Bonus: Order from the bar and any or all of the food trucks from your phone through their great online ordering system! Very convenient and didn't have to wait in a single line. 😀“

“As soon as I walked up to the counter, I got super friendly service. While I was trying to figure out what to get, the guy working offered me a sample and was really welcoming.
I ended up going with the Hawaiian pulled pork sandwich (not totally sure of the exact name on the menu, but you can't miss it). It was amazingly good. The bun paired so well with the pineapple and pulled pork, and you could tell all the ingredients were high quality.
The customer service was top-notch, too. The employee noticed where I was sitting and came over to open up the roll-out window so I could enjoy the nice weather, without me even having to ask. He even mentioned which local bakery they get their fresh buns from. I was super impressed and will definitely be back!“

“We had the pulled pork and ribs; with collard greens and cornbread. The ribs were coated perfectly with the right amount of sauce and the meat was juicy and fell off the bone. Pulled pork was also delicious, but the ribs were my favorite. Great collard greens too! Reasonable prices as well for a hearty meal.“

“We had J&L cater our 130 person wedding with two choices of Meats and 3 sides. The whole process with them went so smoothly, they delivered our food timely and we received TONS of great reviews on the food. Their catfish was AMAZING and the corn bread and green beans with bacon were a hit. “My husband and I have been looking for a good barbecue spot for some time and this spot DELIVERED in every way. Their nachos (we got burnt ends as our meat) were some of the best, if not best, I’ve ever had and incredibly filling. Not like most restaurants where only the top chips get covered, they serve it on a tray so eeeeeeverything is smothered in the delicious cheese and toppings. Their Mac n cheese is incredible and I highly recommend too. I got the one meat platter (ribs) and was STUFFED. We will absolutely be coming back in the future!“

“This is a weekly thing for me , I eat a lot , but I take my reviews seriously . Food here is priced fair . $18.99 for a burger meal is good in my eyes , you actually get full and it doesn't taste like fake lab grown meat. Wait times are fair if it's a weekend maybe 20min is the worse I've seen with a group.“

“soooo good!! My favorites are the brisket and beef bulgogi. The steamed egg is also amazing. Like a tiny souffle! various condiments... i think next time I'll do a la carte of the meat portions. mostly because after two rounds of AYCE I'm overstuffed and no taking leftovers... can't wait to go back!“

“This is one of my favorite places in Portland. Here is the review after over 2 years of dining here. They offer authentic Chinese Street BBQ which I couldn’t find back then. I like to order extra spicy, but I don't recommend it if you don't have a very high tolerance for spice. My must-order items are skewers (beef, pork belly, squid, chicken gizzard, chives, potato) and enoki beef aluminum box with rice vermicelli. Their oyster is pretty good too.
The service becomes more contactless as they develop but the tip suggestion starts from 18% doesn't make sense since there is very minimal service. Also you can't expect friendly service from a Chinese restaurant 😁
Overall, food is pretty good and I really want this business to be sustain.“

“So, I'll start by noting that Korean cuisine is not generally my first/favorite choice, but if friends or family want I'll go along.
However, this restaurant may have changed my mind.
As noted on the AI summary, service is attentive and the restaurant has tables and decor that can accommodate different occasions.
I'd never had cold pork belly before but it was delicious here. Their red pepper sauce is spicy without being overwhelming and was delicious on the tofu banchan as well as with the pork belly.
The fried lotus chips could be a good bar snack with soju or a nice first course. I didn't load up on the sauce but it was a slightly sweet garlic mayonnaise.
The barley tea here even seemed better (cleaner tasting somehow) compared to other area restaurants.“

“100/10 This place is genuinely the best. The food is amazing and worth the price. I’ve been a customer for years and thought it was impossible for it to get any better but it DID! According to my husband the place looks spectacular and the owner is very kind. As for my meal, the spinach is as smooth as butter, the spinach meat pie is flaky and sooo decadent, the fufu is soft and easy to eat with my hands, and finally the sweet fried plantains melt in your mouth. I could go on forever, it’s an unforgettable experience every time🤌🏼“

The tofu soup was rich, comforting, and full of flavor, and the BBQ beef short ribs were tender and delicious. The portions were generous, and the meal left me feeling very satisfied. “This is a no frills kind of place. Just come for the food. The owner/staff is friendly. We ordered chow mien, gai lan, and veg fried rice. The fried rice was tasty. I didn't expect that from veggie fried rice. I will try and come back before we leave town.“
