“Nice cart pod. Has covered seating and a)gas) fire pit. Seems very pet friendly which is probably a plus for some people and a minus for others. Not a ton of food carts but a very good variety. Matt's barbecue is pretty famous. Around town. Is also a brewery stall that's quite large. And it's a good neighborhood to walk around in window shop or shop-shop.“

“Ordered Pad Se Ew with Lao sausage. Person who took my order and prepared it was super nice. Sausage was so overcooked I thought it was vegan, it was so dry and tough. Otherwise, noodles were prepared nicely, good flavor profile, well balanced spice heat. I’d come back again. Homeless population can get a bit sketchy at the parking lot there. Witnessed an assault. Still, between this and Poompui, there’s good Asian food to be had at this pod.“

“I can't go anywhere at The Heist food cart pod except for Namo Buddha Himalayan. The #4 Chicken Curry is the best dish ever. Delicious chicken and chickpeas in a fantastic red curry sauce. Healthy and full of flavor but not spicy. I keep trying to try another cart and always end up at Namo Buddha Himalayan. Yum.“

“Food options here are amazing! The Thai spot is delicious- their chicken skewers especially! Alexandria the Mediterranean spot is life changingly good!! I visit 2-3x a week and I live 30 minutes away. The burger spot does a super yummy ginger lemonade as well! Their fire pits are nice too. Great spot“

Rollin' Fresh - Very good sushi with a twist (burrito style!)
Bajala - Excellent tacos, very fresh, with lots of flavor. (Separate review on their google maps entry)
Village Kitchen - so far my favorite Burmese food in the Northwest district and there something like 4 other Burmese restaurants.

“This is a great food cart pod area. There is a fantastic variety of different options. The layout is also really great. It has tables and chairs and areas for dogs. What I especially love is that there is a coffee cart which is superb. I highly recommend the Bite on Belmont. It is a great setting.“

“I really enjoyed this pod! There are 8+ different places to eat and the food here is wonderful. My wife and I personally tried , "flew the coop" and "La Arepa" and both had great service and the food was delicious. The attached brewery had an amazing selection of beers. The only detractor was that there was A Lot of very hoppy beers. That is a personal preference though. The Beer I did have was delicious. It's very family friendly and I enjoyed it.“

“Got the green curry chicken from Suphatra Thai, a food truck in the same cart pod as Firangi Dhaba near my house. Really well balanced — good mix of heat, salt, fat, and sweet, with silky eggplant and fresh basil that really rounds it out. Took about 15 minutes from order. Staff was kind and generous with the portion. Good go-to spot for a low-key weeknight dinner, and there was enough left over for lunch the next day. Would order again.“

But this food cart pod & beer garden is sooo cute, sooo Portland, and sooo yum. Try the strawberry rhubarb sparkling citrus booze. “We come here a lot and really enjoy the atmosphere. The food and drinks are good. There is a nice play area for kiddos. The only bad experience I had was when I reserved a couple tables for my kid's birthday party. Even though my reservation was written down in their book, they didn't reserve any tables. After about 15 minutes of trying to figure something out for us, I was told there was nothing they could do because we didn't pay for a reservation. They don't charge for reservations, so this was frustrating. I wouldn't recommend bringing a large group here as tables fill up fast.“

“I really like this food cart spot. It's very close to our house and an easy safe walk. They have live music sometimes and the little pub is great for a drink while waiting for food. I would give it a five star overall but the food carts are intermittent sometimes, especially in the winter. The ground is all black asphalt with no greenery or gardens so overall atmosphere is a little drab and bland. Some planters would go along way. I don't love the tent shelters either. They are warm in the summer and cold in the winter with wind making them loud. Plus the location can be very loud and smelly due to the major roads. Some fence coverings would help with both. Overall I like the Foster Food Carts and will keep going if I need a quick walkable bite close to home.“

“I live very close to this place and I love a few of these food carts specifically the chicken and jo jo truck there special jo jos are amazing and there secret batter is the best crispy and perfect mix of seasonings not to salty and then perfect size cut potato wedges not to much potato that it makes it to much to the point you are not able to even enjoy the battered coating this is perfect am need buttery goodness they are deep-fried but amazing you can get a full order or a half order and then the choices of chicken strips or sandwiches you can choose from are very creative and you will not find anything like this anywhere else don't forget there dipping sauce for the jo jos as well also very great and no other place will have it so you have to go to this one specifically to try them it's the food trucks on Powell and 35th between the dollars store and Chipotle the food carts are right between the two businesses and the chicken and jo jo truck is tricked away in back in the center of all the trucks you can't miss it“

“I was in Portland for work and someone recommended this place to me, I’m from Michigan so my food expectations are pretty high but this spot honestly blew me away, the food was so good and easily one of the best meals I had while I was there, everything tasted fresh, full of flavour, and just really well done, Omar and Saif were super friendly and made the whole experience enjoyable, really glad I checked it out and I’d definitely come back, wish we had something like this in Michigan!“

My kids and I got sushi here today for the first time and I am happy to say I will be back. “Never written a review before but gotta share that this was super good. Honestly better than it needed to be and I’m thrilled about. I had the kalbi chicken with Mac. The dish was simple, no frills, but the cook on the chicken was excellent. The flavor was delish. Even the rice was perfect.
