“I've been coming here for lunch whenever I can for the past two years, and it never disappoints! Easily some of the best Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food in the Portland area. There can be a bit of a wait during lunch hour since it's a one-man food cart operation (at most 10-15 minutes), but it's always worth it since everything is fresh and made-to-order. From the massive gyros to the delicious plates, everything is a must-try. To top it off, Ali is incredibly friendly and passionate, and it truly shows in the quality of his food.“

“I have been to this wonderful spot a million times but stayed in my comfort zone of the tacos. I've literally had them all, even the burrito, and burrito bowls. However, something told me that comfort and change can't sit together so I decided to try something new tonight. I tried the scrumptious pulled Jack sandwich, which came with heaping sides of Mac and cheese, and greens. I also got my 6 yr old the tamales. Before I noticed he scarfed down his tamales and was asking for a bite of mine. I was only able to try a single bite of his and man oh man I wanted another one just for myself lol... Here we both are now both stuffed to the max but of course, what a good dinner with a great dessert. We are eating the yum yum yummmaaay blackberry peach cobbler... If you ain't been here, get here, and if you have, try something different next time, I bet you'll love it better or just the same as your favorite.

To top it all off she is such a majestic being, very social( I mean we all have our days right?) and down to earth, and her love language is servitude!!!

“This was my second time at Frybaby, and I had to bring my friend so she could experience the Korean fried chicken with Snow Cheese since she'd never had either. Theirs, imo, is the best ive had in wa/or. It was just as good as I remembered.

The chicken wings are so crispy and light while still being incredibly juicy. And the Snow Cheese is such a good sweet and savory topping. It kind of reminds me of honey mustard in the best way. It balances two completely different flavors and somehow makes them work together perfectly.

We also tried the kimchi mac. I was expecting more of a traditional creamy mac and cheese with pieces of kimchi mixed in, but it was more like a pasta with a kimchi-flavored white sauce. I personally would have preferred something cheesier with actual pieces of kimchi throughout. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t quite what I was expecting from a kimchi mac.

The cucumber salad was another highlight. It was fresh, crunchy, flavorful, and a really nice contrast to the richness of the fried chicken and pasta.

If you’re looking for Korean fried chicken in Portland, Frybaby is definitely worth checking out. The Snow Cheese chicken is the thing I’d recommend most, especially if you like that sweet and savory combination. It’s the kind of dish that makes you immediately understand why you had to come back for it.“

“Best veggie burger of my life! Hands-down, they have the best veggie burger, and I consider myself an aficionado. It’s not the crap- filled, unhealthy version, the boring fart inducing version or the dry dusty crumbly version. It’s a beautiful, well crafted, superbly FLAVORFUL, house made veggie burger with vegetables and whole foods. The flavor has an adobo taste to it. Plus they put cheese on it! I love veggie burgers, but I’m not a vegan or vegetarian so this was just really cool. I would definitely come back here again soon.

We came here super late and all the car pods were closed about 10 minutes before they’re closing time. We were just about to scramble and find an alternative And saw that this car has their lights on. We rolled up, thinking that they were certainly not going to service, but they absolutely did and with a smile“

“My husband and I have been looking for a good barbecue spot for some time and this spot DELIVERED in every way. Their nachos (we got burnt ends as our meat) were some of the best, if not best, I’ve ever had and incredibly filling. Not like most restaurants where only the top chips get covered, they serve it on a tray so eeeeeeverything is smothered in the delicious cheese and toppings. Their Mac n cheese is incredible and I highly recommend too. I got the one meat platter (ribs) and was STUFFED. We will absolutely be coming back in the future!“

“I am by no means a Vegan. In fact if there is an afterlife I am sure I will have many many furry faces waiting for me for my crimes of rampant meat consumption. So setting that as the starting off point I eat the vegan bowl here like two or three times a week. This girl is an absolute wok goddess. I have no idea how she manages to cook every single piece of vegetables in her stir frys without ever making a single piece go limp. I have a deep and abiding childhood hatred of cauliflower. It is marrow deep to the point of irrational dislike on my end. Yet when that vile weed appears at random in her stir fry I am not only okay with it, but thoroughly enjoy the dish. Even her rice is several steps ahead of the competition. The curried Garbonzo beans are simply perfect. The fresh diced cucumber and carrot makes the perfect crunchy contrast with the amazing rice and curried legumes. The fresh lime juice makes her dishes flirt with sweetness while still being savory. If your tired of the same old boring grease soaked fries and cheese slathered mediocre slabs of low grade meat check out this cart. The flavors are both well seasoned yet not over powering. She has a chefs touch to be sure. Plus my heart I am sure prefers the fare far more than another artery clogging mass of American failure cuisine.“

When I arrived the truck door was closed and electronic music was playing in the background, in the process of closing down. The owner, I believe, popped and offered to whip us up whatever we wanted, and said everything was still warm and ready to go. Had a lamb gyro with all the fixings and did a little dance while eating in the car, it was that good.“

Then, a perfect balance of citrus, wasabi, just enough serrano zip, and a perfect hit of salt. Beautiful bite! Also had the cucumber which was tasty and herbaceous. I chose not to put out a sign on the cart due to vandalism and break-ins that occur on a regular basis at Rose City Food Park. This is a serious concern here and there isn't much done to protect us from these violations to or businesses. If you have ever been to the Caffe in the past I am positive you would not have left a four star review. When I return in early May, I would like to serve you and your guests. I have run this Caffe for nearly 5 years without issue or conflict or low reviews which recently, it seems that people don't want me to operate as I have in the past. I have given my heart to this endeavor. I had been able to establish deep and wonderful relationships with countless people. And it is slowly being undermined with poor reviews. To the person (HOWELL) and friends, who wrote and reviewed me three times in one day, giving me 3 - 1 stars, there isn't much to say except I informed you kindly about the park policy and you argued with me in front of customers. I never said you had to leave. Though you told me to "mind my business" which I was, literally minding my business. Again there were plenty of witnesses to this interaction.
