“I've been coming here for lunch whenever I can for the past two years, and it never disappoints! Easily some of the best Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food in the Portland area. There can be a bit of a wait during lunch hour since it's a one-man food cart operation (at most 10-15 minutes), but it's always worth it since everything is fresh and made-to-order. From the massive gyros to the delicious plates, everything is a must-try. To top it off, Ali is incredibly friendly and passionate, and it truly shows in the quality of his food.“

“Best veggie burger of my life! Hands-down, they have the best veggie burger, and I consider myself an aficionado. It’s not the crap- filled, unhealthy version, the boring fart inducing version or the dry dusty crumbly version. It’s a beautiful, well crafted, superbly FLAVORFUL, house made veggie burger with vegetables and whole foods. The flavor has an adobo taste to it. Plus they put cheese on it! I love veggie burgers, but I’m not a vegan or vegetarian so this was just really cool. I would definitely come back here again soon.

We came here super late and all the car pods were closed about 10 minutes before they’re closing time. We were just about to scramble and find an alternative And saw that this car has their lights on. “I am by no means a Vegan. In fact if there is an afterlife I am sure I will have many many furry faces waiting for me for my crimes of rampant meat consumption. So setting that as the starting off point I eat the vegan bowl here like two or three times a week. This girl is an absolute wok goddess. I have no idea how she manages to cook every single piece of vegetables in her stir frys without ever making a single piece go limp. I have a deep and abiding childhood hatred of cauliflower. It is marrow deep to the point of irrational dislike on my end. Yet when that vile weed appears at random in her stir fry I am not only okay with it, but thoroughly enjoy the dish. Even her rice is several steps ahead of the competition. The curried Garbonzo beans are simply perfect. The fresh diced cucumber and carrot makes the perfect crunchy contrast with the amazing rice and curried legumes. The fresh lime juice makes her dishes flirt with sweetness while still being savory. If your tired of the same old boring grease soaked fries and cheese slathered mediocre slabs of low grade meat check out this cart. The flavors are both well seasoned yet not over powering. She has a chefs touch to be sure. Plus my heart I am sure prefers the fare far more than another artery clogging mass of American failure cuisine.“

I will say first time I got the Macho King sauce it was not as spicy as I led to believe, but the next time it was hella spicy. I chose not to put out a sign on the cart due to vandalism and break-ins that occur on a regular basis at Rose City Food Park. This is a serious concern here and there isn't much done to protect us from these violations to or businesses. If you have ever been to the Caffe in the past I am positive you would not have left a four star review. When I return in early May, I would like to serve you and your guests. I have run this Caffe for nearly 5 years without issue or conflict or low reviews which recently, it seems that people don't want me to operate as I have in the past. I have given my heart to this endeavor. I had been able to establish deep and wonderful relationships with countless people. And it is slowly being undermined with poor reviews. To the person (HOWELL) and friends, who wrote and reviewed me three times in one day, giving me 3 - 1 stars, there isn't much to say except I informed you kindly about the park policy and you argued with me in front of customers. I never said you had to leave. Though you told me to "mind my business" which I was, literally minding my business. Again there were plenty of witnesses to this interaction. “I have been to this wonderful spot a million times but stayed in my comfort zone of the tacos. I've literally had them all, even the burrito, and burrito bowls. However, something told me that comfort and change can't sit together so I decided to try something new tonight. I tried the scrumptious pulled Jack sandwich, which came with heaping sides of Mac and cheese, and greens. I also got my 6 yr old the tamales. Before I noticed he scarfed down his tamales and was asking for a bite of mine. I was only able to try a single bite of his and man oh man I wanted another one just for myself lol... Here we both are now both stuffed to the max but of course, what a good dinner with a great dessert. We are eating the yum yum yummmaaay blackberry peach cobbler... If you ain't been here, get here, and if you have, try something different next time, I bet you'll love it better or just the same as your favorite.

To top it all off she is such a majestic being, very social( I mean we all have our days right?) and down to earth, and her love language is servitude!!!

“Yes. This place is good. I got the “spicy chicken strips.” They were beautifully fried and crisp. I like my heat and they were not spicy. Still an enjoyable texture, however.

Their side tenders came with pickled radish which was refreshing and not too sweet.

Their side of kimchi mac was a star. Slightly spicy and tasty.

I think when I come again, I want to try their curry mash as that’s suppose to be unique as well.

This shawarma and falafel spot is a true gem. The shawarma is perfectly seasoned, juicy, and packed with flavor, and the falafel is crispy on the outside, soft and fresh on the inside—just the way it should be. Everything tastes homemade and made with care. The portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh, and the sauces really bring everything together. “Wow. When I go to a viral sandwich spot at a food cart pod, my expectations are usually pretty moderate. A lot of those places get inflated by paid influencers, and we all know it.
But No Flew the Coop completely lived up to the hype. Honestly, it was perfect.
First off, $10 for the chicken Caesar sandwich is a steal. The portion is legit, a huge piece of chicken, and everything is executed with precision. No gimmicks. The bun was perfectly toasted, the flavors were balanced, and the fry on the chicken was spot on.
The mac and cheese on the side was just as dialed. The noodles were cooked perfectly, not mushy like you often get with sides, and the cheese had that ideal, rich, sticky texture.
Service was exceptional too. They were quick, and the extra touch of serving everything on a tray at a food cart pod stood out. Small detail, but it made a difference.
I genuinely can’t find a complaint. This is the kind of place that reminds me of those small, hyper focused Michelin spots in Asia that specialize in one thing and absolutely nail it.
