully looked up at me and said "mama, they're so kind" with her teary eyes and a smile. We will 100% be back. Super tasty food at a good price but most importantly, such lovely staff members. I am beyond grateful to them for our experience tonight.“

“5 stars!!!! We Love our Pho! (Thom) means "smells good" And that is a fact! When you walk in the door of this family restaurant you can tell it's different. Jimmy Le is a culinary master. He is a second generation business owner/chef. His pho is the best I have ever had and it's because of their secret family recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation. We have been friends since Highschool and me and the basketball players would always go to his Mom and Dads pho shop after a basketball game. It's so healing and just makes you feel good like you're giving your body exactly what it needs to repair itself. Jimmy is also a talented artist, as you sit in his small space each piece of pottery, tea cups, bowls, and urban art are so tastefully place and cultivated from local artists. His mission is to build the business of this new pho shop on Alberta and take care of his mom and dad who are reaching retirement. His family honor is incredibly inspiring and I want to support him reach his goal. Everyone has got to come and experience this family's flavor, they really have something special, it's all about high quality food. There is no question it is top tier. “During quick trip Portland, Oregon, I had to get my Vietnamese food fix at Hanoi Kitchen The bun bo hue and banh cuon were excellent. Bun Bo Hue had a rich deep flavorful broth with pork blood and pork legs. The banh cuon was soft and delicious with fresh cha lua. 5/5 Stars would recommend! ⭐️“

“I was always meaning to come by and check this place out. I had a slammed schedule today but passed right by while I was driving. I missed lunch so I decided to turn around and come in.

Wow was this the right joint for me. Not only is it priced how sandwiches should cost, but my #1 Banh Mi special had the perfect bite to satisfaction ratio. Many of the other Bang Mi joints have upped their prices and I'm finding myself biting into more bread vs ingredients.

This place gave me everything I wanted in my Banh Mi. From price to bite satisfaction, this place is worth your while. I will definitely be back 😋❤️

We had the Mì Quảng Tumeric noodles + bottle of Pinot Grigio and kept talking about how underrated Vietnamese food is with wine pairings. Lobster Puffs are also to die for! Their patio area is gonna be the place to be this summer!“

“I went here for my fiancé’s birthday. It was a warmer day but it was so cute inside we decided to stay inside for our food. We shared the shaken chicken + broccoli, and the fried cauliflower. The best fried cauliflower I’ve ever had! The shaken chicken was very flavorful and we both agreed it somehow made us feel all warm and cozy, like our new comfort food. The Thai Iced Teas were also the best I’ve ever had! Usually I regret getting one, as they’re normally soooo sweet but these were perfect. My 10 year old son did go with us but he’s a picky eater so he enjoyed a passion fruit lemonade 🤣 he loved the lemonade!
Super grateful to have found this place! I’m excited to go again. We really should try their other dishes but the shaken chicken really be calling my name 😍“

“We came here for lunch, had a choice of two soups. I chose the one that made me feel like I was born anew. Let me explain here, my sinuses were so very happy to be finally freed. I could breathe again after crying my tears of joy if you could see me you would probably laugh. “It's been getting really cold here in Beaverton and I decided to try pho for the first time. I tried the combo beef pho here was amazing! I have some allergies with MSG, so here in BEP there is no MSG in the food. My experience there was really good. With great employees and great service, I could tell that there were intention and care put into this place. Will be coming back soon.“

“I've been looking for a good restaurant serving Thai cuisine in the area but I haven't found too many that particularly impress me. However, CT Bistro in Cedar Mill seems like a good option with a delicious variety of both Vietnamese and Thai cuisine, served fresh and warm. I ordered the pad thai for lunch and received excellent service from a man who seemed to be owner of the eatery. I would like to come back if I am craving some Thai food around town.“

“I really enjoy Vietnamese food since I have already visited the country, but I've never tried brunch with Vietnamese flavors before! We found this place on social media, and it was easy to make a reservation. My husband and I decided to come for Sunday brunch, and we were blown away by how tasty the food was. I ordered Vietnamese iced coffee, which was excellent. I also had the pandan waffles with chicken—they were delicious. I just wish the waffle was a little softer and fluffier. We also tried Vietnamese beef and eggs, which were really good too! They served some fantastic mocktails as well. The service was great and very friendly. We wanted to try the coffee flight, but we were already full! We’ll definitely be back soon to try other dishes on the menu.“

We went here after going next door to check out Buttercoop Bakery’s grand opening. We didn’t order at food because we enjoyed treats from Buttercoop, but we enjoyed their drinks.

One coco milk matcha, one coconut smoothie, and one egg coffee. All delicious! I’m a big lover of matcha, so I really enjoyed the drink being less sweet and more bitter. You can always adjust the level of sweetness for your drink too.

One thing I liked about this place is the amount of variety on their menu. They have all sorts of coconut milk and coconut juice smoothies and milk teas, it made it hard for me to choose. Guess I’ll have to come back! If you’re allergic to dairy, their coconut drinks are an excellent option without sacrificing quality and taste.“
