“The service could not have been better! I forget our servers name which I feel so bad about but she was funny and very nice! The food, as always was to die for. The albacore, the noodles and chicken dish, and the black pepper shrimp were fabulous! Definitely don't skip dessert and 10/10 drinks! The coconut shake was phenomenal.“

“I got the yuzu miso ramen and my wife got the lime shio ramen. We also got chicken karaage with lemon sriracha aioli. Everything was fantastic. Such a good balance of flavors and just absolutely amazing. The workers were extremely friendly as well. I am 100% coming back here!“

“Best (and maybe only) handpulled Chinese noodles in the Portland area. The taste is quite on point with the ones I came to love in Northern China.

The only problem is the close early sometimes and aren't open on weekends. If they were, we'd no doubt have gone countless more times.

The spice level is no joke. I like it spicy, but still feel the heat (wouldn't have it any other way).“

“We ordered monglian beef spicy regular noodles and non spicy kung pao chicken noodles. We also tried the pecking duck roll and crab rangoons and it was served HOT & FAST. The noodles and the rangoons were delicious. The pecking doll roll was very flavorful, however I didn’t expect the cucumber to be in the roll. I enjoyed the freshness to it. If we weren’t traveling from out of town, I’d visit again.“

“We were looking for late night ears after a concert on a weekday. They were open until midnight, that was all we needed to know. We ordered chicken fried rice, cucumber salad, corn, shrimp skewers, pork belly skewers and the bacon and enoki mushroom skewers. The spice blend on the table (not the spicy one) is MAGIC! It was delicious in everything! We loved the flavors of everything. The skewers had the perfect amount of char without tasting burned. The fried rice was so fresh, some of the best I've had. The cucumber salad was perfectly seasoned and tasted amazing with a bite of that pork belly. I will definitely return for another meal, there are so many more things I want to try.“

“Immediately when you walk in and it feels like a great mom and pop noodle shop. The wonton and brisket noodles were easily some of the best I've had. Rich, flavorful beef broth with such a nice chew and bounce from the noodles. The wontons were also large and had minced pork and shrimp inside. The mixed meat congee was also a great order. Hot with plenty of meat that paired nicely with their chinese donut that was thin, not greasy, and so, so good. Also get their refreshing soy milk drink!“

“Best chow fun in town. Can't get fresher noodles anywhere because they supply most of the Chinese restaurants and stores in town with their noodles. Their fried rice is really good, too. They also make their own tofu, both fresh and fried. Their rice noodle rolls are good, too. just have to get their early in the day because they sell out fast. The owners are some of the nicest people and work extremely hard. Love giving them my business.“

I know it comes from trying to not upset the less than heat tolerant palette of many a portlander, but the food quality diminishes when a dish supposed to be spicy is served not hot at all. I got the papaya salad and there was not a single chili in it, despite requesting it to be spicy. Papaya salad is supposed to be a challenge to eat! There is so much flavor in the chilis. The salad was just sweet and sour, missing the entire point of a papaya salad. I can see making it without chili if your customer requests it not spicy, but please dont assume we cannot handle the heat especially when we specifically request it to be very hot“

“Mum Thai has some of the best Asian food I've had! The chicken katsu curry is delicious, the sides can make a meal of themselves, and the owners are on top of the game. I've never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes(with a long line) and its always hot and fresh. This is a regular for my husband and I, you NEED to try it out!“

“First time visit last night with six of us and they are very nicely opened up the toast restaurant and let us sit in there and we had such a nice evening and the waiter was so friendly and wonderful and really helped us out to get acquainted with the offerings we tried the vegetarian potstickers and also the various vegetarian tacos which were really good. Later we each had a vegetarian Ramen and every single one was delicious and I especially liked the one with the tofu and the hard-boiled egg and the spinach. They brought a small container of warm sake for me which I really liked with a tiny cup I got to choose. OverallI gave it a big 10+ and I would definitely eat there again and probably will go back pretty soon. The main thing is to try to find a time when the parking is not completely full in the area be prepared to park a ways away and walk which is good for us so it really wasn’t a problem.“

“Excellent food. We had the P1 mixed vegetables and papaya salad and loved it. I’ve tried other Thai restaurants in the greater Portland area and so far this is my favorite. Just be aware when asked how spicy you want something that 2 out of a scale of 1-5 is very spicy 😅“

“First visit today. Throwback pricing, truly. I don't know how it works but they are charging what I would have expected to pay ten years ago. It was a great value. No, it isn't pretty outside. That does not matter. I can't believe somebody left a bad review based on that, while never having eaten here. It was plenty comfortable and the service was fast and friendly enough. “I can’t say enough good things about Bai Mint Thai! The food and service is consistently amazing. They offer free delivery in the neighborhood. I order from them at least 2/3 times a month. The Tom kha soup, Pineapple fried rice, Panaang curry, pad Thai, Larb salad all SO GOOD! I think they chargrill the vegetables or something, every bite is perfect and full of flavor. Love, love, LOVE this restaurant so much! Highly recommend.“

“Went there with a friend. Generally, the xia long bao were good, pork and the crab/pork, taro one was very tasty. But the black sesame one were way too sweet, way sweeter than at the branches in the rest of the world, so we had to return it. Sad, as those are one of my favorite. I can’t believe that the restaurant has to adjust sweetness level to that extend to make locals like it.

“We were visiting from out of state and went into the restaurant for lunch. Service was wonderful. I'm not sure if it was the owner that greeted us, but a much older gentleman definitely welcomed our big group and accommodated a round table to fit our group. We ordered plenty and the food came out fresh, hot and delicious. I had the intestine dried pot stir fry and it was tasty. I tried other dishes that were on my table as well and everything was on point! If I visit Portland again, I'll definitely stop by the restaurant for another round. Kudos to the older gentleman that kept checking in with our group and made sure we had everything we needed. Sir, thank you and keep up the great customer service you and your team are doing! “Food is always great. The server forgot about our large group so I had to hunt one down. They also sat us in the back of the restaurant where the A/c did not work. It was in the mid 80s outside and at least 80 in the back where we were sat. Too hot to eat hot soup. Food and taste quality is one of the best around.“

“I was walking over to it after work and nearly missed it but I’m glad I didn’t. Now I can’t really comment on their Sichuan food as I didn’t order it but their Mongolian beef was really tender. It was in my opinion perfectly cooked and so were the onions it was cooked with. The sauce wasn’t too thick or thin, it was really well balanced with a subtle sweetness and the right amount of spice. The cucumber salad was super fresh and not mushy at all. Had I gone with a friend this would have been a really affordable although by yourself the lunch special is much cheaper. Still I had a lovely time and enjoyed the music they were playing. Staff was lovely, and I’ll be coming back.“
