“I was visiting my gf all the way from CT, and we were blown away at the vibe of the downtown Portland location and how delectable and tasty the food was. The atmosphere was warm, and the food was to die for! Every bite was savory, and it was all practically Food Wars foodgasm top tier levels of delicious! “I went here alone and was sat right away by a friendly waiter in a beautiful restaurant! Love the crunchy ice in their water and their ramen was 10/10! Delicious. I got the Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen and despite their website saying it was $17.50, it was only $17 when I went :) The waiter came and checked on me frequently, the lighting was cozy and warm, and everything was clean. Highly recommend!“

“First time visit last night with six of us and they are very nicely opened up the toast restaurant and let us sit in there and we had such a nice evening and the waiter was so friendly and wonderful and really helped us out to get acquainted with the offerings we tried the vegetarian potstickers and also the various vegetarian tacos which were really good. Later we each had a vegetarian Ramen and every single one was delicious and I especially liked the one with the tofu and the hard-boiled egg and the spinach. They brought a small container of warm sake for me which I really liked with a tiny cup I got to choose. OverallI gave it a big 10+ and I would definitely eat there again and probably will go back pretty soon. The main thing is to try to find a time when the parking is not completely full in the area be prepared to park a ways away and walk which is good for us so it really wasn’t a problem.“

“We recently discovered this place and had a wonderful meal. Everyone working there was attentive and very nice. We all had the ramen and were impressed by the huge portions. The broth was very tasty and not super salty like other places I have been to. Everyone was fully satisfied and we all agree that this will be our go to for ramen. Also, it happens to be very close to our house, which is a plus!“

“Be mindful that the parking garage next door (to the left, wooden) closes at 6pm. They will validate the parking - if you soend enough. There was no street parking. We were unable to eat here even though we drove all the way from Vancouver.“

“BEST ramen spot! Everywhere I go I always order black garlic ramen, out of the 20+ places I’ve tried, this is the BEST bowl I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious, the staff are amazing, thanks to Cactus and Ezrah for being awesome and for their quick service. Such a pleasure to try this amazing bowl! Highly recommend the spicy black garlic ramen.“

“What u can tell you is that the food is amazing. I had the tonkatsu and it tasted so good. The quail eggs were perfectly cooked too. It is a very cramped fit inside when you get food but other than that, the restaurant is amazing. Parking is a really big negative though. You have to find street parking. The server we dealt with was awesome and didn't even flinch when I asked to substitute or leave out ingredients. If you like Ramen, you need to come here.“

“The husband and I were on a ramen rampage, and the weather was our perfect excuse. Then, out of nowhere, we stumbled upon this restaurant. The service was spot-on, the food arrived in record time, and that ramen? Sheer perfection. The broth was a flavor bomb, the chashu was tender and divine, and those noodles? Freshly made and sublime. We left feeling like we just discovered ramen nirvana.“

“I thought I made a mistake when I entered this place - a little campy for me. Garlic T Ramen was excellent, as were the dumplings and seaweed salad. Portions were also great. Service was fast for this hungry guy eating by himself. Not too busy. I hope I can return again.“

“This hands down is one of my favorite restaurants in Portland OR. It the same quality of other top spots in the US like Nobu , O-Ya , and Morimoto . The location is perfect located in the Pearl district. The chefs are high quality and the fish is extremely fresh. They have a great but simple flavor approach. The service is warm, helpful, and appreciative. I always ask for Joy as she is a true professional and loves providing an exceptional experience on every visit.“

“I got the yuzu miso ramen and my wife got the lime shio ramen. We also got chicken karaage with lemon sriracha aioli. Everything was fantastic. Such a good balance of flavors and just absolutely amazing. The workers were extremely friendly as well. I am 100% coming back here!“

“Visited during both Nacho Week and Burger Week, had an excellent time both visits despite it being very busy! The specialty week options were both delicious and really novel. Both visits were while the restaurant was pretty packed, and service was still quick. Will be returning soon, each visit I saw other people eating something else that looked amazing! Their house lemonade and tea (especially with the ginger syrup) were both delicious.“

Village Kitchen - so far my favorite Burmese food in the Northwest district and there something like 4 other Burmese restaurants.

“We ordered thru UberEats. While UberEats won’t rectify any issues you might have, I called the restaurant, and they explained how they were able to accommodate an allergy. The food was delicious! We will be back. My kids loved the seared salmon donut., and the banana B-ritto. I had the treasure roll and a bowl with mixed fish. We got wasabi mayo sauce, chili sauce and another orange mayo- delicious. We kinda stuffed ourselves, to be honest. (And they use paper goods to wrap their food instead of plastic.) thank you!“
