Congratulations on the second location in Hillsboro. I’ve been going to the Portland location for the past three years, and it’s always been one of my favorites. Family-owned, consistently good, and the owner has always been incredibly kind and welcoming.

It’s exciting to see the expansion, and you can tell there’s a lot of heart behind this business. The food continues to deliver with rich, flavorful broth and quality ingredients that keep me coming back.

The whole process with them went so smoothly, they delivered our food timely and we received TONS of great reviews on the food. “My husband and I have been looking for a good barbecue spot for some time and this spot DELIVERED in every way. Their nachos (we got burnt ends as our meat) were some of the best, if not best, I’ve ever had and incredibly filling. Not like most restaurants where only the top chips get covered, they serve it on a tray so eeeeeeverything is smothered in the delicious cheese and toppings. Their Mac n cheese is incredible and I highly recommend too. I got the one meat platter (ribs) and was STUFFED. We will absolutely be coming back in the future!“

“Father's Day. We had a large group of 12. Three people had already eaten but hadn't shown up. The manager came out and said they have strict policy of everybody having to be there. After they showed up we got seated and I waited for our food and I noticed that nobody else in the entire restaurant had any food either. Are food did finally show up but it wasn't very good. A highly recommend not going to this place.! It's not very good barbecue anyway. And I should know I lived in San Antonio been to the salt lick and all of the barbecue places in Lockhart Texas.“

“This is one of my favorite places in Portland. Here is the review after over 2 years of dining here. They offer authentic Chinese Street BBQ which I couldn’t find back then. I like to order extra spicy, but I don't recommend it if you don't have a very high tolerance for spice. My must-order items are skewers (beef, pork belly, squid, chicken gizzard, chives, potato) and enoki beef aluminum box with rice vermicelli. Their oyster is pretty good too.

The service becomes more contactless as they develop but the tip suggestion starts from 18% doesn't make sense since there is very minimal service. Also you can't expect friendly service from a Chinese restaurant 😁

“I've been going to this Korean restaurant for more than a decade. Food is very good, sometimes so busy that servers can't reach you right away, but usually they are very good and friendly. They do Korean BBQ and numerous traditional Korean dishes, soups All are very good, I recommend.“

“This place is amaaaazing! Our teenager was asking for egusi and fufu, and when I looked up reviews it was clear this was the place to go. We ordered a ton of food for 5 people not realizing the chef was working alone, but he really came through for us, drinks and all. Every bit was so savory and delicious - my favorites were the meat pie, goat stew, and collard greens, but I tried some of everything we ordered (most of the menu) and it was all stupendous, including the blended fruit drinks. The location has more of an old punk music venue vibe so I'm glad we got it to go, but the chef says they are opening a full service restaurant location soon and we are looking forward to checking it out. Try this place, it's worth every penny.“
