“We came here for pho and it sure didn't disappoint. We ordered P4 and P10 and both bowls had huge portions of beef and noodles. The broth was also spot on.
Parking: The parking lot is behind the restaurant. There's also street parking.“
“The staff was fantastic. They brought us water as it was 105° outside and there was a wait. They were very kind and super helpful. The food was outstanding! The parmesan crusted fish and it was soooo good.
Kid-friendliness: The waitress went out of her way to make our 8 yr. Old's Birthday special.“

“The only place in Portland you need to go eat! I had the hardest time finding food spots that season their food until I found trap kitchen. This is the only place I will drive to go eat. It's not bland and the customer service is exceptional.“

“Holllyyyyy Hannah. GET THE POT STICKERS, GREEN BEANS, SESAME NOODLES, actually- just get it all. SO GOOD!! Was really blown away and was completely satisfied, yet not feeling overly full. Such friendly staff 💗 10/10. Will be back.“

“We ordered delivery this morning! Shrimp and grits were outstanding, a side of oysters cooked to perfection! Fried chicken and biscuits and gravy, best ever I heard!“

“Hands down the best fried chicken sandwich in Portland (amid much competition). The chicken is super juicy, and the breading and fixings are all perfectly balanced, but their house-made hot sauce is definitely the showstopper of this sando (be sure to ask to add this!) I got mine with a side of truffle oil golden fried potatoes, and a green goddess radicchio salad. Sadly I was too full to try one of the soft serve sundae specials this time, but I plan to save room during my next visit!“

“Definitely delicious BBQ!“

“Ordered 2 dishes togo: seafood pan fried noodle and Super Bowl A (noodle soup with 3 meats & wontons). Service was really quick since there were only 2 parties eating inside restaurant. Portion for each item was large enough for 2. The seafood pan fried noodle was just average, but the 3 BBQ meats were really good - very tasty & tender. Noodle cooked just right & the wontons were really good & large. Sorry no photos.“

“soooo good!! My favorites are the brisket and beef bulgogi. The steamed egg is also amazing. Like a tiny souffle! various condiments... i think next time I'll do a la carte of the meat portions. mostly because after two rounds of AYCE I'm overstuffed and no taking leftovers... can't wait to go back!“

“I knew i was in the right place when i saw all the delicious ducks and brisket hanging in the window. Fastest service i have ever had at any restaurant, ever! Great tea. The soup was so good. I got the 4 pork buns and my wife got a two meat combo with noodles and bok choy. The brisket has a unique and wonderful flavor. The bbq pork is juicy and a delight. Next time i will bring home a roast duck! Thank you!!!“

“I love this place. Botto's is my favorite bbq place in Portland, hands down.
Delicious bbq, rotating (but scheduled) specials, delicious sides (two types of mac), and 3 different sausage options.
Burgers, parfaits, and RC cola to boot!
You're dumb if you don't think this is where it's at.
Oh yeah and don't sleep on that spicy white.
♥️♥️♥️“

“Vendor to vendor, Mississippi Delta BBQ is phenomenal. From the people you work with to the food you eat. As a vendor, we see a lot of vendors at various events. We have had the absolute pleasure of working with Mississippi Delta on quite a few events and we are always excited to work those events with them. You will be blown away:-)“

“I loved the family meal. The brisket was great. Ribs are excellent the BBQ sauces are delicious. I love the Devil's spit for heat and flavor. The cornbread is moist not dry or crumbly.
We had the chocolate cake and bread pudding for desert. It was thick and rich but I was too full to finish the chocolate cake.
The service was excellent. There was not a long wait for the food, the waiters were friendly and even whennmy baby spilled a drink they didn't make it feel like a big deal at all. The main waitress serving our table refilled my Shirley Temple almost immediately once
I had finished it.
The atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly it feels warm and inviting. The food is rich with flavor come hungry.
Dietary restrictions: We checked for peanuts and there was nothing with peanuts. At least nothing we ordered which was a lot.
Kid-friendliness: They were friendly and helpful with my 2 year old.“

“I don't recommend Reverends' BBQ because I just discovered it after all these years and I don't want it to be too crowded when I start taking my dad there on a regular basis.“
“Sweet Street BBQ tastes like Mississippi to me, and for a Looziana Boy that's pretty close to down home. When my Chicken Plate arrived the first good sign was a slice of white bread. Now I noticed some folks reviewing Sweet Street seem to use this as some kind of Gris Gris curse signifying culinary calamity, but a slice of white bread has an honored place in the bbq world. Besides being basically traditional, white bread can do some serious sopping of that fantastic slathered bbq sauce, and the pot likker at the bottom of those collard deserves to be sponged up too. This Chicken Plate came with three big, fat wings smoked just right, and the meat was so tender made me just put my whole face into em. Wayne called out from the truck to see if I needed more napkins or one of those moist wipes, but I just kept ferociously lickin' my fingers and hands like I had lost my mind. My wife later noticed that I had a bit of sauce on my glasses, and that didn't go over well, seeing as my walk up Alberta was supposed to help me lower my A1C. I tried to make the case that the collards kind of, you know, protect me. Don't they? BBQ Beans were killer, and I suppose giving me the fiber that Lord Knows I need. Backing up all this was a kombucha from Conscious Sedation, a beer and cider cart in the same pod. After demolishing this very budget Chicken Plate ($9), I really admired the thoughtful inclusion of two toothpicks and a moist wipe for the hands. So much appreciate the people that moved up from the South many years ago and not only brought their food traditions but now preserve them and offer them to those of us who will pay attention.“

“Nice lunch of Fish and Chips. Food was quick and hot, waitress was nice. BUT - most importantly, there were no homeless parked in the street or hanging out in the parking lot. This is the first time I went back in over a year due to the Homeless on Hayden Island.“

“Had the three meat option with pulled pork, brisket, and ribs and they were all absolutely amazing. We are visiting from San Diego where Phil's BBQ reign supreme and I think JJ's is on par, if not better, than Phil's! Not only that, Tim's service was exceptional; it made a wonderful lunch experience for me and my family.“

“We had J&L cater our 130 person wedding with two choices of Meats and 3 sides. The whole process with them went so smoothly, they delivered our food timely and we received TONS of great reviews on the food. Their catfish was AMAZING and the corn bread and green beans with bacon were a hit. If I ever had to do another large event they will be number one choice. thank you guys so much for taking our wedding to the next level! Taylor and James Roberts“

“Came here for brunch on a Sunday and got a table right away so already doing good. I got the poutine and partner got the Blink pancakes. The pancakes were alright but the poutine was great. Always nice to get decent BBQ and the brisket on the poutine hit the spot. The poached eggs and fries were equally awesome too. I'll be back to try the dinner menu for sure and see if the BBQ holds up.“

“I've heard a lot about Landmark. It's the type of place your boyfriend's Dad calls you about when he sees that his sons's shared location is there. You know, because one time he went there, or maybe it reminds him of something... or, maybe this place is about connection. Maybe that's why I've heard about it... or maybe it's the drinks? I don't know...But, what if it is about connection? About talking to the person you came with, thinking about picking up that phone call when you'd usually hit ignore on a Saturday night, or maybe just remembering a moment when you were absolutely happy to hear a live band play something you've never heard on the radio...You know, the radio... that thing people always listened to on their commute to somewhere...“
